The Chicken Wings and Curly Fries were also very good. You can spend ages looking around all the Oasis pictures and memrobilia as well, which is so cool, and they play a brilliant selection of music.

Throughout the whole planning experience, Nat and the team were unbelievably helpful, kind and always ready to answer any question. They were happy to let us have a viewing of the space and didn’t mind when we added in a few extra people just a couple of weeks before the date! On the actual night, the team were just as helpful as they’d been in the run up towards it. The music system was fantastic and easy to use with an aux cable (that we bought from Amazon - easy enough for us!) into my husbands phone. The bartender on the night provided a fantastic and quick service the whole night. The food we chose was a selection of sandwiches, varying snack foods, pizzas and chips. All of the food was piping hot and very yummy - I’m pretty sure there was none left over! We’d chosen to have some welcome drinks too, which were helpfully put on the tables for our arrival after the wedding ceremony. Throughout the entire process, the team at the Octagon were just so amazing. I had the best night of my life so far and such a memorable wedding. I highly recommend their rooms and their services. The theatre performance area was great, we were seated to the side, but the performance space was well used, ensuring everyone had a good view. Free water available in the bar area on a side table, and cups of tea available to buy too... We loved being able to drink our tea whilst watching the second half of 39 steps, what a fabulous show that was too. Only slight niggle is that the seating is a little tight, l am 5f 2' and struggled to get comfortable at times... However, it wouldn't stop me going again 🙂

Mr D'arcy, well, his first appearance had the desired effect and when he just uttered the line with only one word: "Good", I nearly fell off my chair laughing. In the scene when he and Elizabeth were about to join hands, I felt the emotional tension between them crackle. They've converted the back car park into an outdoor seating area. They've laid down fake grass, and put up a sturdy shelter covered in blue tarpaulin and added a number of picnic tables. We went in last night, it was a cool and damp November evening so after purchasing our drinks we chose to sit near one of the electric fires. Barristers have various drinks offers playing on a screen above the bar, but when you try and purchase the drinks on offer the bar staff pretend not to know anything about it and overcharge you. I bought 2 bottles of house wine that should have been £12.50 each on their offer but each time I was charged £14. Once the deal showed on the screen the manager and bar staff reluctantly admitted they had been overcharging me and without any apology proceeded to charge me the correct price and refunded me the difference for only one of the times I had been overcharged. Garbage service, horrendously rude staff and I certainly won’t be back. You can guarantee that if they were doing this to me they were undoubtedly overcharging other customers as well. Back in the tasting room Paul the barman was kept busy with the drinkers but coped incredibly well and was often funny with his stories if you got talking to him. For £17.50 you get amazing hospitality courtesy of the Titanice tour guides, 3 pints of their superb beer straight from the source, a plastic pint glass, and of course the lobby.
