It's a great family park with lots to do. The roller Coaster has been down a few years, but the carousel is usually up and running (it was down last week during our field trip) but my favorite thing to do is ride the train around the park and look at the beautiful scenery. There's a beautiful waterfall and a pond full of ducks and geese. You can buy bird food at the pond for a quarter. It's fun for little ones to feed the wildlife, but sometimes the park is covered in duck or geese poop. My daughter and I both came home last week needing to clean our shoes and I thought I was being extra careful not to step in it. So watch out for that, but it's not always that way. Just don't wear your best shoes ;) There's also a splash pad here that we've never used. Lots to do for free or you can pay to enjoy the rides. They're just a few dollars each.

This is a great little home-style/country food restaurant that clearly cares about the quality of their food. We had our work Christmas party there for about 30 people and they made it really special. It was decorated beautifully, the staff was so friendly and organized. The food was all delicious! He is also not in denial about his behavior towards me stating on August 18, 2025 in a recent conversation that I should sue him because he would gladly get on the stand & let everyone know what he knows about me & how he FEELS about me. However as a judge your feelings are not ALLOWED to guide you in conducting your judicial obligations. Rosser acts as if he is a Christian man who has a superior moral compass that he follows. However his actions are not so superior & far from morally upright. Reminds me of a verse where Jesus specifically addresses hypocrisy in John 8:7, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone. Over the last 3 years, I have had 4 interactions with Rosser when trying to register a vehicle where he has refused me my legal rights & legal obligation to do so. In AL, it is required that you register your vehicle in the county you live in & by him denying me the service, he is preventing me from following the law. He has went as far as sending title work back to the dealership telling them not to do business with me & refusing service in his county. He has also sent a personal tag that I paid for back to the tag plant when his office received it so that I could not pick it up. I have called him in a civil manner every time to try to resolve any issues. Every time he has cussed, name-called, acted irrationally & made it clear that he would abuse his judicial power & not allow me to register vehicles in HIS county. AND if he did decide to grant me my right, it would be on his terms & his determination how many vehicles he would allow. He uses vulgar language throughout the entire recorded calls. Meanwhile, I did not disrespect him trying to remain civil stating that I live in Colbert County & need register my vehicles without any issues. I have reached out to a mutual friend of ours in hopes to resolve this matter and remind him that he legally can't deny my services. I am doing everything I can to prevent this from going further, but Rosser has stood his ground feeling complacent in his position. The odd thing about all of this is that I have never had any other interactions with him personally outside of these issues. He has simply passed judgment on me without knowing me. However, as a judge you are held to a high standard of conduct & have an ethical duty to ensure business is administered FAIRLY & WITHOUT BIAS. A probate judge is expected to avoid even the appearance of impropriety in all their activities, both professional & personal. Your personal feelings & beliefs are not to influence judicial conduct. Judges are expected to avoid behavior that is abusive or inappropriate. I have given Rosser many opportunities to correct his actions & allow me my rights, but he is so obviously complacent in his judicial position that he feels he will not face consequences. His reckless, illegal & unethical conduct has caused so much stress, embarrassment & financial loss. I can't continue to allow this. I know others have dealt with the same behavior & that is why I am writing this review. I included a few Bible verses for you about hypocrisy, judgment, & forgiveness to remind you that your actions are certainly not aligned with Christian values in which you promote yourself politically. If you read 1 of those verses & are not ashamed of your behavior towards me & my family, maybe you should consider the political stance you run on. We all will stand before the ultimate judge who is God (not you). He is the one you will explain your actions to. The Bible clearly states it is better for one to have not known the way of righteousness at all than for one to know through Christ & still fall into the corruption of sin (2 Peter 2:20).
