Dining at FINO was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lovely vibe that made the evening truly enjoyable.
The food was absolutely top-notch – every dish was a masterpiece! Each plate was delicately and beautifully crafted, with perfect plating, exquisite flavours, and just the right portion sizes.
The staff were attentive and incredibly professional, with the manager and team taking the time to describe each dish as it was served. Their attention to detail was impeccable – they refilled our glasses promptly and replaced our water bottle as soon as it was empty.
Overall, FINO exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service over the busy Easter weekend was Exceptional. Staff were friendly and the kitchen so efficient. We had 4 courses + matched wines with the duck spring rolls added. Even from the bread starter with home made pickled vegetables the food was 10/10.
Fantastic experience. We went to two major wineries for set menu lunches and Fino was hands down the superior and would recommend.

We dined for lunch at Fino, Seppeltsfield on a glorious sunny Thursday. Luckily, I booked as it filled up fairly quickly. The servers that we had were exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. They took time to find out your reason for visiting and had some great recommendations to visit also. The food was phenomenal; we like a feed me menu so asked to be brought out the chef's choice of dishes. Alice chose our menu, and it did not disappoint! The Gnocchi was amazing. We will definitely be back as it was our favourite lunch place to visit, and we tried many on our trip. Thank you!

We had a 6 plate lunch with wine pairing and everything about it was absolutely beautiful. The property (Seppeltsfield Winery) is exquisite with so many areas and stores to admire (Barry at the Little
Knife Shop is a MUST!)
Back to Fino… the staff were super attentive and professional. The food was absolutely delicious. The wine pairings were perfection.
We really enjoyed the complimentary bread and pickled veg. Being a dessert fan, those were the absolute highlight for me, paired with the delicious 10 yo Seppeltsfield Tawny Port - heaven!
I highly recommend visiting Fino for a meal. Allow the time to really take it all in and enjoy!

Wir haben uns für ein 4 Gänge Menü entschieden , mit der Option mit nochmals 2 Gängen zu erweitern. Für jeden Gang gab es jeweils eine Platte zum Teilen. Jeder Teller war sehr schön angerichtet und äusserst gut abgeschmeckt. Came to know of Vasse Virgin as our BNB along with many of the wineries around Barossa use their products. My wife & I decided to drop by to explore their product range as we enjoyed the scent of their soaps.
We ultimately left with a few products of our own, we enjoyed the experience, as well as the service & help we had in store. Would recommend visiting!

Historical site of Seppeltsfield estate vinegar factory that ran from 1882 - 2000. Now transformed into a Vasse Virgin factory. Despite how much we admire the Seppeltsfield wine, they are not easy for travelers (weight, custom duty etc) which make VV’s extra virgin olive oil lotion an excellent souvenir. Allocate time after lunch at Fino to visit.

From the moment you enter the building you are engulfed in an array of lovely aromas. The place is extremely well presented and the staff are really helpful and friendly. You are encouraged to smell, taste and try the variety of different foods and products they have available. There is something for everyone. The products aren't inexpensive but they are made with quality produce and are well presented. I recommended visiting between wine tastings in the area.

I was fortunate to stumble across one of the many beautiful products when visiting the Hayes winery, who very kindly told me where the shop was located in Seppeltsfield.
I entered the shop, and met the most wonderful and welcoming lady with red hair and amazing earrings, (I'm only sorry in my excitement....I forgot your name), who along with the master creator was able to help me find the exact hand cream I was searching for for my SIL, by looking at their records for their winery customer.
I only wish I had more time to experience every creation and could visit you again in my home town of Canberra. But I can always find you online for the best smelling and feeling creations of all.
Sending hugs from the chilly ACT and.....I'll be sure to get back to the valley and to Vasse Virgin. 💚

We have just spent 5 nights at the Retreat and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Wendy was so so helpful through the booking process and with any assistance we needed with regards to things to do around the Barossa.
The Retreat home and the gardens are just so beautiful and so well equipped. Everything has been thought of! This home is great for a couple (like us) but would be suitable for a family or even three couples. The home and property layout means you would never feel like you are ‘on top of each other’.
A very generous amount of groceries were there for our arrival - local bread, milk, eggs, bacon, juice, yoghurt, tomatoes and a beautiful cheese board! Unexpected but oh so appreciated!
It is located very well in the heart of the Barossa. Right next door to Hentley Farm and just around the corner from Seppeltsfield wines and Fino restaurant.
The outdoor dining table is the perfect spot to enjoy a lazy afternoon enjoying the cottage style garden and abundant bird life.
The PERFECT property to enjoy all the Barossa has to offer AND to retreat to for R & R. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

We just had the most wonderful time at the cottage arriving after the most amazing lunch at Fino restaurant just around the corner at Seppeltsfield Winery. It really was a 5 Star stay and we only wish that we could've stayed twice as long. Everything was thought of from special dietary needs, preparation of the fireplace (where all you had to do was light the match), coffee addictions and helpful guides / directions on where to find things or how to operate household items. Even after we'd left we got a call from Jodie to ask us for a mailing address to send back a jumper left behind. And although we were there in late winter the surrounding grounds were immaculately kept with flowers just starting to bloom. It was the perfect stay and sadly may possibly have ruined all other cottages for us - it quite simply exceeded all our expectations including the in house cellar. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit the Barossa. Thank you Jodie

We have just spent the most amazing stay at Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage. We arrived at night from an easy drive from Adelaide airport. We immediately loved the charming decor which reminded me of a European farm house. They have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay feel like home… but in a 5 star environment. The linen, the bath towels, the bathroom amenities, the Bose system, the furniture fabrics, the coffee machine, the jazz CDs, the kitchen crockery (Inside and outside!) and access to the house cellar! … everything has been meticulously selected to create a wonderful home away from home, full of character. The places that came recommended (nearby restaurants, bars, markets and vineyards) were all fabulous and made our stay in the Barossa terrific. The cottage was so good we decided to stay for an extra day as we wanted to enjoy it after a busy couple of days visiting nearby places.
Thanks Jodie for having us at the cottage, we loved it and will recommend it to anyone wanting a special experience. We could not go overseas as planned for our ten year anniversary but The Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and the Seppeltsfield area offer an amazing alternative. An anniversary to remember, thank you.

I highly recommend Hentley Farm winery, one of the better Cellar tasting in the Barossa, you need to book your tasting weeks ahead as they are always busy.
You decide what level of wine you want to try and get comfortable in the original 1850s restored cottage with cheeses, olives, breads and snacks to have while you go through a very good wine selection.
Shirley was our host for the afternoon and she is so passionate and knowledgeable its quite infectious. We tried and bought some of the best wines we have had in a very long time.
If your heading to Adelaide make sure you try to book a tasting at Hentley Farm it's well worth the effort.

Incredible lunch with paired wine experience on Friday. We reserved months ahead of time for 6 of us, and staff were accommodating of multiple dietary restrictions (veg, seafood allergy, no coriander preference).
Exceptional level of service from everyone. All of the food was standout from the fresh vegetables with unreal miso dip (I wish I could buy it in a jar) to the insanely flavoursome broth dish, beef cheeks and dessert, we truly couldn’t pick a favourite as it was all incredible. A couple of us did the wine pairing which I highly recommend as it paired beautifully with the meal.
Highly recommend booking if you are looking for an incredible meal, great wine and fabulous service.

We booked a wine tasting at Hentley Farm based on reading reviews about it being a must-do while in the Barossa. We were NOT disappointed!
You need to book a slot and allow a couple of hours. Our host (Annie I think - apologies, terrible with names) was so accommodating, personable and knowledgeable. She was very attentive but also gave us time and space to enjoy each tasting and the beautiful snacks that were provided.
The grounds and buildings are something to be admired in themselves! If you only do one tasting while in the Barossa - make it a Hentley Farm tasting!

The wine tasting experience and service was exceptional! We arrived on a quiet Tuesday a couple hours early and the staff were more than accomodating to take us in early. The ambience and decor are wonderful inside with the sound of sparrows chirping outside. The staff take time to know you and your pallet preference, they teach you about the local regions and the history of the wines. We loved it and left with some bottles of our favourites.

We made it a point to visit while in Adelaide, because we started our wine journey with wines with Two Hands and it felt special for us! Ariel led us through our wine tasting and she backed up with some history and fun facts of each wine - it was great! Our fav was Ares, two hands down ;) Thanks Ariel! My wife and I spent a lovely afternoon at Sieber Wines with Val as our fantastic hostess.
We’re not wine experts but Val spent the time giving us generous tastings of their whole range, and explaining their range, which was a wonderful experience.
Val is a lovely lady who connected immediately with us, and she shared her experiences and went over and above during our visit. We bought some beautiful wines without feeling any pressure at all in a very relaxing environment.

What a lovely wine tasting experience we had at Sieber Wine with our charming hostess and owner Val. The extensive vineyards are about an hours drive from Adelaide and well worth it. Val took us through the vineyards extensive selection with a generous pour! My unusual favourite was the Piper Lili Viognier, which was going to be an excellent pairing with our Tasmanian cheeseboards. The Ernest Shiraz and GSM were stars although we enjoyed most of them. The ability to cellar the reds for a while was a bonus. I found the prices very reasonable after coming from Coonawarra wine region, but don’t let that deter you wine snobs! We left clutching a carton with details on how to order online. Thank you Val for an informative and most enjoyable afternoon. We will be back!

We had the absolute best experience at Sieber Wines! We were lucky enough to have Val Sieber herself as our host, and what a treat that was. The cellar door is right in her home, which makes it feel so personal and welcoming — you can really tell this is a family-run winery with so much heart.
Val’s stories had us laughing nonstop — at one point I was in tears from laughing so hard! The tasting was free with very generous pours, and every wine we tried was fantastic and so reasonably priced.

I'm so glad we got to visit as Val is an absolutely lovely lady who oozes charm and treats you like an old friend whom she hasn't seen for a long time. We were lucky as we were the only ones there and so it was a very intimate tastings experience. She explained the background stories of each of their wines as you tasted them. As well as, a bit of the overall history of the vineyard. The wines themselves are all amazing and varied - the Ernest Shiraz stands out, but so do they ALL! We had such a fun time with Val and we definitely will visit again on our next visit to the Barossa. Highly recommend this beautiful winery. 💕

Interesting piece of Seppeltsfield history. The view is pretty good, although you can get good view from the road nearby as well. As someone with mobility issues it was very hard going as it is a steep walk. It would have been good if they could at least, at a minimum, put a rail for the steps at the start, or even better a rail all the way up. Certainly not accessible for those in wheelchairs. Probably best only to bother if you are able to easily get up steep paths and not worth the effort otherwise. They have a car park there that fits plenty of cars so parking is not a problem. You can see all the way up from there so it is worth driving to at least.

Superb Gin!
My wife and I visited SRD on New Years Eve 2024 and were warmly greeted by the team, especially Aiden who gave us really good insight about the history of SRD and their story.
We sampled the Bold Botantical Gin flight. The Savoury Allsorts was very unique and would highly recommend. The Navy Strength was awesome, too, but the Barrel Aged Shiraz Gin was just next level! No wonder it won them 99/100 at the international Gin festival. Well deserved.
Absolutely worth a visit whilst you're in the Barossa and need a little break from the wine!

Dropped by SRD for their bold botanical tasting flight on a Thursday afternoon. It was nice and quiet, and the ambience is great.

Fantastic wines, lovely knowledgeable host (Jen). We did the $15 tasting experience but Jen snuck in a couple of extras as they happened to be open and she was feeling generous. Loved this little corner of Barossa with fantastic wine selection and amazing delicious bites. It is all about comfort food and wine and we really loved our time spent with Jeremy the owner who was very generous with his time, his knowledge and his special vintage bottles. The food was scrumptious especially the cooked Camembert, the melted crumpet and the sharing Mediterranean platter.
I would highly recommend New Wave Wines to the ones who want to experience something authentic, tasty, and true to what Barossa has to offer, one of our top stops during this Barossa trip.

I recently visited Barossa Valley State for a winetasting and had a wonderful experience. While the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, I found the food prices to be slightly higher than expected with limited menu options.

I visited this winery more for the beautiful gardens. And beautiful the whole place is.
Including the award winning Rose wine, which was a steal at $8 a glass. I bought a couple of bottles.

OMG, what a find, we went to a concert at Seppeltsfield Winery, and this was the perfect location. The cottage was a mix of modern and rustic, so pretty, the facilities were great, lots of space, and in a quiet location, where all you could hear were birds.
We stumbled on these cottages by accident, solely due to it's proximity to the concert, but will definitely return again. Thanks again for saving us when we had nowhere to stay.

Have stayed here when the main building was a B&B which was fantastic but has now been converted to a cellar door for Greenock Creek Wines and is absolutely perfect for this experience. This was our last stop on a day of wine tasting and an absolutely perfect finish to the day. Tom was very down to earth, and it was great to get the wine maker's personal perspective. An absolute hidden gem in the heart of Barossa.
Chanced upon Curator Wine Co when we were staying in CABN- Chloe (located on the vineyard).
Of all the wine tastings we did at the Barossa valley, this was by far the most personal and enjoyable. It was so enjoyable that we went twice and brought two other friends along the second time. The wine tasting was done by the wine maker himself (Thomas White) and it was an absolute privilege to hear a passion-forward introduction to a boutique vineyard. The stories of his work and thought processes behind the scenes was my favourite part and they were so inspiring that I found wondering if I could be part of the winemaking experience myself on his vineyard (next vintage maybe?).
Besides tasting the current vintage releases, it was the most amazing experience when Tom brought us directly to his workspace where we sampled wine directly from the barrels that were still being aged.
A common theme of the wines at Curator Wine Co was how perfumed it was on the nose, how rich the flavours were on the palate and how smooth the finish was, without the "reflux burn"(if you get what I mean). We were pleasantly surprised to know that the bottles were 14.5% - 15% alcohol percentage because of how easy to drink the wines were.
Through our conversations, we were glad to know that Tom had plans to export his wines into Singapore. We cannot wait and will definitely be on a lookout for Curator Wine Co when it arrives in Singapore.

We just visited Curator Wine Co during our very short visit in the Barossa Valley. We came across their Cab Sav from our local bottleshop in Maroubra Beach after searching high and low for a good quality Cab Sav from Barossa Valley corked bottle. I went to a conference in Adelaide and couldn't resist making time. Tom was very accommodating and made time for us to meet them and taste their great wines. I highly recommend their wines and going and meeting them.

What a lovely property. Our family including my partner and myself with our 2 black retrievers, my sister and her husband and three boys, my Mum and Dad; everyone had a great time. The House was great for a large group, plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The kids and fur-kids really enjoyed the yard and garden; exploring, playing ball and night walks. The adults loved the front deck where we could relax, have a wine and keep an eye on kids/fur kids. The view is just stunning and the secluded space makes it such a lovely day to have fun with family. So many great wineries close by too! The property manager Renee was so friendly and accommodating to our needs, she was also very responsive to any queries we had which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed all round. We will be back! Lovely property and well spaced bedrooms with separate bathrooms. Great location. Huge issue with water pressure however. You can’t all have a shower the same night/morning. If you run the dishwasher you can forgot about using the shower. allow 20 min to get at least 10 cm deep water in bath. Appliances in kitchen aren’t great also, inconsistent heat. No coffee machine so bring your own. Mattresses very uncomfortable.

We booked a Gin Blending Class at the Barossa Gin Lab and were lucky enough to have Elli Beer as our host for a private session.
The experience was outstanding, Elli guides you through a hands-on process of experimenting with a wide range of botanicals to create a gin perfectly matched to your own taste.
The best part? You get to take home two bottles of your very own creation – a brilliant keepsake of the day.
We’ll definitely be back to try the cocktail class next time.
The Gin Lab itself is set within the beautifully restored old Marananca School that now also houses a winery and cellar door, pottery studio, and one of South Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming restaurants, Staguni.
It’s a destination in itself, and this class is an absolute must-do in the Barossa.
