Our group mostly went for breakfast and I had the full pantry, which was delicious and everything you would expect from a full English breakfast. I’ve been here previously (a few years ago) and it’s always been high quality and really good. But it appears to have gone downhill. The eggs were very burnt and my friend had shell in hers. My bacon was pretty much raw on one side and burnt as hard as wood on the other and my eggs were also burnt. My friend had eaten about 2/3 of hers before finding egg shell so she was told she can’t have a refund because she had eaten too much, she explained that she didn’t start eating the egg and find the egg shell and how burnt it was underneath until then. But they wouldn’t give me a refund either and they couldn’t say I had eaten too much of it so they didn’t even give me a real reason why I couldn’t have a refund. Their attitude towards us wasn’t great. They were immediately defensive and I got the vibe that they were told to refuse refunds no matter what. We were very polite about it and they acted like we were chancers and our reasons weren’t valid. The eggs were absolutely cremated and inedible. The manager tried to say that we should have said straight away when they brought it out… so my friend was supposed to find shell in her egg without touching the food? A lot of the issues were hidden until we started getting through it. We never complain when going out for food but it really was awful. It would have been nice if it was cooked properly and more care taken but it was cooked appallingly. Not what you expect when paying £10 for a breakfast that I couldn’t even eat. Will never visit again.

There are some independent shops around the food court, a hairdresser, a soft play area, a vintage sweet shop, a place selling brownies (they had some tasters yesterday and their brownies are gooey and not sickly sweet!!! I will order next time I go for sure as I already ordered from Ostuni for my sweet craving of the day!), a guy selling cheesecakes in a jar, a Welsh cakes shop, a place selling healthy food and drinks, some businesses are upstairs I believe. The doughnut place is popular with kids, they are huge, fluffy and colourful. The icing/decorations are visually amazing! I've tried the thai food place and loved their sticky rice bowl. They were straight to the point and very understanding and put a note on the account giving us a refund (they did offer to send us another pot of paint but it was time sensitive so we just wanted to get some other paint that was the right colour to match our fencing) so we went back in and told the lady that CS had been amazingly helpful and apologetic and that they were happy for us to get a refund and take the issue up with cuprinol. So when we tell Kath this she was really rude and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience or being understanding she said we didn't deserve it and she was reticent to give us our money back, she then suggested that we were not entitled to it as we didn't know how to use it. So then, she is like, I need the pot of paint to give you the refund to which we said CS had not asked for it as it was no longer sellable and as she stated previously "it has to be binned" if not she would not give us our refund. We didn't want to argue the point as all we wanted was to go and paint whilst the weather was really good. So yeah, we were mind blown at the shear lack of understanding/empathy and terrible customer service provided by Kath. My wife was so disheartened by the whole situation as all she wanted was to be able to paint our 3 year old's Wendy house with a similar colour paint as the fence which was no where near the colour on the tin. This took up most of our afternoon so we barely managed to get any painting done and for the sake of £11.40 we had to walk away with a bitter taste of Toolstation, not wanting to ever deal with them again.

One of my friend loves the taco place (small portions for the price for my liking but I'll have to try them one of these days) Another friend tried the Greek place and she liked it, although having a plate would have made the experience even better as it was difficult to mix her salad in the bowl filled to the brim! The doughnut place is popular with kids, they are huge, fluffy and colourful. The icing/decorations are visually amazing! I've tried the thai food place and loved their sticky rice bowl. I've seen other tables order pizzas and burgers and they look so good, so that'll be on my list to try next! There is a bar/cocktail place too. Yesterday I saw a waiter walk past with a pastel purple coloured cocktail with some candy floss, that I am curious about now 😂

We came into the premises with my fiancé’s puppy which is a service dog in training. Suddenly a lady in a christmas jumper with long blonde hair ( I can assume a manager due to her outfit ) came up to us and told us to leave the premises as dogs aren’t allowed in unless they are assistance dogs. She then stood there pretending to make herself look like she was busy whilst watching my partner which made him uncomfortable. My partner has a service dog due to anxiety aswell as a liver disease , due to not only how the lady spoke to him in a tone and watching him , it caused him to become uncomfortable which is why he shut down and didn’t state that the dog was a service animal. He left the store and I continued to do the rest of the shopping on my own whilst filled with rage over the way she had spoken to my partner. If the lady had spoken in more of a calm and polite tone , my partner would be able to reply with the fact the puppy is a service dog in training but due to her actions it made him uncomfortable and caused him to shut down which resulted in him not responding. I hope this lady is spoken to due to her actions and maybe some staff training could be done to help workers approach people with disabilities, disorders and mental conditions a lot better as service dogs are not pets but a helping aid for those who need it. Pushing an individual to the point of being uncomfortable simply for having an aid is appalling behaviour.

I went in a month ago searching for a suit for my wedding in Malaga in September and was expecting the usual ‘don’t really care cos I’m paid by the hour regardless’ staff, luckily that couldn’t be further from the truth. Next like a lot of highstreet stores is typically viewed as a place you go, try on and buy off the shelf kind of company with as little to no interaction as possible. Being British, the slightly more reserved culture, where you don’t want to disturb or inconvenience someone, usually kicks in when you go to a store so this also aligns with my preconceived thoughts. I walk in and start looking at colours and this lovely lady, Lisa, comes over and asks if I need assistance. Not having a clue what I was looking for, she takes the reins. Not only does she assist in what colour, style and theme I was trying to achieve but also she knew the exact size I was before even asking. It turns out she’s worked for Next for 30 years and was a professional suit tailer in years gone by. What an absolute find! Over the course of an hour and 15 minutes Lisa told me what did and didn’t work and as I was finding the suits for 5 others, she swiftly located all the requested sizes and ordered these to a store more local to me. I left and phoned my wife to be and said how unusual it was to find such customer service here in the UK. Fast forward 28 days, 2 of the garments didn’t fit the other members of the party and I then had to replace these. One of them was in store so no problem. The other was a size 48L jacket which was unavailable on their system. Not only was it unavailable at the store, online it was unavailable too. A bit of an issue as if that didn’t fit we’d have to change the whole colour scheme to account for that size. In comes Alison. Alison and Lisa (dream team) now Individually check each store from Southampton to London, Liverpool to Bath and spend hours on the phone trying to locate this jacket. Not only that but a waist coat which wasn’t in stock either. I left the store hopeful but not confident. Fast forward a couple of hours and I get a call saying that both have been found and are being sent by courier to arrive the following week. Phenomenal customer service, truly went the extra mile and an all round unmatched experience. Will I use Next in the future? Yes. Will I choose this outlet over any other? Yes.
