The apartments were absolutely perfect, modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The lovely underfloor heating was such a comfort after a long day on the mountain. She helped with so much and to name a few - which airport to fly into, how best to get to Hakuba with the train service, supermarket trips while staying there and just generally being so helpful. The apartment is so conveniently located too. 3 min walk to the bus stop to all the resorts and restaurants are all within a 5 min walk, the closest is 30m from the front door! Love this place and would definitely stay here again.

We spilt the bill so didn't pick up on it straight away and called them as soon as we got home, the manager told us that we had just under estimated the service charge and when we said "no we gone over the printed bill and you have over charged us by 3 set menus" she still did not believe us and eventually said "oh it looks like it was a computer error". A simply apology would have gone a long way instead of making us feel like liars. Long story short, the food is incredible but just double check your bill before paying!

There are no napkins on all the tables so you have to get up and grab them from another table. Another table couldn't find any utensils either so found a toothpick and ate their appetizer with that... Meanwhile there seemed to be plenty of people milling about behind the bar paying not much attention to what the clients were running about looking for. A bar? I'm sure it all tastes ok after several pints when you don't mind eating a plate of fish and chips with your fingers, or getting up several times to serve yourself to something that should really be given to you with your food, but it's definitely a far cry from a gastro pub.

The service was great. I had been planning a 20 minute walk from the bus station to the chalet on arrival. But they picked us up in a shuttle from the local bus station when we arrived in Hakuba, took us for a supermarket run our first night and on checkout drove us back to the local bus station. Skiing in Japan is fantastic and almost all shops and facilities are top notch especially with service. And the store actually gave me a new setup because it was broken and they said they would not charge me for the first day of my three day rental. The fabulous staff even picked us up from the bus terminal with all our luggage, took us to the shop to get fitted out, then dropped us with all our gear to our accommodation. What service!
