We were visiting NSB for a few days and a waiter from another restaurant recommended Third Wave and after our meal we could see why. I decided on the Sammy sandwich with tomato basil soup. We had the most incredible time at the Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by passionate and knowledgeable staff who were eager to share their love for Florida's marine ecosystems. We asked an employee about it, because we use the same spicy mustard at home and it tastes the same as it always has, and she said she didnt know. Our reviews had over 42 million views in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love The Bakers Table. We went 6 times for dinner just to be sure it was really that good. For sure in our top 4 places to eat worldwide!!! It is that good. Reservations are a must. My husband and I decided to stop in for a date night, we were greeted and sat promptly, even without a reservation. We both ordered a glass of wine, skipped the app as we got bread and we wanted to save room for dessert! Both entrees came with the choice of soup or salad, my husband enjoyed his soup and the dressing on the salad was delicious! My husband ordered the grouper and crab with Rockefeller sauce (special) and I ordered the eggplant and shrimp Parmigiana. Both dishes were PHENOMENAL! The wait for the food did take a little long, our waitress mentioned there was a party of about 25 so not sure if that contributed to the wait time but for food this good, the wait was perfectly reasonable! For dessert, my husband ordered a cannoli (nice and crunchy shell!) I ordered the pistachio cheesecake and it was great! Next time I will be trying the tiramisu. We then ordered their famous sticky ribs. The first one I bit into was cold and the second one warmer and so on. Very clearly reheated in a microwave causing hotspots. So she said they would cook it more. 5 minutes later it was back and still raw. This restaurant is really playing with fire serving old mussels and raw pork to people. I don’t know how they haven’t killed anyone but after I really searched the reviews I saw someone write that they were sick for days. The waitress took the pork chop off the bill but it was still a complete waste of $70. The myriad of 5 star reviews are bought and payed for in my opinion. Stay away!!!

The room was upstairs and very private. We had basically a private screened in balcony all to ourselves. The room was cozy, bed and linens very comfortable and a nice big roman tub! There is a wine bar next door with live music regularly called Crimson House. Walkable to Canal Street and a weekend Farmers market. Tom & Liz also prepared a delicious breakfast each morning and snacks were left out for guests daily as well as a wide selection of teas and coffee. Books, games and a vast collection of movies were also available to guests. If back in the area, we would certainly book again. Thank you Tom & Liz for an enjoyable weekend!

Left multiple messages for follow up and zero response. They were recommended by my neighborhood too. Very poor customer service. Update- After a week or so and a couple posts on social media about my experience, I got an email with a quote for work that I didn't ask for (full replacement of all 3 of my sliding glass doors), which aggravated me as it was not in any of the communications I had with them. Thus, it was probably just a blanket quote to say somebody did something. Subsequently, I was contacted by GGVC and set up a quick in--home estimation of the one door I had an issue with. The inspection was well done and they gave me all of the facts and concerns. I was happy with the inspection and received a quote in 48 hours that was satisfactory. I then paid my 50% via check and had to wait until they were ready to install. I was told it would take 4+ weeks but they actually got to me a bit sooner, which was great! The GGVC folks came and finished the install in about 2ish hours. They had an issue during install that they corrected without any further complications. The install looks "ok" as some of the aesthetics are now absent that a clean install would look like. I suppose that is what it is. I would wager they are much better at installs than fixes, but this is just one lone experience I have with them. If I have an issue again, I would not hesitate to call them back. They were friendly to deal with once I was able to get someone.

So we were constantly tracking them into the apartment. Terrible wifi. However, the place was extremely clean and comfortable. I absolutely HATE bugs and I didn't find even one the entire time I was there. Comfortable bed w/ lots of extra pillows, plenty of dishware. There's no windows facing the beach, but only steps away from a nice deck with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants, dog friendly, but be aware, this is a small apartment. Short walk w/ sidewalk to another park with dog friendly trails that were very pretty. We fit two adults and two large dogs. Tight, but it worked. About a 15 minutes drive to the dog beach. But honestly, we saw plenty of people taking their dogs on the main beach and no one said a word about it. Checking in and out was easy. They have Roku on the TV, so we were able to sign in under our own account and still had access to all the channels we normally watch. If you're planning on staying inside the majority of your stay, this is not the place for you. But who does that if you're going to the beach? All in all, I enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

A True Florida Gem! Our family just had the most wonderful beach day at New Smyrna Beach, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're looking for a clean, safe, and family-friendly spot, this is it. The first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean the sand and water were. The sand is soft and white, perfect for building sandcastles, and there wasn't a piece of trash in sight. The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming. It felt incredibly safe for our kids to run around and play in the shallow, gentle waves. We saw lots of other families enjoying the day, which created a really positive and friendly vibe. We had plenty of space to set up our chairs and umbrella without feeling crowded. I went on a day it was sunny but also Mist and fog was coming in- it was still stunning. I loved watching the fisherman who was there, loved watching them catch bait and just enjoy the day. It's a beautiful site to watch them surfing, the waves coming in, and seeing people walk along the beach so they can enjoy the surf. The parking along the walkway is good, a few one way streets but the sand and wheels are probably 6- 12 inches deep. That's an actually parking lot at the park worth shaded places to sit- is really pretty too. We brought a pucnic lunch to eat, as did several others. I'm not too sure if there's a lot of restaurants but i did see quite a few on the other side driving out. If you want some rest and rekaxation, being a blanket or chairs and plan on exploring. It's a Great free way to spend the day at the beach!!
