Most of the positive reviews are hyped by the expat/snowbird gringo crowd and resort-zone tourists who think this is “good” only because they haven’t eaten outside their comfort bubble. As a Canadian, I’m embarrassed that so many fellow Canadians think this is “good". This isn’t Mexican cuisine. It’s the ghost of Mexican cuisine. All the soul, spice, and character have been completely wiped out. It’s overrated on a level that’s almost insulting. There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance that will serve you far better food without even trying. This place isn’t worth your time, money, or curiosity.

The oceanfront rooms are the most expensive but I’d advise against them as they are the smallest and dirtiest as there is a large gap under the door. The first room we checked into the floor was covered in bugs and hair and all the lamps need to be replaced they are no dirty. I was travelling with my mom who is mobility limited and often used a wheel chair but I would recommend not coming to this resort if you have trouble getting around and it was really hard. The air conditioning was excellent and the best I’ve experienced in a room in Mexico. I would t say completely avoid but be aware what you are getting and don’t expect a 4+ star experience.

Dam that’s a painful spot. They were so respectful of my privacy and knew I was so uncomfortable being so exposed. They tried to keep me covered up and a warm blanket on me too. They also made sure my personal belongings, like jewelry and clothes all stayed next to me and they let my husband stay with me too. Everyone was so nice, respectful, caring, and supportive. Then I got moved to a room for 3 days. Wow the room was big and nice! Very clean, quite, and private. My GI doctor Fernando he was great and spoke good English. I needed help. I went to this hospital with no knowledge of Spanish or really the Mexican healthcare system. I wasn't sure what to expect. The irony here is that I am an ER Doc in the States. I knew what I wanted, I knew what I needed, but wasn't sure if I could get it. I walked into the clinic and was seen by Dr Daniel Delgadillo Ordaz within five minutes. He spoke perfect English and understood what needed to happen. I didn't need to tell him what I thought because he was doing everything perfectly. I was in the CT scanner within another 10 minutes and had my results and was walking out the door within an hour. The facility was very modern, had all of the equipment necessary, the reception staff were pleasant and knew what to do, and the doctor was exceptional. I was quite impressed. I paid less for the visit than I did for dinner for my family a few days ago. I will submit that to insurance for reimbursement. Overall very impressed and would recommend highly if you are in Bucerias and hurt or ill.

I'm content watching her do the work really, something about fire amuses me, and you get to wear these dystopian/steampunk looking cool glasses when you are doing it, that's almost worth the price alone. With all the tours people do on holiday, it's great to actually learn something new and unique, especially so if it's some art form that you can take up, and continue when you get back home. Hans and Irene dumped their busy glass shops back in Canada to retire here and teach us how to do neat stuff with glass, and I am glad for that.
