I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the best shrimp and grits I believe I've ever had, so amazing! My husband ordered the crab stuffed shrimp and asparagus and we nearly passed out because it was that good. We also got a side order of the shrimp stuffing balls—think hushpuppies stuffed with shrimp. They were fantastic! Creme Brulee for dessert was also great. Portions were perfect, we didn't finish anything. Price was honestly under what we expected and spent less than $90 for 2 entrees, side order of stuffing balls, and dessert. Environment was fantastic and I so much to look at in there! We can't wait to come back and hopefully get Dwayne! Management, if you see this, please let Dwayne know he provided top tier experience and really made our dining experience exceptional.

We shared the crab spinach dip which was our favorite part of our meal SO GOOD! And we split the wedge salad which was also so tasty. We liked the blue cheese vinegarette. And the salmon was cooked perfectly and was flaky. Not pictured is the pecan pie dessert a la mode which was also really good. We can't wait to come back and try different entrees. I gave service 4 stars because it did take a good bit of time for each of our courses to come out and my water glass would get low. I think our waitress maybe had too many tables. Did a quick Google review and realize I'm missing out of some great food. Arrive early Saturday evening for dinner, was seated quickly. Got our drink order and app fairly quickly also. With help of the waiter, ended up getting the seawall platter and shrimp po boy. I ended up going with blackened shrimp and fish with Mac. It was delicious, along with the large soft roll. Wife only down side was that the po boy didn't have a remoulade sauce to go with the sandwich. Couldn't eat dinner without dessert, their award winning ganache pecan brownie with ice cream. For us there was to much ganache and chocolate sauce, but once we scrap it away and are the brownie it was pretty good. Would def recommend trying this place out if you haven't. I will come back to try other dishes the next time we're in Galveston. Another nice feature was the upstairs outdoor patio where they serve cold drinks with a great view. No need to purchase anything to check out the patio and seating.

What a delightful place! You’re gonna have to wait bc that’s just life but it’s worth it. The server was friendly, he made great recommendations and The food was delicious. We got the Waffle & Eggs with a side of potatoes and the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were amazing, their homemade strawberry butter is out of this world and did i mention the potatoes. Not even remotely sure what they did to them to make them as good as they were. Oo and their strawberry lemonade is made in house and makes a delectable mimosa. I’m visiting from New York and was super excited to try this place but here’s a few things you guys can improve upon. I’ve worked in the kitchen, as a manager, server, food runner, bartender, and hostess in many restaurants. 1) Starting off, bread was not given to us even though other tables have been getting it. When we asked for it, this server said, “Oh, you guys didn’t get it?” Obviously not, everyone else had white plates with bread to munch on and we didn’t even have a plate. Just apologize next time. 2) We were both still pretty much munching on our entrees or just finishing when a female server came and asked if we were done. Please do not do that, wait a few minutes before we finish to come ask, “Are you guys still working on your plates?”. We felt rushed and understand that it was closer to 9PM, however we are paying a lot so we expect the best service. 3) We ordered dessert. If a table orders one dessert and there’s more than one person, then bring them small plates. Small plates with napkins and spoon on top. Do not just lay the spoons on the dirty table that several plates had been on. Do not let the customers lean over the one plate of cake. 4) New York Strip was cooked so unevenly. I asked for medium rare and one side was overcooked and the other side was medium rare. You need to let your steak sit in room temp, get it on a nice sear but lay the thicker side on the sear first if it’s an uneven steak, then baste well. If I’m expecting top notch steak, as it’s supposed to be a steakhouse, the temperature should be even on both ends. If the difference between the ends are too vast for an even cook, please adjust the size. You guys should know this. The actual medium rare side was also chewy, I should not have a hard time swallowing a new york strip — it’s not a chuck roast. Overall, the oysters were great. They were plump, sandless, and juice was still on the shells. Props for the crackers on there, it’s good for people who can’t stomach oysters as well. Cake was good but could be more moist. Environmentally the ambience was nice, the windows depict the boats and sunset very well, and music was well chosen.

Food is delicious. The service is awesome. The gentleman that attended us was super friendly with my family. My daughter was undecided with 2 dishes. After being a bit disappointed with my last visit, I was sure I would never return. However I find myself in Galveston for Memorial Day weekend and decided too give them one last shot. And it seems as though I have fell in love once again with this place. Not only have they improved their look but The service was “amazing”,and the food was “Outstanding”!!!! I had three different plates because my taste buds were in heaven!!!!! Please go and check this little spot out! I promise it won’t disappoint!
