I got abrasions in the knee due to the use of regular rubber shoes, where spiky shoes are recommended since the part of the ledge is slippery due to the moss. There is a wall climbing activity beside the Taktak Falls, and beside the wall climb is the old elevator shaft still operational. Since Antipolo is a Highland, the central park is 20 meters below, where you need to go down the stairs. The central park is wide, but be wary of the foul odour emitted by the Hinulugang Taktak Falls as the river beneath the Falls is bubbly, indicating that the water is highly polluted. There were gazebos on the other side of the river for group resting place. The swimming pool is available, but under maintenance as of my visit on Dec 8, 2024.

We got there early but the weather was not inclement so we waited for the rain to let up a bit. Our tourism officer, Marjun, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had helmets on for the tricky cave-like sections of the trail. It's quite a steep ascent but the view from above was stunning! After the hike, we were handed ice-cold towels (badly needed!) and bowls of delish arroz caldo and tea and coffee. Wonderful experience and a must for every outdoor enthusiasts. We learn about flora and fauna and the georeserve's mission. Always happy to support good causes!

The pictures on the website projects a different feel. It also advertises being a 3 hour ride but we were able to finish it in 2.5hrs even with two kids on our backs. Most of the time spent on the last part. You get to the end of the "trail" where you have to pay a very cheap fee to enter a restaurant/campsite with a view of the mountains and Wawa Dam. This was optional by the way so if you did not avail of this it was only those random village "trails". The view is actually nice although I did not need an ATV to get there. I gave it a 3/5 because the kuya trail guides were accommodating and nice. The experience wasn't particularly bad just underwhelming, although good for first timers to get a feel of riding an ATV.
