不好意思，我觉得不如墨尔本动物园好玩。不知道是不是我打开方式有问题，三条路线都是要走回头路的。走路多，看动物的过程少，动物种类没有melb zoo多，小火车的体验非常一般，灰尘大，看到动物也不集中。小火车坐左边几乎不能拍好动物，建议坐右边。这种模式本来应该对标广州长隆然而真的没法比。考拉好像就2只，从野外救下来的，melb zoo都有4只考拉。10点种有一个考拉科普的环节差不多只有5分钟，不过倒是给了一个观察桉树的机会。感觉除了我就没有不是小孩或者拖家带口/一个人去的。。。反正不想再去了我就喜欢一个人逛舒服的动物园主要看喜欢的考拉
付费$59刀的deluxe bus 90分钟的时间只看很少的动物，我不理解为什么要在几只睡觉的河马面前停留40分钟，小孩子在车上等的不耐烦哇哇的哭。 $53刀的基础门票，在园里一个动物都没见到！还没有到四点。所有场馆都是空的，我强烈要求退钱给我。

Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale is such a great local spot. The adventure playground is huge and has so much variety — slides, climbing areas, swings, and cubby houses that keep the kids entertained for hours. It’s well set out, safe, and perfect for all ages.
There’s also a great skate park, wide open sporting fields, and plenty of walking and bike paths along the river, which makes it ideal for staying active. Dog owners will love the large off-leash areas and fenced dog park, which is always a hit with our furry friends.
What makes it even better are the picnic shelters, BBQs, and clean facilities, making it really easy to spend the whole afternoon here. The park is always lively but still has plenty of quiet spots if you just want a peaceful walk.
It’s a true community hub — whether you’re here with kids, friends, or pets, there’s something for everyone. Definitely one of Wyndham Vale’s best places to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors!

The little pier is nice to sit on and have some quiet time to think. It is also a fantastic Park to fly kites and drones. After the Dino "show" you get to enter the paddock to get up close to a lot of other dinos, some fenced off but many allowing hands on for the kids for their tactile enjoyment. Make sure the mobile or camera is fully charged for the many photos you will take. Kids will absolutely love the experience and talk about for ages.

The mansion grounds is nice to explore with lots of open green fields. It's a calming place to just relax, jog and have morning walks.

The Mansion is a beautiful, underrated piece of history in an absolutely stunning park that is well worth the visit.
I am biased in my love for this place, as I grew up visiting yearly for the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts, and when I outgrew those I kept coming for picnics whenever the weather is nice, to see the costumed performers and historians that are there on the Open House Melbourne days, and for our wedding in 2022. The Mansion and its surrounds have always felt utterly magical to me.
The care that's been put into the restoration and preservation of the house is so nice to see, especially when so many of Melbourne's other heritage buildings are either disregarded or near impossible to see inside. They went to the extra effort of getting fabrics and upholstery made in England to match the few remaining original patterns they were able to find, and the rooms being set up with either original or recreation furniture provides a fascinating glimpse into the past.
We were able to get some photos inside the Mansion as part of our wedding package, and they're absolutely beautiful and have such a sense of grandeur. (Shout out to The Hogans Photography for those beautiful shots.)
While the Mansion is the star of the show, there are lots of other things worth seeing while you're there. The movie that plays in the laundry building is interesting and easily missed, as is the homestead, stables, bachelors rooms and vegetable garden down at the back of the property. The grotto on the lake is another beautiful spot to visit that's a little more out of the way. I do miss when you used to be able to walk right up to the grotto entrance and on the path that wraps over the top of it, but I understand why they've gated it off and it's still a very pretty place.
The grounds are full of lovely plants, lush lawns and shady trees that are perfect for picnicking.
The rose garden on the outskirts of the Mansion grounds, and of course Werribee Zoo, are also well worth visiting while you're there. It would be great if there was better public transport for tourists, but if you live in Geelong or Melbourne or have access to a car, I highly recommend you visit Werribee Park and particularly Werribee Mansion.

I’ve always wanted to stay here and I absolutely loved the location and the heritage aspects of the building. The room was pleasant: the bed was super comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The shower was also very good. The breakfast was poor - I feel like the venue is tired and could do with a refresh. I can cook my toast and load up my plate in a cheap motel,but I shouldn’t have to rearrange tables, source cutlery and dodge other patrons to get to the food. Seriously - rearrange the buffet! Great venue. It was great not to have into the city for a dinning experience.
Staff were super attentive and gave us plenty of time between courses- which they asked us about first. We had the feed me menu which is always the best way to sample the menu. We have been regulars at Shadowfax for the past few years and got married recently in April. They have been exceptional on every occasion and we will continue to come back.
For our wedding, we were absolutely blown away with the event, food setup, and overall atmosphere of the event. The ceremony decorations, table decorations and visuals were spectacular and the team were great to communicate regarding planning.
The food was beautiful and did not disappoint. We highly recommend the grazing table, and in particular the seafood option (that was the first to disappear amongst the guests).

Popped by on my way back to Melbourne, and this was such a great decision! I didn't make a reservation, but that was no problem; the staff were so cheerful and considerate. I sat outside on a beautiful winter afternoon and the heater was perfect, and although they thoughtfully brought me a blanket. Our friends have been there a few times and loved the food but what I loved most was the owner- Matthew - he asked you feel comfortable and allowed us to order from the main menu. Pretty cool truck themed burger joint with different road signs displayed throughout the place. Menu is pretty extensive with over 10 burger options, a section dedicated to chickens, some sides and desserts.
Ordered the following:
- Saint Side Burger which had two thick beef patties, some fresh vegetables, cheese, and mick sauce which was some kind of mayo. Burger was huge but the patties were on the dry side; tasted alright but got flavour fatigue half way through
- Popcorn chicken was decent with a nice crunchy coating
- Onion rings were also nice and crunchy but a little too salty
- Nutella waffles contained chocolate ice cream, whipped cream and strawberry slices sandwich between two waffles. Waffles barely have any crispiness on the outer layer, and the whipped cream just goes everywhere when trying to cut into bite size. Taste wise it was sweet and delicious after all the heavy salty food.
Overall friendly staff and the serving size was huge even for the sides, but food was average at best.

Not really sure what we felt like for dinner, we went exploring the strip of restaurants in Werribee and happened upon this burger restaurant.
Greeted with very friendly welcoming staff, we decided to eat in. Ordering was super easy, with a QR code and online ordering. The drink came out very quickly, and the food not long after that.
I had the Fine and Dandy on a GF bun. The bun was a bit dry but gf is usually not amazing. The rest was yum.

Amazing place with super cool truck stop themed interiors. Totally give you the feel of being a truckee.

I absolutely loved the breakfast and coffee at Wolf on Watton. I highly recommended this as the best place for breakfast in Werribee. I walk along here almost every single afternoon, and am never failed to be satisfied. This trail is a beautiful place to walk along. It's suitable for all people, whether you're here to take your dog out for a walk, or to let the children watch the ducks attentively, each experience is unique! We had our wedding at The Refectory in 2022, after initially booking for 2020.
The team were really lovely and incredible helpful with all of the rescheduling and honouring our original contract through all of that mess, which we were so grateful for, and the day turned out absolutely beautiful. We did go through quite a few different coordinators over that time, which led to a bit of repeating details, but that's to be expected over such a long, weird time frame.
We were originally going to have the ceremony outside on the lawn, but due to wet weather in the lead up it was too muddy, and they were very accomodating and organised the day beforehand for the ceremony to be held inside and then have the space set up for the reception while the guests were outside under the heaters for the cocktail hour. It worked perfectly and made for a comfy environment for everyone.
The food was incredible and our guests are still raving about how good it was. We opted for a cocktail/roving food service but still had tables and chairs for guests, and they all said that they got more than enough to eat and drink.
They set up a little room upstairs for the wedding party to relax and have some food and drinks between the cocktail hour photo shoot and the reception, which meant that we were able to eat and relax before getting caught up socialising and celebrating with everyone else throughout the reception. That was such a nice little breather amongst such a hectic day, it was something that we'd thought would be good for practicality but ended up being quite an emotional bonding moment with the wedding party.
The staff were lovely when they were communicating with our guests, were aware of and helpful with dietary requirements.
It did involve a lot of detailed planning on my part in the lead up, in terms of sorting timelines, getting info for outside vendors, and double checking exactly what was included and figuring out which extras we wanted to add, but I enjoyed the wedding planning process and happily took a very active role in it.
The Refectory is an absolutely stunning venue, and with the package that lets you get photos inside the Mansion, you'll get some absolutely stunning wedding photos with a sense of grandeur that's hard to find elsewhere.

Was looking forward to having lunch here during our day at Werribee Mansion. Placed our order for a coffee and a grazing plate and asked for some water and glasses. We were advised that they would bring it all out to us.
We went outside and sat under the umbrella enjoying the garden. After 20 minutes they brought the coffee out.
We saw a table that had ordered after us receive their food and overhead a waitress telling another table behind us that firstly there was a problem with a meal they were waiting on but they were sorting it and then they come back to tell them 10 minutes later they’d actually ran out of the item they’d ordered!
After 40 minutes we still hadn’t received our water and food, so I went in to enquire where it was. I was told it was nearly ready and it takes a while to put together, I asked if I could just take the water and a woman behind the counter clicked her fingers, and pointed one of the young staff to get a bottle from out the back and told me she’d bring it out to us.
The water and grazing plate came out 5 minutes after that. The grazing plate was tasty and plentiful, it was just such a shame that the service was incredibly slow.

What a lovely horrible experience of a high tea. Highly do not recommend. We were delighted to sit beside a table unattended full of dishes whilst served less than half cups of coffee with froth. Don't expect free parking close to the venue as outlined in their description. Do expect to wait over 1 hour after seating for food that you will later be informed, they are unsure if it meets your allergy requests. Allergies that were communicated clearly prior to booking, again on seating and again on arrival of food. Don't worry though they will offer compensation for their poor service. It just will not be provided and they will tell you they are now closed and to now email the manager for it. 2 weeks later and we have received no refund. Despite 3 of our parties being provided with allergens we have now been offered a complimentary high tea which we can get to enjoy this horrible experience again.

We reserved a table for lunch today and arrived to find a lovely table with umbrella ready for us. The staff were very friendly but be willing to take some time as our food arrived 45 mins after ordering. Hubby ordered the fish and loved it. We had the Cornish pastie. The food was delicious! A special standout meal was the premium eye fillet...absolutely melted in your mouth! There were a lot of happy and full guests by the end of the night.
The staff at The Refectory were great to deal with. They made sure everything ran like clockwork. We felt so taken care of, and it really allowed us to just soak in every moment of our big day.

Excellent park to take kids to, although I'd say more suited for school aged children. Plenty of equipment, there's seating around and also a soccer field. Werribee Station is a big train terminus for the Werribee Line. A café Kiosk will be very familiar to you if you see it. It looks like remains of a Comeng Train numbered 388M, which was taken out of service in late 1980s due to an accident. It also sees Werribee Zoo south of the station, a famous attraction in Melbourne. However, I have experienced dodgy people in Werribee on the way there. It is especially dangerous as there are multiple instances of crimes especially in Wyndham Vale, a suburb next to Werribee. Overall I would rate it 1/5. Whilst Werribee is popular site for attractions, like the zoo, it lacks safety and the suburbs crime rates are steadily rising. I would recommend you to not go there unless you really have to. This is my perspective and review and I would respect that everyone has different views.

It's central location is good but I have to say, it really could have been revamped when the crossing was removed.. Even Hoppers got a walkway and a clean up, Werribee at very least needs that.. Speaking of that ramp to platform's 1 and 2 is so steep, I can hardly even walk up it and I regard myself as decent as far as fitness goes. It means I can no longer take my friend, who's got a bad hip, with me on the train like I used to before I lived here. If the station ever gets revamped, they need to do something about that..
