The location was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. The price of the room included breakfast, which was decent. Sadly we got cold food on our second day (even after it was remade it was still cold). We had some other issues with the room during our stay (housekeeping related) which we brought to the attention of the desk staff twice. Both times we were assured that they would discuss with their manager and someone would reach out to us. No one ever did. Over all the property is very nice and likely we would stay again. It was just disappointing that no one seemed to truly take ownership for our experience there.

Service was quick, the dining room was comfortable, a bit loud as others have noted, but added to the atmosphere. The highlight though was the food! My husband had the country fried steak and it was the thickest piece of country fried steak I’ve ever seen, and I had the hot brown. I’ve always been hesitant to order it in restaurant, but I saw one on a plate as we were led to our table and decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did! They also had a specialty drink menu. Since it was fall, I went for the apple cider mule, and it was very yummy! I look forward to going back again and trying some other items on the menu.

Get there early- they are very busy. Go to website and purchase tickets, you pick them up when you arrive. You're instructed where to board according to train car. Station staff are very friendly and helpful. It appears that handicapped persons could use the train but some might have difficulty. When seated your salad is already on the table. Servers then go introduce themselves to each of their tables. There is a small center aisle with a table seating 4 on each side (cozy but it works). Each car also has a small bathroom. Servers are amazing, constantly moving & are attentive to your needs. They do a fantastic job! The food was very good. As you eat the train rolls gently for 20+ miles, stops, then returns in reverse. You travel out of town through residential & farmland wth distilleries. They have a sound system in each car but couldn't hear it for the passengers. Around a two hour excursion with plenty of time to enjoy your meal & companions. There is no smoking/vaping on board or on property. When you disembark you can go through their gift shop, use the bar or use the station bathroom.

I was here on a quiet night. The server was friendly and it was a casual service atmosphere. The $23 pasta entree I ordered was tasty but a light portion. Yes, we dined here when it was the fall festival, but it wasn’t busy when we arrived. We were seated “outside“. Eating “outside“ provided us the opportunity to share our meal with several black flies wanting to share our meal with us. So, if you, gentle reader, have the choice to dine here, I would recommend eating inside. All in all, we won’t be coming back. At least we tried this place and now we know we won’t be coming back, sadly.

My sweet and sour chicken , no vegetables, only 5 pineapple chunks, which were below the chicken so initially I didnt notice them. A terrific portion of sauce and chicken chunks, but just strange to have a plastic fork and styrofam plate when your dining in and having to pour the food out of containers onto a small plate. Typically, sweet & sour anywhere I've gone has chunks of onion, green pepper and pineapple. Chinese food seems to always have a wonderful vegetable addition and even the fried rice has scrambled egg, and minced vegetable bits. This was just plain yellow rice. Everything was tasty enough, but the whole atmosphere and presentation was just lacking .

Dairy Queen used to flip the blizzards upside down and then hand them over with a napkin or two wrapped around them back in the day, but I guess those days are gone. We had a 10-minute drive home, maybe even a moment or two less, and the blizzard pretty much immediately started to melt down the sides of the cup. I had other things in my grasp and in my lap, so continually trying to wipe up all of the dessert that was starting to flow down the cup became pretty much impossible. I had to grab for the only thing I could reach within arms length in the car to catch the drippings, and that was an empty Amazon box. By the time I got home you couldn't even see the blue of the blizzard cup because it was soaked. The blizzard soaked through the box and onto my lap as well. By this time I was over it, so it immediately went in the trash. Any time I get a craving for something sweet and frozen, I'll take the trip a couple of extra minutes up the road and go to Baskin Robbins. Quit being cheap and give your customers napkins with their sweet treats like you used to, or put lids on things. And hire people that don't need to be plugged into the wall every day for a charge up like Mr. Robot that we encountered.

Our truck broke down and I talked to two mgrs about leaving it there until I got paid so we could tow it . This last incident takes the cake you all. We were approached by a animal control officer. He stated a employee called in and said we had chickens in the back of our truck and our cats in the cab. No chickens and we explained we travel for work and they go with us. One of us is always with them. I offered him the number of the officer of our hometown so he could verify that she gave me one of the cats and how well we take care of them. He declined and said he believed me and closed the report. They intentionally lied to the officer about us. To make a elderly senior with congestive heart failure and lupus to stress to this extent is detrimental to my life and well bing. I spoke to hime office and the ethics committee about this. They need to be retrained and held accountable. If not than they need to be fired. My next step will be to see what a court of law can teach them
