Other Sahuarita parks: Anamax was a place my golden enjoyed with some well behaved dogs and owners very pleasant and responsible about watching their dogs. It’s hot for the dogs, it’s difficult for them to run in and let’s not mention the owners are at risk for falling or twisting their ankles. What a disgrace. It seems they just dumped tons of gravel and never spread it out to make it at least level. The smaller dog area has grass but unless you’re invited by whoever is already in there you’re not able to let them play. Despite my golden being the sweetest dog ever. Veterans park: BAD BAD BAD! Aggressive dogs which should not be allowed with owners not watching their dogs or just making excuses that their behavior is “how they play”. My golden was attacked and luckily I was just two feet away to rescue her. A Rottweiler attacked a sweet greyhound and did not survive!!! If I were any concerned owner about your dog playing safely DO NOT GO! They should be safe and having fun and not harassed by other dogs!
