The booking process was easy and the communication prior to our visit was excellent. All questions and queries were responded to quickly. Forgot to mention it was for a birthday during booking. But when they realised it was for a birthday, they surprised the birthday girl with a nice 'Happy Birthday in chocolate' plate with some sweets on it. Not fancy, but very thoughtful. We were well taken care of by our waitress Keira and nothing was to much to ask. Food was delicious and of high standard. Entre was Kingfish Ceviche; loved it. Main fish (Barramundi) was bland, but not a fishy tast, just the proper 'white fish' taste. But in combination with the rest on the plate, it came to life and a true sensation for the taste buds. Desert was of the right sweetness and some 'sour' patches which made you long for more. This was the first time for our son to eat "fancy" and he loved it. Next visit on our list will be the high tea option. Although not one of the cheapest restaurant, its food is fabulous and the view is magnificent from the 33rd floor and a 360 turn in roughly an hour. So, saw a lot of the greater Perth area during the lunch. Definitely recommend C Restaurant.

There was warmth, humour and care..every dish that came out was explained in detail..our glasses ( I only drink sparkling water and a lot of it) was never empty and everyone was efficient yet discreet. My husband ordered a red that retails for $22 and was $135...a huge mark up. We chose the 8 course degustation with no wine pairing. The food was beautifully presented with some interesting flavours ( not all to our taste especially the kangaroo that was extremely strong). I also found the canapes and deserts not very exciting and the food flavours very underwhelming or rather hard on the palate. The bread was divine. The decor very simple. There were at least 5 birthdays celebrated and the cocktails looked great. Not quite as decadent as we expected but a good evening out .

This was only my second visit to the venue and I happily spent most of my time on the TMNT game. I love the old side scrolling beat ‘em ups. There’s something uniquely fun about them. You feel like you’re part of a story. Plus, I’m a big ninja turtles fan. As an aside, 2025 marks 35 years since the release of the original live action film featuring Judith Hoag as April O’Neil and Elias Koteas as Casey Jones. But that’s by the by. I also tried my hand at Street Fighter II and even remembered the trick to make Ryu throw a ball of fire while he says ‘Hadoken’! It’s amazing what you remember after so many years away from something. Street Fighter II is an eternal classic, so I’m glad they chose to include it. I was there at mid-afternoon on a Friday and most of the booths were booked from 4 pm. So, I’d recommend booking ahead on weekends. They do online bookings, which is super convenient. That said, you can still just rock up, have a drink and a feed and try your hand at whatever game captures your interest. One thing I like is that they do half price games on Sundays, which is really cool. Payment is easy. You buy a pre-paid in-house card that you load with credit and then use this on whichever games you want to play. All in all, Palace Arcade is a great place to unwind and chill out after a work day, or on a weekend. You can channel your energy into something fun, and all for a reasonable price. Food on the other hand was satisfactory, I ordered cheese pizza which was quite expensive considering how small it was, it came out quite burnt. Overall Adventure world is costly but it is a nice place with a nice environment and SpongeBob like song choices. I'm happy to say Massimo's wine recommendation was stellar and that I am now looking to buy this wine to enjoy with family and friends. Points also go towards the brooding design and atmosphere of Shadow. Food-wise, the oysters were ok, the scallop was actually great but the real let down was the prawn dish. The bisque was watery and flavourless and the prawns a tad tough. The asparagus dish was also just ok, though "scorched", there was not much of a smoky flavor. For the price and promise of such a beautifully designed space and fantastic staff, an improvement in the food would definitely lift Shadow's game.

This is a lesson I have learnt by dining at this restaurant. Had dinner there today as a group of 2. Ordered gigli and linguine vongole which both tasted good. So we asked the waiter to have the dishes remake, and particularly asked the pasta to be fully boiled with no white portion inside. The linguine only had a handful of vongoles with meat in shells. For how much it is, this was not acceptable. When we asked the waiter to have the pastas remake, we also told him about the large amount of empty shells in the linguine and he said he’ll ask the kitchen to have more vongoles with meat in shells. When fhe linguine was re-served, there were indeed more non-empty vongoles. When the gigli was re-served, the pasta was even less boiled compared to the first attempt, and the amount chilli used in the dish noticeably increased as if it was an unhappy statement from the kitchen. We acknowledge we were told this dish is chilli spicy when we placed the order initially, but the second attempt was way more chilli spicy compared to the first one we had. By the end of the pastas, we were pretty disappointed by dinner so far so we wanted to go somewhere for desserts. Then the same waiter came to ask us if we wanted a tiramisu on the house. We thought it was a good will gesture so we accepted it. Then guess what? When we paid, the tiramisu was still included in the bill, and we were charged for it. My friend just wanted to leave the restaurant asap so he just paid without pointing this out on the spot, even if we both noticed the tiramisu was part of the bill instead of being on the house. To be fair, the tiramisu tasted good but the entire dining experience in the restaurant just doesn’t match the atmosphere or the price you pay. We will not go back and would not recommend it to any friends or family. The service is so inconsistent and some of the restaurant staff behaviours appeared intentional and deliberate. I have never felt so uncomfortable eating in any restaurant in Australia.

I like how this place leaves spots for walks in, which makes organising a last minute date night super easy. For drinks my partner had two beers and I got myself a martini and a G&T. I was a little disappointed to find the food menu had changed from what I’d seen online (a few entrees were different) but I get that it was a sample and things shift with the seasons. For entrees, we went with the stuffed squid, scallops, and potato. The squid didn’t hit the mark for us unfortunately although I would say the scallops and potato made up for it. For mains, we shared the duck and the steak tartare (smaller portion)- and wow, the tartare was up there with some of the best we’ve had. The duck was also really great. Service was a bit slow but given it was packed it was pretty much expected. Overall I’d recommend giving La Lune a try. I would suggest if you are a couple to get your own main as well as multiple entree to share, as after those 5 plates we left feeling peckish as the portions were smaller than anticipated. I would highly recommend people to go and check it out to fully experience it for themselves. To start, when walking up, we were greeted by a very kind and sweet security guard who was polite and made it very welcoming; he even asked about our night. We got to the front desk and didn't have to wait, even though we didn't have a reservation. We were greeted by multiple lovely staff members who were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the 18 holes; you have so much fun and all the holes are creative. You can get drinks at the start, in the middle, or at the end of the course. We absolutely love Galaxy for many reasons, the atmosphere, the fact it is cheaper than the cinema, the fact we can take our own food etc. But as the last remaining drive in in Perth, it is a shame that the place is clearly not being run with much care for that fact. Lengthy queues to get in, no order to the manner in which people park (on a recent visit, after waiting an hour to get through the gate all the cars already parked were so disorderly they were taking up extra spaces) & people were actually arguing about it, the cafe food is over priced & poorly catered, on two visits recently there's been no ice cream available, on another visit buying some malteasers from the cafe found half the box had gone chewy so they must have been old or not stored properly. It's just disappointing. We'll continue to go, but I'd really love to see this place get an overhaul to have it running with consideration for its status in Perth as a unique & nostalgic venue that people visit to "experience".

We come here every couple of weeks for a arvo catch up mother daughter time. We get gin and tonics, oysters and share plates. We absolutely love it. So nice sitting outdoors when it’s sunny and even rainy with the plastic curtain coming down keeps the area nice and snug. Food is always so good, some stand outs have been the pork belly, chicken & any main fish dish. Crispy potatoes with the sauce always crunchy and yum. Oysters always delicious and creamy and presented so well. It just has a really good vibe for us and always busy on a Saturday arvo! I wanted to have a fun night out with close friends because we RARELY go out due to being busy all the time. Instead was met with a horrible experience from BOTH places. One friend really wanted to go (The Amplifier) so we did and got in- mind you it was ($50 per person). Unfortunately for us the band started packing up, so we weren't there long. Due to another friend mentioning (The Magnet House) we went there. From there it went south, we were approached by a rude security guard. He mentioned the outfit my boyfriend was wearing wasn't appropriate for (The Magnet House) regulations- normal red jersey and some nice black shorts with black TN's. We probably would of moved on if not for a few reasons like; " Why were we accepted in (The Amplifier) if his outfit didn't fit the regulations?" " Isn't (The Magnet House) dress-code regulations the same? " " Why does he have to be so rude about it? Like we didn't know... " After mentioning these things to the horrible security guard- cause we are all genuinely confused here. He just start literally shaming on the outfit more with attitude- "I mean it's a sports jersey with shorts man .." something along the lines. It's not the fact he isn't letting us go in (cause of the outfit), but the fact that he is not handling this conversation well for someone that is getting paid. Not professional at all, disgusting attitude and was definitely not solving the issue at hand- like security guards are meant to do. Unfortunately from here it got worst as we decided we are just going to head back to (The Amplifier)- we did spend literally $200 for the four of us to get in why not, right? Well somehow (The Magnet House) told (The Amplifier) about this dress code issue. So the four of us didn't get back into the bar because of a three reasons. One- dress code (our fault), two- the lack of training of security guards and three- the lacking of a manager present. I am a upset customer, because I wouldnt of spend money on the entry if I was only notified at the start about the dress code. The Manager on shift refunded only ONE person entry fee- for her personal mistake. To say I was disappointed is a understatement.
