It hard multiple things for the toddlers, children, teens, and adults. The lazy river was so relaxing and not a lot going on. The kids seem to have respect if they see an adult chillin. They also just made anew area for the babies like 1 to 5 or 7 and a little wave pool for them which I thought was great! There seems to be more chairs and stuff to sit. Not a lot of cover but definitely chairs. The only problem is the amount of money it is especially for a child that only wants to be in the lazy river and no rides but its ok I definitely would recommend this to hang out and chill for the day!

Fast forward to Pah Rah Park since that's what this review is about. I'm not the first to say it's a great park. Easy to get to, plenty of parking both in the lot and on the school side entrance. There are more than a dozen picnic tables and 5 play structures for those young and young at heart. Two horseshoe pits along with a couple of fenced in tennis courts and basketball courts. The park is adjacent to an elementary school but it's kept separate by a fence, so no worries about your pet accidentally getting into the school. Pah Rah Park is literally a breath of fresh air for two and four legged visitors. Not stepping over anyone or having to watch if children or pets accidentally come into contact with potentially infectious or hazardous materials. Not all is perfect. Yes, there will always be those irresponsible pet owners who don't pick up after their pets, even at Pah Rah Park. So watch your step especially in the grassy areas. It's state law folks to clean up after your pets. Nevada has been able to keep it's public parks healthy and for those like myself have fled what's become of the Golden State, DON'T forget why you left.

It does many things very well. It is very clean and extraordinarily quiet at night. Staff is great and helpful. BUT, these sites are so incredibly close together that it is obvious that maximizing park revenue was the primary concern, not the comfort of the guests. You only get 10 or so feet of “front yard before you run into your neighbors trailer. And their electrical pedestal is right in the middle of your patio and their sewer clean out is just off to the side. Having said that, for as tight as it is, it works relatively well. The artificial turf at the sights is pretty much gross at this point and the fact that there is no dog potty spots outside of the 3 dog runs on the perimeters makes getting dogs to the potty in the middle of the night an ordeal, and sometimes impossible. It feels that most guests are seasonal and working folks which probably explains the quiet nights. There are vehicles everywhere and many guests have two vehicles per site that are Tetrised in wherever they fit. Would I go back? Absolutely, and I’ll probably keep complaining about how tight it is, but it’s about as good as it gets in Reno. I just wish they would have given a little extra space and charged a little more. There is a market in Reno for someone to open a top tier park that puts guest comfort first even if it comes at a premium. While this park is nice, it is not that.

The only negative I have is that the park itself is tiny. It is a pretty tight fit so hauling in there is a little difficult. Especially to less experienced RV owners like myself. It is better suited for smaller rigs. My trailer is 37 feet and it did get tight. However, there are a lot of rigs in there that were bigger than mine. Overall, 10 out 10 recommend.

Drugs and crime were happening every day. Since Kelly has taken over the laundry room has been updated and the park is starting to be a decent place to live. I have offered Kelly to put up camera's and use our internet for the better of the park. We all live here for one reason or another and we need to do a better job of taking care of each other and management to keep this a safe and secure environment not only for seniors that live here but the families with children as well.
