Small pebble stones and a little plateau from where you can jump makes the beach a perfect place for all ages (we were there with 2 small kids). We opted to have a few pre-dinner cocktails inside the cave to cool off. Sat at the bar and very much enjoyed our drinks. Drink quality is good; however, the bartenders were not very engaging with us. Sometimes a little bit of small talk helps with the overall experience. Overall, a fun place to go. Note that this is in the western part of town in Lapad. We Ubered close by from near Old Town to see a different part of Dubrovnik which we also liked very much. At around 6:30 pm we finished our walk to end at Cave Bar More to find a line waiting for the beach area to be switched to a bar area. The staff moved all the beach chairs and set up the tables and chairs for a nice sea side dining experience. We were able to get a table right by the ledge and enjoy the view. So glad we did after reading some negative reviews which almost put us off but I’m so glad they didn’t. There was a good crowd as you might expect for a top Dj appearance but personally I felt the resident Djs did a fantastic job warming up. While I’m not a massive fan of vip areas in dance clubs, I appreciate they are part of the experience now in the more exotic locations, where you can park a yacht nearby but they are clearly marked and it would be hard to accidentally sit there and be charged unexpectedly, in my opinion. The club has a very decent sound system and lighting/av setup and friendly and professional staff including the waiters who roam the club offering bottle service without being pushy. Bar staff were fast and friendly. The room itself and the overall setting the club is in, just to the side of the old harbour in Dubrovnik makes it really quite special in my opinion. Check the listings and if there is a house Dj on who you want to see don’t hesitate to go. The only negative for me was the standing tables on the dance floor, I just don’t feel they should be there and discourage people who want to dance from doing so in my opinion. If you want a bucket of champagne, drink it around the edges of the dance floor, not in the middle of it.
