I explained that I had lost my job and needed the money for food, I told him I didn’t really want to even have to sell it but I needed money to feed myself. He kept pushing and pushing and wasting my time. Asking me condescending questions like, who died that I got this from. He also said several time you don’t even know how this thing works do you? He assumed that I just had found this item thinking it had no value. In my opinion he acted as if because of my age I had zero idea how to clean/operate the typewriter. They were the only one in town to make an offer and so I decided that I would have to take whatever I could get. He said the best he could possibly do is $70 because “I’m going to eat a lot of profit in shipping it alone”. I reluctantly agreed and he pulled out a massive stack of bills then asked me if I had change for a $20... I said no man that’s why I’m here. He said oh ok well fine I guess I can do $80. I explained that I loved my typewriter but it was the most valuable thing I owned that I could survive without and that it meant a lot to me. I said you know you’re getting a helluva deal and that if I had any other choice I wouldn’t be selling it so cheaply. He said oh well I guess I can tell you now I’m not planning on selling this I’m going to give it to a suicidal friend and I didn’t want to have to pay full price. He kept following me outside. He told me about how he was taking care of this girl and he was going to get major brownie points for this. I wanted to tell him what he could do with those brownie points, but took the high road and assumed it was just bad day with them. I did not make the $10 deal today because I am in a much better position than I was in. I wanted to test their morality. They failed hard. Offering 10 for a product they knew was worth $150. Boo in my opinion shady businesses like this should have much more regulation to prevent scummy people from preying on people in need.

While replacing the front struts he had to detach thr outer tie rod on the driver and passenger front and reattach and tighten to specifications. Brahler called me the very next day and said that the outer tie rods had to be heated and should probably be replaced because they were froze on there. Are you kidding me? They were just loosened the day before. They knew they had to be loosened because they saw I had new struts and shocks put on. I told them that and they said they managed to break one free and replace the other. BullCrap ! Don't take your car there. If you sit in the waiting room and overhear them talking loudly for everyone to hear, they are trying to sell things you dont need. Never will I trust them again
