There is a live DJ playing at the venue every Sunday, the atmosphere is great and very lively but you can still talk easily. The roast beef is served rare/medium rare, or you can ask for it to be cooked for longer to your preference. The Bacon loin is delicious, very juicy and the honey mustard glaze is delightful. The half roast chicken is awesome, also very juicy and the meat comes from the bones very easily. Everything was cooked to perfection! The veggie offerings have also been great, I've so far, only tried the mushroom Wellington and a curry potato pie (for science) but both were super tasty. The trimmings are all great, very fresh and great quality - the yorkshire puddings are immense and the gravy is super tasty. My favourite part is the red cabbage, it has an almost winter spiced taste and it's gorgeous! To top it off, the trimmings are unlimited! Making it great value for money. The atmosphere and energy of it is magic. Sat on roof terrace which is surrounded with lots of greenery. Super cool music and vibes. Love it. The bar and decor isn't a polished fancy bar. It is real, authentic muso bar. The icing on the cake is the wee food place on the roof terrace. This was a surprise to me as I didn't know it was there. Sipping a beer in the sunshine then glance over to see pizzas and snacks. A genuine Sicilian pizza kitchen. Oh my days - food was unbelievably good. The food lacked character and the atmosphere was horrible. They had people in the upstairs area literally screaming and whistling throughout the whole meal. We ordered the Sunday roast platter for 2 people. You pay £60 and you receive 5 potatoes, 7 carrots and 5 pieces of broccoli along with the tiniest pot of gravy and not much else apart from the meats. Walking distance to everything Manchester has to offer. The decor and hotel has been done to a high standard and the staff/concierge team were very nice. The rooms only had single glazed windows which let in a draft and lots of noise which ruined our experience in this hotel. There was no radiator in the bathroom and large windows letting in a draft so it was very cold in there. The pillows were VERY uncomfortable (rock solid and massive) so you couldn’t get comfy and I woke up with a stiff neck. When I mentioned the bad nights sleep and uncomfortable pillows to the staff in the morning, they mentioned that we could have asked for a different pillow and the noise is unavoidable with no real resolution or compensation. When you’re paying £400+ a night you expect everything to be perfect and to have a good nights sleep and if not, some compensation to be given when a complaint has been made. They did eventually offer to take the bottle of Prosecco off the room booking but this was only given after asking for a complaints email and wasn’t offered off their own back. Overall - nice hotel in a good location but they definitely need to put double glazing windows in and change the standard pillows to some that are much better quality (or make it clear upon arrival that you can request alternatives)

I booked a cinema and spa experience for a birthday celebration and it was lovely. The screening room is lovely and a really special touch. Was close to the hotel so figured we'd give it a go. It was busy and there was a comedy night upstairs. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had to go online and create an account to buy tickets to go into the comedy show even tho I was there - they had no way of taking money from us directly; and the ladies wcs were very compact and doors insecure. Even though it’s right in the city centre, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. You get the basics, bed, fan, kettle, tea and coffee, soap, which was exactly what I expected for the price, and everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and having a pub downstairs with a rooftop bar was a nice bonus. I didn’t need anything fancy, just somewhere central, affordable, and easy, and this place really delivered. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Manchester.

Firstly, the wedding was handle brilliantly, great co-ordination and staff could not be more professional, helpful and friendly. The entire day flowed magnificently due to the planning on both parts of the couple being married and the hotel. The food was excellent. All tables served promptly maintaining that everything was hot and fresh. After the wedding the rest of the visit was a pleasure, my past experiences after an event like this haven’t been as welcoming.

Hotel is a little quirky but I liked that. Rooms appear to be all different and our room was great. It had a mezzanine floor with bed on entry level and sofas and TV, shower and loo on mezzanine. Staff couldn't have helped more. Bar on the top provided great views across West Manchester from the terrace while the bottom floor bar was a delight with a separate sitting area. Around us was manic due to Pride however this was a pocket of calm. Once seated we had a look through the cocktail menu which was unique and plentiful. Between us we ordered lychee pina colada, roast pineapple margarita, French martini , expresso martini and the peach and ginger. The prices were £13 each but they were generous in size. The menu catered for all dietary types (One of the main reasons we why we booked here as we had a vegan in our group). Between us we ordered fish and chips, chicken and waffles, rainbow bowl, platter and I chose the baked salmon with seaweed mash. Everything was presented well and the right sized portion. We did get £6 tender stem broccoli on the side which did come with a cottage cheese which wasn't expecting. It was nice but just wanted a box of broccoli! For dessert a vegan berry crumble was ordered, peach baked alaska, tirimisu and brownie. They poured a peach liqueur over my dessert so it was lit for a short moment. The crumble looked fab and we all exclaimed how large the tirimisu was. Overall the ambience was great and food consistent, the service was also very good but I feel that is because of the service charge. I know these are optional but I rather have genuine great service and then determine a tip amount rather than one be calculated for me
