A top notch independent retailer who I always try to support above the biggies (Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange). It will be my first port of call when I'm next in Aberdeen and I'm sure I'll be ordering from them online again soon! Extremely highly recommended!

She was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable and from our chat seemed to know exactly what we were looking for. We then left the store and visited other jewellers to see what they had available. Later we returned to Jamieson&Carry, having been so impressed with our earlier visit, we wanted to make our purchase with them. Finally decided on a Tudor Royal, again with Silvia's help and patience. She showed us everything we required to know about the watch and had the bracelet adjusted to fit while we waited. As the watch was for my birthday later in the month, Silvia wrapped it beautifully and and even included a bottle of champagne in the gift bag. What a lovely touch and totally unexpected. We even got a gift voucher for a considerable amount to be used in store in the next 12 months which was a special offer at the time. Thank you so much to Silvia and all staff at Jamieson&Carry for making us feel so special. We highly recommend this store to anyone looking for beautiful watches and jewellery with amazing service. It’s very rustic with a lot packed into a small space. If your like us and like a store where you can rummage for hidden treasures this is a good place to go. I had enquired about having it repaired afterwards as the seller who made this ring is no longer in business and they advised me it would be quite expensive given the width etc of the ring. The ring cost originally was between £40-£50 however the ring has allot of sentimental value and I just wanted my own one again so despite them advising me it could cost just over £100 to repair I was more than happy to go ahead. I collected my ring today (£112 as advised), I am so pleased to have it back and grateful to have it shined however quite disappointed the black between the letters is gone despite me having bought it in this style and was left there in that style too. It was a gothic style ring (as shown in first photo) and I wish they had asked prior to this change as I was only aware the ring itself would be mended where it had been cut off - not any changes to the font or design. Just a heads up for anyone in future to please specify this if you see this review and look for a repair here and Finnies maybe to clarify and ask before in future with any clients too. I have tried to be as fair as possible in this review as I had a great experience being in store and everyone was very welcoming, it was just not a small price to pay for my exact ring back and it doesn’t appear the same in return with the black removed from the font. I had mentioned this at collection but the lady at the till just tried to reassure me the shine wouldn’t be as noticeable after a while - when really the black between font was gone. So I have chose to leave an honest and fair review instead and just accept that it’s gone now.
