On the walk in to the ticket booth from the parking lot, we noted that they have this very cool little "kiddie train" and a mini-train station right at the entrance. There is also an extensive array of zip lines and launch/landing platforms around the park's entrance area for adults and older kids to enjoy but we didn't see any staff on duty on this weekday visit, so it may only be operated on the weekends. The ticket booth staff was friendly, and they gave me a Veteran discount that saved me about $10.00 on my entrance ticket. See my attached receipt on what entrance cost. Once inside the park, we noted that there is a splash pads for younger kids to enjoy, and it was operating with several kids enjoying the shooting water jets and cooling off. We then proceeded to walk and tour the zoo through a nice circular pathway route and series of board walks. It is very well laid out and they have a fairly extensive array of animals from tropical and temperate zone habitats, particularly for a medium sized zoo. It's also very kid friendly and there are several places to get cold drinks and snack foods around the interior of the park. After we were finished the tour and exited the gate we walked inside this conference hall to enjoy some air condition, and saw a picture of Jungle Jack Hannah, who got his start here as a Zookeeper way back in the early 1970s when the place first opened. We've always been fans of his show, this was a nice finish for us. Overall, this is a very nice zoo, and I would not hesitate to recommend it for kids of all ages (and old-aged big kids like my wife and I). It's easily accessible from Orlando or Daytona with lots of nice expressways close by.

Everything about this gallery was really good. Really great art, super fabulous French bulldog, artist studios to investigate, and a knowledgeable and approachable gallery owner. Ship was beautiful and clean. We paid extra for a window seat on the upper level and we had a great view! As we were sat at our table there was a fruit and cheese plate and sweet bread tea and water which was nice. Service was very slow in the beginning it was a young man he was kind but he struggled and it took very long for us to recieve our drinks. Toward the middle of the cruise Jackie took over and things were better and she was great. The food was decent not great not terrible. We had the prime rib, salmon and entree salad.The views of the river were beautiful and you can roam freely throughout the ship. Entertainment was on the lower level which you can see and hear from the upper level with a large tv. There was a woman singing she had a great voice and there were a mix of songs which was nice.There were people dancing therefore I would recommend requesting the lower level of you prefer to be closer to the entertainment. For St John's I would recommend stepping up the food a bit. Overall a great day and experience.I would recommend and I will return with family when they are in town.

We got to sit on the second level, away from the live entertainment but awesome view from our window seats at the table. The price of the ticket includes a 4 course meal that is made to order over the course of the ride. On the table is complimentary water and both sweet and unsweetened iced tea, they also have Coke products along with a full bar. We had finger foods of veggies and fruit with dip and sweet bread to start. Then a salad course, mixed greens and other veggies with dressing on the side along with bread and rolls. For lunch I had the chicken Marsala, mashed and Brussels sprouts, my sister enjoyed the prime rib with mashed and corn. For dessert was coffee and carrot cake. Natalie was our server and she was attentive and personable. Made it that much more enjoyable. We had both live entertainment and guided nature narrated tour. Christine has a beautiful voice and knows an array of different songs. She kept us well entertained. The breeze and the view from the top was beautiful. The spray from the paddle wheel was cooling. It was a beautiful and relaxing luncheon. I highly recommend taking the trip.

The DJ was not very entertaining and he rushed the music to the next one when the crowd got into it like starting to sing or clap. No stand up to stretch or restroom break just full 2 hours of rushed bingo. It gets dark quickly so you cant even see outside and you can not enjoy the ships view. Plus constantly looking at the monitor and cards you have no time to look out the window. This could of been done inside a building for all it was worth. Servers and employees were friendly. Maybe the 3 hr day bingo better but I would not go back to this night time one. I have been to many other music bingos and this was my least favorite.

I came in from North Carolina to visit my niece and nephew. I scheduled a horse experience well in advance for my niece, but decided at the last minute to add my nephew. My niece was a little nervous, but the person doing the horse experience was amazing! Of course she was knowledgeable about the horses, but she explained things on their level. She made them feel comfortable around such a big animal and by the end had made my niece feel comfortable enough to attempt getting on Rosie. Rosie was an amazing horse and so patient as well! I loved that the kids were slowly introduced to how to take care of this animal before riding. Had a chance to bond in an amazing way by an amazing staff. Afterwards, it was so much fun for them to go in the henhouse, and then pet and feed the rabbits. The whole experience from beginning to end was priceless. I’m so glad I don’t live in Florida, because I would go broke spending my money there every weekend. I know they have trail rides as well, which will be my goal next time. I definitely suggest going. It is a beautiful property and an amazing experience.

I liked the ginger scallion beef which had slivers of carrots and onions and highlight was the spicy tuna roll. If I were to come here again I would get hibachi and sushi and skip the teriyaki. One of the main problems at Seminole State is financial aid, which is a disaster mess. We filled out the fafsa form for financial aid 3 times already and we haven't got anything for once. Even though I have met ALL of the requirements to be eligible for it. I also applied for an aid benefit since my biological father has passed away back in 2024. I needed to send them my father's death certificate online, and nope nothing has been processed. The financial aid department RARELY reads emails or answer phone calls. They don't even dare contacting you back if you have a problem. I contacted them so many times and have not gotten a single response which really started to piss me off. People who tend to ignore you after contacting them MILLIONS of times even when they're not busy is a huge sign of disrespect. I'm talking about like 5-6 emails from the same department but different people. It's more like a smack in the face, they don't care at all. They throw you off to the side on purpose, and they make you feel like you're a piece of garbage. I had NO choice but to go to the Sanford/Lake Mary campus in person and this time, my mother went with me to settle all this nonsense out. From the menu my buddy and I chose the bison burger, and his wife chose the winter vegetables. Again, very small portions, no risk whatsoever that you will go home stuffed - I have attached photos of the main courses and desserts. I have eaten buffalo burgers in the past in both Oklahoma and Texas, and I am familiar with the strong, gamey flavor. We were told that the restaurant imports their bison meat from Canada so they can ensure 100% quality of the meat. In fact the meat does not have a strong gamey flavor, it tasted very much like Iowa corn-fed beef, except a lot more expensive at $16 for the burger and a half cup of red cabbage and carrot slaw. (The menu said this was coleslaw, but the menu is wrong. Red cabbage and carrots do not make coleslaw, and as an aside, coleslaw is supposed to have a dressing on it.) Our waiter had a little trouble this evening, he did finally bring lemon for the ice waters about halfway through dinner after a couple prompts, but he was unable to remember to bring any sweetener for the tea. In most of my visits to Orlando, and dining out with my long time friends, after a hearty dinner we don't have room left for dessert. Not so tonight, so we ordered cheesecake for me and a chocolate mousse with peanuts for them. Both were excellent in flavor, barely 2 bites a piece. I took pictures to show back home when nobody believes my story of miniature portion sizes. I did use the restroom before paying the bill, and going inside I noticed the same 3 unattended tables they had when we first arrived. Apparently no one had reserved them, or perhaps decided not to show up later. Or perhaps, the young lady who greeted us simply did not want to give us a table without a reservation in order to teach us a lesson about making reservations before we come the next time. I don't think there's any risk that we will go a next time. As we left the restaurant we had an interesting discussion of where to go next to get some real food. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Go some place that treats you nice, serves a broad selection of dinner options, is attentive to your requests for lemon and sweetener and refills your water glasses... that is, a place that offers service and values your business... and most importantly, doesn't cost you $100 for enough food to feed a 10 year old (three 10 year olds, in our case).

My husband and I visited for the first time recently and we were happy to find a wine bar not too far from home. The location is good. The decor is great. The prices were AMAZING! We both ordered a wine flight which each consisted of (5) 1.5 oz pours of whichever wine we wanted to try on the menu for $17. What a great deal! I hope this deal sticks for a while because it will keep us coming back. We do have a couple of suggestions however. When we walked in, even though the place is really nice it felt dead. It was a Saturday night! There were a few other people there but a nice spot like this could be bustling with a few minor adjustments. First, the lighting at the bar was a little too bright. If they don’t have them on a dimmer I suggest doing so to tone down the lighting for a better mood/vibe. The lighting in the back was much better where they have comfy chic sofas and that’s where we chose to sit. By the way the ladies working there were very polite and helpful. The other thing my husband and I both agreed on was the music was way too low. It made it a bit awkward in there because it was so quiet. They have fun music playing but at such a low level it kills the vibe. They also have some sofas by a fireplace that in our humble opinion could be removed to place live entertainment on the weekends. Some live music would definitely bring more patrons in. We enjoyed the wine and the pricing and the decor. We will still be back but we hope for some future improvements to make this place even better!
