It can be a touch windy outside but they have both indoor and outdoor wine enjoying spaces. The Rosé is a particular standout and worth taking home. Flavorful without being overt. Quite good. Rich wooden interior with nice seating spaces, plenty of affordable wine on display, bits and bites if you’re hungry, and very personable staff all round out the experience. There was one other party who was seated outside, and then there was us, seated inside. We did not think our toddler would be a cause for concern considering the circumstances. Our first indication that it might not be a super friendly environment for us should have been that it isn’t a dog friendly establishment. If a winery is not dog friendly, you really shouldn’t be surprised if it’s also not kid friendly either. However, they don’t explicitly say “21+ only” or “no children, please”, so we were a bit put off to say the least. They were also pretty pricey…like $30 for a half baguette, a small sample of cheese and a chutney pricey. If you’re in the area, wanting a few options with good wine, or good views, or good vibes, or all of the above, then I would recommend Damiani, Idol Ridge or Lamoreaux in lieu of this winery.

It is fascinating to see just how different each vineyard expresses itself in the wine. I really can't recommend this winery enough. The wines and experience are always fantastic. I've introduced several people to Silver Thread over the years and they've always loved it as well.
