That being said, it is fun if you enjoy a moderate, just under a mile walk upon uneven slabs to get to the lighthouse itself. Saw many families out with their kids, even a couple jogged past with their dachshund (so cute in his vest). I would advise caution and being weather aware before and during your trip. We went as a little storm was blowing up the coast and definitely took our time against the wind to ensure steady footing. For the price of the lobster dinners as well as the price of any nearby hotel stay, you could certainly buy a hell of a lot of lobsters right close to wherever your home is.
