We each got a burger. It was flavorful with a great bun. I loved how thin the onions were cut and the sauce was great too. Not sure exactly what “Uber sauce” is but it didn’t taste like the typical special sauce (aka some sort of thousand island variation) that a lot of other burger places have. The fries were great too. You get a lot to an order but they were so good we managed to polish them off. The fountain drink section wasn’t huge but did have a number of specialty sodas to choose from which was a nice surprise. Food came out pretty quick! The smoking turkey has a nice garlic butter toasted bread. The Cuban was done fairly well although bits of the pork were dry. A few dishes I would’ve never thought to order on my own but thoroughly enjoyed and want to go back for again especially the sea bass enchiladas … wow, amazing. They have a handful of dishes that they’ve had around forever because their locals / consistent clientele come back again and again for certain things but they also refresh parts of the menu from time to time (which they just did) and I think they do a great job of keeping what’s popular while also bringing in some fresh new things. The smoked salmon Caesar salad was unbelievably good. If I lived around the corner I’d literally be there once a week just for that, right up my alley. I really enjoyed everything. The tacos were great, you can get them a few different ways (on corn, flour or lettuce wrap; fried or grilled). The dips (cold spread trio) were really delicious. Excellent shrimp cocktail and the coconut shrimp was good but I could’ve used more coconut (and bigger shreds of it…tasted more like fried shrimp than coconut shrimp). The bacon aioli sauce for the hush puppies was awesome. The salmon over creamed corn and broccolini was really nice. The whole menu sounds amazing, and great to have an excellent option for seafood in an area that’s predominantly bbq and meat focused. Desserts were also really nice, made in house there. The key lime cheesecake was my favorite. The chocolate pie was great. The bananas foster was their own spin with angel food cake I think? A nice lighter option for dessert. But the cheesecake won out for sure. Highly recommend!

I had the Motherclucker Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and tater tots. The size of the servings was plentiful. The tots were perfect. The Nashville Hot fried chicken was excellent but unfortunately the bun was hard and dry which distracted from the sandwich. Maybe a little sauce would have helped? This place had a touch and a cornerstone of all of them and the sub was great. I went on a Friday post lunch around 1 and was about 10 people in front ordering or waiting. I got my order of an Italian half in about 10 minutes while I drank a tea/lemonade. I did see that the place was BYOB which that is awesome. Need to remember to grab a beer. The place takes me back to my early teen years with all the nostalgic games and decor. They have outside seating and very kid friendly. Even has a merry-go-round. The sub was perfect. Such great deli flavors of the meats and fresh veggies. Let me talk about the bread. If you ever had a field trip to a bread baker like Bairds or Rainbow as a kid and they give you that fresh bread off the conveyor belt. It’s the same feeling. We came back today it was great as usual. I typically get the chicken strips because they might be my favorite in Dallas. Today I went with the chicken, biscuits, and gravy on the brunch menu. While I thought it was good, I regretted not getting the chicken strips. They are too good! The rest of the group got a salad and eggs Benedict and said it was great (pictured). I’m from New Jersey and been here for a years and this is the only place I’ve ever been to that’s reminded me of home. The atmosphere is old but cozy and reminds you of a classic home town Jewish bakery/northern diner. The service is always 10/10. Friendly and very very quick, even when it was jam packed! Now the food. WOW. Their deli sandwiches are STACKED. They definitely don’t skimp at all, and the sauces and Cole slaw are fresh and delicious (and my partner HATES cole slaw but he loves the taste it adds to the sandwiches here). Their omelets are tasty, especially with added meat like pastrami. Hash browns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Corned beef hash is meaty and reminds me of growing up. The matsa ball soup is definitely recommended to try and their French fries are classic diner delicious. Now the bagels are probably the best I’ve had from anywhere in the south. If you’re from Jersey or NY you know the only good bagels are ours, but these guys actually make some good bagels for down south! Finally, their bakery area is amazing! Classic diner selection of delicious pies and cakes along with eclairs (8/10 great), brownies (easy 9/10), cookies (8/10 and huge), and the danishes (8.5/10 so delicious). If you haven’t been here, then you need to go here ASAP! Well worth the wait on a busy morning.

We tried 3 varieties chicken barely, matzah ball and chicken noodle all were delicious but the Matzah ball was number one it was like evening healed from the inside out deliciousness.
