We really wanted to love this place and hope some improvements can be made, because the idea is great and I can see why others enjoy it. Our visit just didn’t quite live up to what we had hoped for. Barbecue pits and trash cans are conveniently located near the picnic tables. There's also a small gauge train track running throughout the park although I did not see a train. I removed 2 stars for the employees. I needed several things from the case, they acted like it was a big bother. Not friendly, huffing and acted annoyed. I only moved to the US 12 years ago and absolutely know what simple German food should taste like. The dumplings were ok, nothing special. Definitely had better. Bratkartoffeln are just fried potato cubes. Now onto to the Cordon Bleu. My husband was first shocked to see the cheese and ham laying on top of the super thin Schnitzel and we laughed it off since we never tried it like that before, but was disappointed with the first bite. It’s definitely a lazy and overpriced schnitzel that I could have cooked better myself. The special thing about a cordon bleu is when you cut in and the gooey cheese melts from in between your two layers of schnitzel. There was non of that. One layer of thin schnitzel with a layer of cheese and ham on top. Takes less than 3 min to prepare this and therefore tasted absolutely underwhelming. For the price we paid we expected more and definitely better food. Overall this restaurant could do better as it’s a really simple menu. P.S. adding parsley to every dish is also lazy.

With that said this is a nice little theater but definitely needs some refurbishment. I came by to see Tron: Ares(great movie btw doesn’t deserve the hate it’s received) and got the theater all to myself on a Monday morning. The seats were comfortable but definitely shown wear and tear. When I entered the theater I was immediately greeted by the staff member selling tickets and then made my way to the concession stand. It had all the usuals with combos of popcorn, candy, soda, etc… I ended up getting a kids meal combo as I didn’t need that much to drink or eat that early in the morning. I will say right off the bat though despite not wanting that much to drink I was disappointed that there was no self serve area for the popcorn and soda like there is right down the street at the Santikos. Also the selection of sodas was slightly disappointing even though they did have Dr. Pepper I saw in another review they had Pibb exta which I was looking forward to but they ended up bot having it. The sound was good in the theater and everything was clean including the bathrooms of-course I was there first thing at opening so I cant say if the cleanliness stays that way throughout the day. Overall I had a good experience dispite the condition of the chairs and way you get popcorn and soda (no refills). I did however learn they are building a new bigger EVO in the same area so I cant say see why this theater isn’t getting the love at the moment as they will likely close this theater when the new one is built.

We were headed to eat and walked in to find the store packed with lots of toys and games. I was surprised to see toys from my childhood here! The also have a large selection of educational items and kids books. I loved the huge section of socks. I finally selected one and a couple of magnets.
