Great place to visit. I always like to visit whenever I go to Gozo. A must place to visit is the Inkwina workshop where you can see the manufacture of art from metal. The concept is quite original and innovative. The owner is super nice.
The Crafts village has also other good places to visit such as jewellery, food sellers and leather products. Recommended.
The place could do with some investment to embellish the area. Otherwise the place is quite unique.

Fantastic view. Although there is road works, we were lucky to meet local guy who advised us not to be afraid of the fence. And just go around it. See the photos. I would be afraid to do so at working day, as the workers would not probably allow us to pas the fence and the dozer, also see photos. This paid off a lot! Very nice view from the top. And in February when all the flowers smell so nice , it was fantastic visit. Lighthouse is not accessible, btw.

This place deserves more care from the Gozo officials. The path up there is in horrible state (it looked like they might be building wider and tarmac road?) Place itself is full of rubbish (as many other places all over Malta). I would recommend building better road/path up there and keep the area cleaner. I was the onl visitor. Bought the Cittadella Combo Ticket. €13 adults/ €9 seniors and students with proof of student ID / €7 children under 11. This price bought entrance to the Cittadella Visitor’s Center, Gozo Museum of Archaeology, The Old Prison, Gozo Nature Museum and the Gran Castello Historic House. All of these places were visited and the grounds were walked within a period of two and a half hours without any stops for bathroom, coffee or food. There are plenty of bathrooms and areas to eat, drink or snack.
The Old Prison is a rather small exhibit with a wealth of information. It is well worth visiting to learn who was held here, why, when, and how they lived. There is a small gift shop near the entry. It took twenty minutes to walk through the exhibit during an off season.

Bought the Cittadella Combo Ticket. €13 adults/ €9 seniors and students with proof of student ID / €7 children under 11. This price bought entrance to the Cittadella Visitor’s Center, Gozo Museum of Archaeology, The Old Prison, Gozo Nature Museum and the Gran Castello Historic House. All of these places were visited and the grounds were walked within a period of two and a half hours without any stops for bathroom, coffee or food. There are plenty of bathrooms and areas to eat, drink or snack.
The Gran Castello Historic House is a walk through of a life. There are bedrooms, kitchens, baby rooms, etc. if you enjoy period furniture and imagining the lives of the people before you, then you will enjoy this exhibit.
You must traverse steps. We went on an off season so there wasn’t that much traffic but during high tourist period I can imagine it would be more difficult to get past people in the hallways unless they restrict and control the number of visitors entering and exiting.

This is a charming little museum tucked away in the side streets near the entrance to the basilica in Victoria.
Lovely friendly welcome with a brief explanation particularly of a local artist who had made pictures out of smashed ceramics and glass. These were incredible artistry and such a skill to have to produce such pictures of such high quality.

I only came the once which is a shame as I did think I would have liked to visit more. There was a lovely welcome and I was shown through the (noisy) bar into the restaurant. I chose not to sit facing the enormous TV with football playing! I had the mushroom pizza, which was excellent and a good price and a glass of wine. The service was without fault. A quiet little chapel out in the countryside, with a small picnic area outside offering views across the surrounding farmland and out to the lighthouse and Ta' Pinu basilica beyond.
The chapel itself is fairly plain compared to many bigger churches on Gozo, and the gates were locked when I was there, although the outer door could be opened to have a peek inside through the bars. According to signs nearby, "San Mitri" is the subject of local legends, and was "invoked by devotees to deliver them from abduction by pirates"!
Worth a stop if you're hiking or driving through the area. From here you can carry on to Birbuba to the west or Wied il-Mielaħ to the east.
