Access through ferry from poole harbour unless you've a boat and im guessing there's considerations even if you do. Ferry was 15 return per person and these go every 30 minutes and stop at 5 pm with a break at lunchtime. The island is reasonably flat with paths around. The north of the island is more concerned with bird watching. The south of th island is more to do with the scout movement. There is a tea and snack stand near the scout shop. The national trust owns most of the island and there a further cost of around £10 to go in. Very beautiful and tranquil and worth checking out. There is also a small bus you can take around the island.

Caught the ferry, on the Quay opposite Tesco Express, at £14.50 each. We visited on a weekday. We loved all the exhibits and there has been definitely alot of money spent to improve the lighting and the exhibit displays. There is level access through the front door and plenty of space in the reception/gift shop area with very helpful staff on the till. There is a map by the door to the galleries showing what is on each level of the museum and that includes the toilets, of which there were a couple of fully wheelchair accessible toilets, although no changing places toilet. The major barrier if you are a wheelchair user like I am or have problems opening heavy doors is the complete lack of automatic opening doors to the galleries. There were two sets of fire doors to the Shipwreck gallery on level 0 and then one set of heavy fire doors to the level one gallery and each of the other galleries on the floors above that. There was one very helpful staff member in the Shipwreck gallery but no members of staff in the other galleries to help open the doors which is a huge letdown considering the amount of money spent. Thankfully I had my husband with me to open doors for me but without that it would have been impossible to visit any of the galleries above the ground floor as I couldn't guarantee access to the galleries. When we visited it wasn't that busy especially above the ground floor so there were not many visitors around who could have helped me either. Even if for some reason due to fire safety they could only have heavy non automatic fire doors, then surely a staff member on each floor to open doors, to answer any queries or in the event of a medical emergency or a fire be there to help, would have been really helpful. If you are in one of the galleries above the ground floor and have a medical emergency or there is a fire then there would be no member of staff to help you right away. The lift to all the floors is a decent size and that was good as the previous lift before the renovation work began was tiny. Sorry if this review sounds negative as I don't mean it too, it is just how I view the museum from the point of view of a wheelchair user and the concerns that I have.

We're pretty experienced mountain bikers but this would suit just about anyone (since you can power up the hills in turbo-ebike mode) and Peter was brilliant at gauging your skill level and adapting the ride/route to suit everyone's level. The morning of the ride there should of been 2 other people but when I met Peter he told me it’s only going to be me .. initially my heart sunk … I do have my own E-bike and do go out most weekends but was a little nervous Peter may not get his best workout with me tagging along .. 😏 I was pleasantly surprised Peter reassured me of all the health and safety and made sure the bike was set up for me .. Communication with Beth on the lead up to the event was perfect answering my questions and giving plenty of information about the room hire. We were given enough time to set up before guests arrived and accommodated us and suppliers like our Photo Booth really well. The bar staff: Katie, Zeynep and Lana looked after us throughout the event and brought the best vibes to the party. Lots of guests commented on how amazing the staff were. It is located on floor 8 in the hilton hotel. Staff was ultra friendly and they suggested nice drinks. I reslly enjoyed the taste of their spirits snd the quality of the ingredients they use. To be honest the way how they make drinks remind me of a begginner version of the alchemist in terms of being showy but in terms of mixing stuff and achieving great flavours, they are one of the bests. Apart from the mentioned above, the views from Level8 are amazing. You can pretty much see the whole town centee without much effort, being there makes you feel at peace as well. They have quite a big drinks menu so you can always try something new and enjoy a new flavour, they also offer a few dishes to nibble on and they are very elegant and classy up there.

The place looks nice but the staff were not organised at all. There was live music, a pianist, when we arrived at 8pm, which was lovely. They had a band from 9pm and that was nice as well but the it was just way too loud for such a small space. We couldnt hear each other at all thats why we left early. Also Im really disappointed as we had cocktails, the first time they charged us £27 for 2 cocktails the second time they charged us £30.38 for the same 2 cocktails. Im really disappointed of the fact that the waiter over charged us. I will make an official complaint as this should not happen. It seems once you have a drink they think they can overcharge you.

First impression was good was a little annoyed they had given away out table as was running 5 mins late, but they placed us by the window on a bar table and that's was okay. The waiters appeared to be attentive initially but I did have to prompt them several time for our tea and are last pot just nether even got served to the table. The afternoon tea itself was okay they had changed the menus that week so was surprised when they brought out a very different selection to what was on the menus on line, which resulted in half our sandwiches not being eaten, if we had know there was horseradish and beef we would have asked for an alternative instead. The puddings and scones where exceptional and the scones where even warm! Overall a very enjoyable experience would consider going again but for £22 a head plus a service charge they snuck on the bill It is very expensive for what you get and the view isn't that great.

Andrew and Sarah who own and run the business personally delivered the tour, and their passion and expertise came across from the outset. The environment is relaxed and the setting is beautiful. The tour ended with a generous wine tasting session and we were blown away by the quality of the wine. It is exceptional, easily better than the vast majority of Champagne you’ll ever have.
