Only a few things I would critique… Check-in is INSANELY long no matter what time of day you are checking in. I’m not sure what takes so long, as it is a simple check-in process. We waited in line for nearly an hour before getting to our room, and any time we walked in the lobby the line was just as long. Second, the elevators are HORRIBLE. They have several elevators and yet you still have to wait almost 20 minutes to get in one. I ended up having to walk down flights of stairs just to check-out in time because the elevators would not go down. Also be careful because these are very old and will dip on you while riding. Other than that, the price was decent and the room was wonderful! No complaints about the rest of the stay!

It was absolute hell from the second I checked in. We had the least friendly staff member- who barely said a word to us as we signed a bunch of different screens, and signed, without being told what was happening (we booked 2 rooms). Handed us our keys without saying a word about the pool being closed down and unusable; to the elevator leading to the rooftop restaurant undergoing maintenance from the upper floors..then sending us up at 9:30 with a group of 3 children so that we could be yelled at the second we stepped off the elevator into the restaurant! I went back to the front desk to talk with the employee and she was disgustingly rude to me, argued with me; and just plain old did not care what so ever. We felt completely unwelcome, frustrated, and let down. Then to top it off, our rooms were disgusting. The previous guest left his ID in my bed.. along with pubic hair!! They obviously didn’t clean my bed. I slept 2 days on top of all of the covers because I was so disgusted. We felt completely defeated. The hallways were disgusting, the guests on our floor were loud and obnoxious at all hours off the night. Don’t even get me started on the parking attendants being completely unhelpful and rude when we were trying to make sure my handicapped, veteran father could get his luggage out before parking. Not one single person in that building cared we were guests there. We didn’t get welcomed once. Departure was no different, the employee took a phone call while checking us out, covered the mouth of the phone and told us we were all set… we had to request a receipt and for him to explain to us the holds on the room and process of it being refunded. The hotel keycards are really finnicky, which was annoying to replace almost every 3 days. The elevators are the worst - they take forever, and I consistently sprinted down the stairwell to get in between floors. The service isn't phenomenal. Multiple times I asked the front desk for a blow dryer, or something else, and most of those times they just didn't bring it to my room. The pool/gym is fine though, and the staff was nice about letting me in when it was late at night. And they helped me print some documents/ship packages, so at times the staff was very kind. The best part of this hotel is where it's located. It connects to Bally's which has a great Cantonese restaurant, is right on the boardwalk, and is near the Tanger Outlet Mall. The Claridge doesn't really have much in their own hotel, personally I'd recommend just staying at Bally's. I understand The Claridge is an old hotel, but the mouse did it for me.

Knowing the issues with the elevators we decided that after the book event rather carry the books back to our room and wait for the elevators and struggle to fit we would put them in the car and repark the car. My wife and her author friend loaded their books into our trunk the valet took the car and parked in what we believed was a secure lot. In the middle of the night my wife starts getting text and fraud notifications regarding her bank card and that was the start. Go down to the lobby discover the driver window was broken and several things stolen from the car including a wallet a purse some of my wife's books things we purchased and her friends whole entire luggage with over 50 books and an iPad. Stolen out of our car that was supposed to be safe. We got no help from the hotel or the valet parking people and In fact it is my belief it was a set up and an inside job. Even having to call the police and start an active investigation that lead us to the local bus station and later a dollar general they offered nothing but an empty apology and a small discount. They claimed the valet was separate and they couldnt comp our stay or even hold their staff accountable for the issue. The supervisor of the valet parking named Marty walked away from me when I tried to present information to him that may have incriminated the Parker, he refused to listen and turned his back on me. I felt violated I felt abused as my wife cried her friend cried and these valet parked are standing around laughing and acting like its a joke. The alarm didnt go off cause our key was in the car. And I wont stop until we get justice cause the way they handled us and the situation was wrong

I went here with 5 other friends for a trip and our room was awesome. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, pull out couch, kitchen, and a balcony and it was STILL cheaper than almost every hotel on the boardwalk. There is no resort fee, which I love, because I hate paying for things that I won’t use. It was super secure, every guest had a wristband that was scanned when going in, so being a bunch of young people we felt more safe. Elevators weren’t as bad as everyone is saying, we were on the 31st floor and there was maybe twice where we waited longer than 5 minutes. For parking, we got lucky where we had someone that let us park at there apartment but it IS 25 dollars a day to park at the Wyndham, so it’s best to probably just use another hotels flat rate garage and walk over to the hotel. It’s in a good location, right off the boardwalk and it’s by Hard Rock and Ocean. Tropicana, Ballys, and Caesar’s is about 30 minutes. Lots of amenities as well, free movies, shows, game room. The staff was super friendly, from the moment we checked in they were helpful and explained the security procedures, hotels events and more. The rumor is this hotel may be closing which is very unfortunate, because you truly can’t beat a place like this.

The set up of the elevators going directly to your floor and only being able to enter the building with your room key provided comfort and security. My only challenges was checking out out and the fitness center. There were excessively long wait times (15 - 30 minutes) for these elevators. The fitness room was very basic for a hotel this size. I previously rented the 1 bedroom suite, the 2 bedroom suite and this visit was the 1 bedroom deluxe due to having a jacuzzi tub and extra sink in the bedroom. The main bathroom could be accessed from the bedroom as well as the entryway. There is a full kitchen with everything you need including an ice maker in the freezer. We had a pretty nice view although I didn't have a view of the sunrise I could still see the ocean. There was a full view of the bay so sunset was easier to see. On this particular stay I experienced the cleanest room I've ever been in. It is the most important thing to me and made my stay super relaxing. I didn't want to leave. I had a minor issue with the toilet seat being a bit loose and off center which can be jarring in the middle of the night lol. My previous room had the same problem. Other than that I had an amazing time. On the previous visit I requested a late check out (check out time is 10AM) which was denied but I wasn't too upset. I can see from other reviews that early check-in isn't really a thing either. I feel this may be why the rooms are so clean. Housekeeping shouldn't feel rushed and at the same time expected to do a meticulous job. I'm aware that the number one complaint is about the elevator system. While I'm also not a fan I think the biggest problem is user error. It can be confusing at first and takes some getting use to but it didn't spoil anything for me. On my previous stay I had an issue which I discussed privately with the guest services manager, Yuliya. She had an excellent demeanor and was so very professional and understanding and made it right. I would encourage anyone with an issue or complaint at any hotel to stay calm and respectful and give the manager a chance to do their job. Yuliya went above and beyond to gain a customer which is super rare these days. I want to thank her for the beautiful greeting I received this last stay! 🙏🏽 I also want to thank Usman at reception for making it possible to book an extra night for us. They never have anyone cleaning the pool and they dont run the filter all day. You come back down the following morning and there is still hair, debris floating and sand everywhere. They have staff that work there but do very little (move chairs & change trash) I have never seen them vacuum the pool in over 3 years, scoop out debris or sweep up sand on the deck. They could do better.

Hotel rooms are quite outdated. Shower looks like something out of a 1800 movie. I do like that the suite include a small kitchen where you can do your own cooking, but everything else did not meet expectations. Beds were old and felt extremely lumpy. I woke up each day with back pains. The pool itself was gross. There's no filtering away of the water. The water seems to not go anywhere at all (and new water doesn't get jetted out) so instead everyone just keeps on swimming in the same water for the whole day (or even months). Location is good since it's on the boardwalk but based off of the price and the conditions of the hotel, this would NOT be a place I go to or recommend my friends to go to.

The room was really outdated. It was kind of clean, surface clean, but so old you couldnt tell. The toilet was so small it must of come from a daycare. Overall the property is dark and is in need of some serious renovations. The check in process was ok, but you have to pay for parking on a phone app rather than being able to pay at hotel desk. The room was very dated. The water in the bathroom wasn’t hot. Also the hotel advertised that rooms are cleaned daily however no one came to clean our room. We tried to contact front desk and couldn’t get anyone. While we were there someone was running around our floor in the middle of the night drunk. I’m extremely disappointed with our stay. We booked this trip as a special family getaway after receiving free veterans tickets to Disney on Ice, and we were really looking forward to making good memories with our kids. Unfortunately, the experience at this hotel was the opposite. When we arrived, we found a roach in our room (which my husband killed), and the toilet seat was broken. Those issues alone were frustrating, but later that night we were woken up by extremely loud noises from the adjoining room — the guests were clearly having sex, and it was loud enough that our 2- and 6-year-old children woke up. It was incredibly uncomfortable and completely inappropriate for a family stay. We were unable to switch rooms at the time, so we had no choice but to deal with the situation overnight. I checked in on November 22 for a one-night stay but ultimately decided to leave the same day due to multiple concerns regarding the overall quality of the hotel. We chose this hotel as a last-minute resort due to the fact that we had an event to attend in Atlantic City for that night. I would like to note that the front desk associate Aminah was the sole positive aspect of my experience. She was courteous, helpful, and demonstrated excellent customer service & truly the ONLY reason I gave more than 1 star on the “service” aspect. In addition, she was literally the only person working the front desk from the moment we got there. The line was long, the phone was ringing constantly, and she still managed to handle us all very gracefully. Unfortunately, the room conditions did not meet basic expectations. The first room assigned had an odor of urine, requiring an immediate room change. The second room, while different, still presented several issues: the towels were excessively worn, hair was present on the bathroom floor, an electrical outlet became dislodged from the wall when unplugging a charger, the bathroom sink was cracked , and the couch had dry spray of some type of substance as if it hadn’t been wiped down correctly, if at all. The downside was upon entering the room it had a smell of like wet carpet in a nonsmoking room whereas my daughters room was a jr suite upon entering her room it actually smelled very fresh for a smoking room. I had to call 1st morning as we had no wash clothes in bathroom we took showers using hand towels for wash clothes 👎. We only had 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper. We learned when we called for wash clothes that they don't refresh nothing unless you request it yet I'm pretty sure we were charged a fee for it. Our daughter's room was again a jr suite in smoking. She had wash clothes a full length mirror and a huge shower with full bench. She too had an ocean view but not quite as nice as our premium room. The premium room was spacious with 2 tv's one facing the king bed which was behind a wall hidden from a living room type area. It also had a large table which was nice for 4 of us to play cards. It only had 2 chairs but we utilized the desk chair and a living room chair so it worked out. For a premium suite size was right but decor was basic, as for the bed best part was the pillows, bed was kinda hard. Didn't have a luxury vibe.

Betsey the Service Manager is a disgrace. While checking in she told the whole area how much my bill was. Then she accused me of freezing their financial system as I was trying to pay. I heard him in the hallway. He felt very comfortable with doing this. My 1st vacation stay here and this is how guest are treated like DAY OLD TRASH and won't be my last. During which time I was COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING COLD. They finally brought me a blanket and claimed something was backed up. Liars. I was very sick for a whole day and still trying to recover. I have not been to Atlantic City in "years". We came at a not to good of a wk. Weather is not good, but we're right on the waterfront. We can walk on the boardwalk from here. Resort is ok. Small from what we usually stay in. It feels like a "big" hotel room. Everything is clean, bed is comfortable which is a plus. Nice ocean front view from bedroom and livingroom. Lobby is nice and clean. We didn't try any of the other amenities. Pool, hot tub game room...etc.

The only on-site restaurant is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. They don't offer any coffee in the lobby. Only one coffee pack provided in the room which makes 1 cup of coffee. Called housekeeping, and they refused to provide any extra coffee packs. I then saw a couple housekeeping staff in the hallway, and they gladly gave me a few packs after I asked. The value for your money here is just not great. We did attempt contacting the hotel through Orbitz customer service about a partial refund as hotels normally always charge an early check-in fee, but they refused. Hopefully they will be able to improve on that customer service, and would be a good idea to have your restaurant on the 6th floor always open for breakfast.

I honestly wouldn’t even sit down anywhere in the room. We left within five minutes. They did refund our money thankfully. I would suggest not to hand your keys over to the staff after reading some reviews and others have stated things going missing from their rooms while they were out. Bed bugs and cockroaches were also mentioned as well. Wish I would have really read the reviews before booking. I’m so glad we didn’t stay there and were able to find an air BnB close by. There are a lot of drug addicts and homeless in the area. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD.

The location is great. We got there late about 11pm on the 30th of may.We had 2 rooms with the 3 beds. Around 2am my son sent me a message with a picture of a bed bug in the room he was in. He calls and said he just dozed off and the bug was biting on his dialysis site. We told the staff on site and he was very unprofessional about it. He said it was a roach but it was clearly a bed bug. We showed him pictures and the actual bug in a napkin that was dead because my son killed it. He told us we have to wait until in the morning to speak with the manager and when my son said he was not staying in that room and started calling other hotels the staff member offered us a new room which we did not want because with my knowledge of bed bugs I know that if there is one in that building it’s probably a infestation somewhere. the staff member forced us to get our stuff out of the room and give him the key. It was like he wanted to give us no choice but to take another room. We told him we would just pile up in the other room we had because in the morning we wanted to talk to the manager and get a refund and go. I didn’t go to sleep that night because I was trying to watch everyone to make sure they didn’t get bit by any bugs. When everyone woke up 2 more people had bites. I was exhausted and irritated. The manager was still not there but the staff member that started the shift call him on the phone. The manager said if you were not happy you should have left the hotel and I said and sleep where in my car. We cam with 12 people and 3 were 1, 6 and 7 year old. He did not care that they had bedbugs saying that it’s not his fault the people staying there brought them. The whole thing was unprofessional. He ended up charging us for a half a day for the room they were in for 3 hours and charging a full day for the one we had to pile in which obviously had bed bugs too because 2 people got bit in there also and the rooms where on 2 separate floors so I’m sure the whole building has them. Days Inn took forever to refund us for the other days we didn’t stay. In my personal opinion we should have gotten a full refund for the inconvenience. The manager did say that he was going to get someone out there to check it out and I would be getting an email from that company, which I never got. I’m just going to assume that they never called anyone out and other people will be having the same experience that I did..

The entrance doesn't look inviting. Though the lobby looks updated and clean, unfortunately the rooms aren't. They have modern photos on the wall but the curtains and furniture need to be replaced and carpeting need to be deep cleaned or replaced. It looked like an attempted upgrade but definitely cutting some corners. The so called parking lot look sketchy....not affiliated with the hotel but the only convenient spot...there's a man who has a hand held machine that can swipe your card to pay for the parking but he was there sometimes and there is a machine but exact money only it doesn't give change back. Definitely a place with some potential if the owners would invest their money to really spruce it up.

Yes they had random people always hanging outside but for the most part everyone was nice and didn’t bother us much. The rooms we had were way bigger than expected so that was a plus! Decor and cleanliness wise it wasn’t amazing but again, if you just need the basics then you can make it work. Parking was kind of annoying because we had to pay at the lot next door but it was 40 for the weekend. But it was right next to the beach and the board walk which gave it another star for me.

Screwed up our reservation, the rooms are a throw back from the 50s and that's not in a good way. The door to our room had been kicked open and not repaired, our bathroom ceiling leaked when they used the shower, and the air conditioner that looks to be from the 50s also did not work and if that wasn't enough they over charged our credit card $900. The steel pier is a main attraction. It cost $12 per person. Tried funnel cake here. There are restaurants with seafood too. Bars n beach bars are available. If u are a gamer, try ur hand on something in the casinos. Car parking is near the beach. Open till 10pm during summers. Carry cash here to buy things at shops and also to play at casinos.
