We passed The Thirsty Cougar at first, thinking it might be too touristy, and kept walking in search of something more local. A few kind locals gave us directions, but we still couldn’t find what we were looking for. On our way back, we passed The Thirsty Cougar again and saw people enjoying colorful frozen drinks. It looked so inviting, we decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad we did. Ronaldo greeted us with such warmth and kindness. He explained that their frozen drinks are made with fresh fruit and can be made without alcohol, which was perfect since I don’t drink. I ordered a mango and tamarind combo, and my husband had a Tecate. We also shared the Telmex nachos. The drink was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and refreshing with a generous portion. The nachos were fantastic, and you could really taste the difference with the freshly grilled meat. Every bite was satisfying. Ronaldo brought us spicy salsa and fresh jalapeños that added a great kick. My husband enjoyed it so much, he had a second Tecate. The service from Ronaldo was exceptional, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the view was beautiful. This ended up being one of the best parts of our day in Cozumel. So happy we gave it a chance. We stopped in for breakfast one morning. We noticed that it was full of locals getting a meal in before heading to their jobs and just KNEW this was the place to eat. Our server was very friendly and double checked on us through the meal. We started off with some coffee and one of their fresh juices (delicious). They also have an extensive list of smoothies if you're feeling like something lighter/healthier to start your day. We then split two breakfast entrees: huevos motulenos and huevos jarochos. Both of these dishes are specialties of the area that I would highly recommend you try. Our favorite was the huevos jarochos which are like little breakfast enchiladas. There's also a bakery connected if you want some coffee and a pastry. If we find ourselves in Cozumel again, we are 100% going to pay this place a visit.

We paid about about 200 for the snorkel and beach day which for us was worth it for two people including transportation to and from port still much cheaper than our cruise excursions! The beach club itself is pretty cute too a great photo spot the waters nearby are beautiful and they even had kayaks paddle boards and all kinds of ocean toys to play on. And we used Tortugas as our excursion company there. It was amazing. Seferino our guide did a great job driving us thru the jungle to the Cenote, with super fun ride on atvs, then a Tequila Tasting and the Club Beach. Limber was very attentive and polite over there. We got a day pass which included everything except food and drink, and that's really where my complaint was. Way too expensive for tacos and beers on a Mexican beach. It was a jaw dropping disappointment. Then they charge you a Gratuity which no one tells you about, and the servers still want a tip for them on top of that. Aside from it being a bit overpriced, the beach is nice, but there's coral along the water line so the only way in and out of the water is a ramp. The snorkeling is great as the staff throw old food in the water to attract the fish. The kids loved the water toys too. Lastly, I really enjoyed the tequila tasting which was very informative. However, consistent with the rest of the place, I bought a bottle to take home which he charged me in pesos and it ended up being about 15% more in USD on my CC statement than he told me it would cost while i was sitting there.
