Great atmosphere with friendly staff. We had the poutine, Eggs Benedict, burger and French Toast and Tostadas. Everything was delicious. It's a little on the pricier side, but we could tell the quality of the ingredients, so we thought the extra cost was well worth it. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations and they do not have their own parking lot so we had to find street parking. Service was attentive but I was surprised that the sugar was whisked off my table when it was. Do they not have enough sugar bowls?? The coffee was good and replenished when needed. We had to wait a bit as it is very popular. (30 minutes) My only issue was in going to the bathrooms there. The bathrooms are at the back and you had to get past the open kitchen. What surprised me was someone doing food prep in that aisle. Not only was I surprised that it was located next to the bathrooms but it was outside of the kitchen!! Ordered The Ben (double), the hash with pork belly, and a side of sausage links. The Ben looked great on paper but missed. The brie was somewhat melted, but relatively cool such that it missed the gooey warm texture I was hoping for. However, the part that made the sandwich a miss for me was the hot cranberry mustard. The "hot" in this case came from what I assume was a large amount of horseradish which overpowered all the other flavours of the sandwich. I would not recommend it. However, the dish was saved by the homefries. Easily top 3 breakfast homefries I've ever eaten, and for that reason I'm bumping this up to a 4 star. They were very crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside. You wouldn't think so by the pictures, but they were phenomenal. The dinner was held for VIPs of our company and we went with a prix fixe menu in the upper loft private dining space so we could chat and have a nice, formal dinner for our group. I coordinated everything remotely from Texas and our organizer, Jessica, was great! She made sure to gather all of our details, customize the menu, and be aware of all allergies and intolerances of the group so they could accomodate everyone. The food was excellent! Everyone was happy with the selection that was available and we received plenty of great feedback from our guests on the flavor and execution of all of the dishes. The custom/special drinks from the bar were a hit as well. The service was wonderful. Our server connected with me first to ensure the group was complete and that the timing for the courses was right. We received our drinks soon after our arrival and appreciated the water pitchers on the tables. Across the group we ordered all of the available items and received great feedback on all of them. I personally had the steak frites and while I'd normally want steak sauce, the steak was so flavorful and well-cooked that it definitely didn't need any! Overall we had a great experience at Social!

We reserved a table for 4 which came with bottomless mimosas and 3 course set menu, $69 per person including tip. The service was amazing; they accommodated a last minute gluten allergy and my friends were late to the reservation. The server was super understanding and didn’t rush us, so we definitely appreciated all of this. We started with scones (they were tiny - pictured in the cage) with a very modest serving of preserves for 4 people. The second course you could choose one of two options from the set menu, both are pictured. We got 3 eggs Benny at our table and everyone’s poached eggs were hard (we wanted runny yolk, maybe ask for that specifically if that’s what you want as the server didn’t ask). My partner also had a tiny serving of preserves with his meal (as seen in the photo). We asked for more preserves for my partners extra scones that came with his meal and they allowed that- so thank you! Overall we were expecting more bang for our buck. We found that the cost for the amount and quality of food didn’t add up, however the atmosphere and bottomless mimosas was exactly what we needed. On our drive to a funeral in Luksville, we noticed the charm little restaurant from the main road. I had suggested to the family this location for lunch since we were only a 15 minutes drive away. My biggest concern was if there's that many flies flying around in the dinning area, how many are actually flying in the kitchen landing on the food and clean plates. The meal was served in a reasonable amount of time and was good and hot. Another recommendation to the owner would be to stock up hand towels as their was no paper towels in the hand dispenser. The men's single washroom was clean. On our way out, we noticed there was a brick at the bottom of the side door assuming to keep the air circulating inside. We now know why the restaurant had so many flies. Would I return for another meal or suggest this restaurant to someone else; unlikely not. This restaurant could become a little gem if management or ownership made the right changes in the near future.

Service and staff are very friendly and quick. The atmosphere of inside is very European and quaint, it is very much a small town cozy cafe with small seating. They also have a patio outside to enjoy the fresh air from. There is a large selection of drinks and a good selection of food considering how small the cafe is. The food and drinks are a little on the pricier side however it is a local business and it's understandable and the quality is too good to complain. Alcohol is served here as well along with baked goods, take-home meals, and other local products such as condiments and snacks. Highly recommend the crepes, cream of mushroom soup, and the potatoes. I love coming here and fully intend to return again :)

The server was attentive but not too 'in your face.' They were extremely responsive, helped us every step of the way including accommodating our every request the night of. Abbas was extremely present throughout the evening, not only checking in on the bride and groom but every room in the venue ensuring guests were taken care of. They communicated with our vendors to make the day run smoother and allowed us access to the venue prior to the event to add our own finishing touches. The food was incredible, and Yousef was extremely accommodating by adding any items we wanted to the menu. The renovations they've done really make the whole space pop. I highly recommend contacting them for any event.
