I even wound up on one trail that had all these cute fairy rocks in little doors and stuff surrounding a tree and it was like a little tiny colony of fairies and there was one rock that was a door like it opened into an enchanted forest. but anyways I came here to exercise and I definitely give it a thousand stars I also noticed that they had a playground for children it's not huge but it definitely would get the truck done. In the bathrooms for being a public park are actually pretty freaking clean.

I love riding the small bridge overlooking Dona Bay and Roberts. The subtropical scenery is delightful and I also enjoy seeing all the kinds of bikes that traverse the trail. We have a local hero on the trail who has ridden over 100,000 miles just on the Legacy and is now working on his second hundred thousand - the unofficial Mayor of the Legacy! I often ride from my home, but there are easy places to park and ride: Culverhouse Nature park has a parking lot next to the trail. We arrived around 9ish am and got a nice spot at the beach and really took advantage of the many shells that were ashore. There’s quite a lot of parking space so if you don’t want to arrive early to secure a spot, you won’t have to. The day of our visit, the water was super clear and it was the perfect weather for boating so they were pretty much everywhere, oh and jet skis too. Some of it is paved some is packed shell, I think. It is very well maintained. The path is 8 feet wide allowing for easy passing should you be riding a bike or people are walking multiple dogs. The trail also has exercise stations along the way, including things for kids to do as well. A couple of little bridges, a small playground, 2 covered pavilions for parties and the lake with a viewing station. That about sums up the Conservatory on paper. The devil is in the details though. The 10-acre lake is sparkling with dozens of turtles, birds, fish, and alligators, including little baby gators. The pier on the lake is right by the mail entrance and has two picnic benches and is large enough to handle different groups of people without crowding there is also a water spigot with bowls for thirsty dogs. It is quiet and peaceful and a great place to sit and ponder. The larger of the two covered pavilions is just a little further down the path connected with a view of the playground and play area. The path itself winds through part of a 55-acre nature preserve with a second entrance about connected.
