Although a bit off the beaten track, but quiet, well maintained and staff are well pretty good. My only 2 little gripes. 1. There is not enough recycle bins around the place, particularly for bottles and cans, mostly just RED bins that go straight to landfill. They should double up on the bins and next to every Red Bin put a recyclable bin right next to it. I see it in all the other NRMA parks so why not here? 2. My second grip is, I have stayed at at least 20 NRMA Parks within the last 12 months. Every single Park sends you a SMS the night before saying would you like to extend your stay, typically at a discounted rate (around $10 off). I went to extend my stay by 1 day this morning and even got charged 10% more ! I questioned the SMS and the lady concerned said, and I quote " Well we are so busy we just do not care - We have 108 bookings for the weekend" Well not very good business guys. You may have 108 for the weekend but today 29/10/2025, the park is nearly empty. Lucky if 20 people would be here (apart from full timers). Just think that is a really poor attitude and attitude by certain staff members and procedures should be addressed by management.

Very very clean, beautifully presented, plenty of room and great secure yards for our poodle. We loved how you could keep the gate shut to the giant yard and use the courtyard with smaller lawn area. It was so much fun exploring the cottage as the cupboards had dvds to watch, books to look at, games and so much more. So generously well equipped with everything that you might need in both bathroom and kitchen, there is nothing that Mary Lou hasn't thought of!! It was my son's 1st birthday and I'm so glad we decided to celebrate this way. He LOVED it! And so did my partner, Mum and Aunty (and me of course!). A great experience for all ages for sure. We were cautious while exploring the tunnel cave section, as we didn’t have a flashlight, and the rocks were slippery. There was also the chance of snakes. We stepped in a bit, but didn’t go too deep into the cave. The trail itself stretches about 6–7 km through forested terrain. You walk over rocky paths and soft, spongy plant layers that sometimes feel like there’s empty space underneath—like walking on nature’s cushion. It’s peaceful, and at times slightly challenging, but incredibly rewarding. We saw so many koalas along the way, which was absolutely heartwarming! And towards the end of the trail, a family of kangaroos appeared right in front of us. While we’re used to seeing wallabies, encountering these larger kangaroos was something else; so powerful and graceful. This walk is something I highly recommend. It’s quiet, occasionally demanding, and gives you the feeling of walking on ancient lava flows that shaped this land thousands of years ago. You can truly feel the spirit of the place in every step.
