They are a wildlife sanctuary that rescues animals. It is about a 30 minute drive from Ensenada, Mexico. The place is literally in the middle of nowhere so if you take an Uber from the Ensenada cruise terminal be sure to get the phone number or contact of your Uber driver which is much cheaper than a taxi for sure. We got an Uber for US $13.50 and yes for a full half hour it took for the ride. The taxis at the terminal were charging about $80.!! The park itself is small compared to any zoo in the US but has many animals. For about US $103 per person it paid for not only admission but also up close encounter with three of the tigers/jaguars they had rescued. The best was with a 2 month old tiger. So awesome! We had a personal guide the entire time and yes , there was a disclaimer we had to sign before they allowed us to be in with the animals, in case they decided we would be lunch I suppose! At all times there was a trainer with the animals we were in with. Very safe and we had a great time! Our guide Gabriel was totally awesome and full of so much information. Well worth the trip!
