When I used the shower, it was freezing cold, but I assumed it was because I didn’t know what I was doing. I finished my shower, dressed in my robe and waited for my massage therapist. Once receiving the massage, I found it very odd that my therapist used one hand during most of the massage. I’m very familiar with massage services because I get them often and I found it very strange that in certain instances only one hand was used during a massage. And of course, that did not lead to any full satisfaction on the massage. I waited throughout the massage to see if both hands would be used, but it would probably be for a short period of time, disappointing. So I had to take another shower because there was no wipe down with warm towels for the oil residue. I notified the front desk and letting That the water was not warming up and wasn’t sure if it was my doing. They came to the back to run the water and noticed that the water never warmed up. Check in was seemless although the generated key through the app doesn't work as promised. The room was clean however small issues did arise. The remote for the TV was not working correctly unless you stood or held it a certain way. The spa, Chanel was wonderful in explaining the amenities and services. The dining, Lateria was an awesome hostess and went out of her way to make us comfortable and give us everything we needed. The hottub/jacuzzi was disappointing along with the pool with non working jets. There was construction going on with saw dust and noise as I tried to relax and the inside of the jacuzzi was visibly old. Definitely needs an upgrade. The check out was easy and when I explaining the issues, I was granted free breakfast. That was very nice.

The entire staff was very friendly from the front desk to the actual spa workers. I had the signature facial with Rene and the 60 minutes hot stone massage with Jennifer. My body is always tense and muscles are so tight. I do suffer occasionally with sciatica. She’s very knowledgeable she gave me some tips about correcting my posture which helped and pointed out a few exercise and things I could do at home to relieve pressure from my lower back. Ms.Rhonda was truly amazing I’ve had many massages but this by far was the best one I’ve ever had! Marshall was so sweet in helping me plan out my whole day. The whole team from beginning to end were truly efficiency, warm, kind and polite. 10/10 do recommend . I was very surprised and disappointed but the only appointment time they had available interfered with another appointment I had already booked. The next day came and I received an email asking my “how was my experience” me confused decided to check my credit card that I usually book the appointment and sure enough it was charged $95. I immediately called and they put me to speak with Ashley the spa manager, she told me that they had two different accounts in my name with an old phone number and she will give me a call back. She called me back hours later to tell me they couldn’t do anything no even give me a credit to get a service every though I called to verify and they had the incorrect number from years ago which I update with them IN PERSON a few months back when I got a facial. Long story short, she didn’t care what I had to say nor never offered to make it better. Luckily I was able to get the money reversed from my bank since I never have an issue but I guarantee that I will never try to book another appointment with EarthSavers! This was not the first time I had a problem with them but it most definitely was the worst!!

Then last week they asked me to fill out preferences and requests so I said would like to pay for a club level upgrade as an ambassador. Offered 200 a night and accepted. Arrived today to have it again denied as they were near capacity. They will still give a $6000/night suite with club access but nothing for the ones who stay at these properties loyally. Ritz will do fine. I am the fool to believe that loyalty means anything especially at this property!

My room was serviced each morning so spectacularly with such care for my belongings. The food was absolutely incredible and staff were extremely professional and friendly. The quality was strong as expected. It is well worth booking a room on the river side to enjoy the constant flow of ships. There are also great river views from the restaurant and pool. We looked at other top end hotel options with pools but ultimately settled on the Four Season based on the pool setting and sun exposure. It did not disappoint there. The service at the pool was excellent most days but understaffed one day. The train noise – yes there is at times train noise. We were there 4 nights on the 16th floor, and I think we heard it once in the morning and once in the middle of the night, but it was not a surprise (because of reviews here) and not a big issue. I think the hotel could actually benefit from owning it more with something train focused for kids and some playful adult item e.g. chocolate trains on the pillow at turn down. The lobby space is a bit smaller as is the case for many city vs resort locations, but we generally found it calm. Some evenings there was high energy at the bar but all appropriate. It was extremely convenient to both the French Quarter and Garden District. Highly recommend. (Also highly recommend the new restaurant, Delacroix) I understand the hotel building set empty for several years before the Four Seasons converted it from office space to hotel. I booked a 3 night stay and had an issue with my travel so could only stay 2 nights. They would not refund me for the first night which surprised me. Once arriving, I experienced nothing but problems with my room. The door didn’t lock which meant my room was accessible by anyone at anytime. Instead of changing my room, they spent 3.5 hours trying to fix it which kept me from being able to exit as I didn’t want to leave my belongings. Not only is that a risk of theft, it is a safety issue. The next day I had the opposite problem…I couldn’t even get into my room as the key card scanner stopped working. Hours later, I got back into my room. Just a crazy experience overall and it left me disappointed as I received no credit, refund, or upgrade. I would not recommend staying here.

Googled local salons and called today 10/16/25 at 222pm to see if they could take us as walk ins for two pedicures, two manicures and two massages. Arrived at 244pm I first had a massage with Jay he was very professional and the best part of the entire experience. I then went downstairs to receive mani & pedi. I first asked if they do designs on manicures they said no. I then asked for regular polish on my feet and for a new acrylic full set on my hands with regular polish. They said they could only do regular polish on my hands and not acrylic. I asked for part fin wax and callus remover. They did not apply veranda wrap to let the callus wrap soak on the heel surface first to be able to properly file off the dead skin with a pumice stone when I asked them if they could they said “no we have it in this bottle” they then just put the callus remover on my heel directly and filed. I asked the technician to take the builder-gel that I had on my two big toes off, to be able to then paint the polish. In stead of properly soaking the nail with a drenched cotton ball in acetone and wrapping in foil paper to slowly file with a manual file or a electric file to prevent damage they ripped my entire nail off of my right big toe and posing me to risk of skin infection from bacteria. They then tried to pick up the builder gel shape that they just ripped off of my toe recklessly and said “I’ll get gel and gel it back”. I told her “No I don’t feel comfortable you doing anything else to me and I am leaving. I spoke up and the owner was so unprofessional and began yelling from the other side of the salon over the blow dryer while she completed another styling service saying “that’s what you asked for” and not once did she apologize or offer any kind of help. I refused to pay for the service and did not finish my manicure or pedicure or have my hands or feet painted. I paid for my mothers services $140 as quoted for the 50 min massage and $60 mani & pedi combo regularly polish. I paid $90 for my 50 min massage and $25 for the unfinished manicure. NEVER DID I SAY OR GIVE PERMISSION TO USE INCORRECT TECHNIQUES TO REMOVE GEL AND RIP OFF MY BIG TOE NAIL AND DAMAGE MY NAIL-BED. I now have to wait to go back to Los Angeles and pay more money to get this fixed. I would never recommend this business to anyone not even my worst enemy because if you go there you will regret it just like I do now. It’s the worst pedicure and customer service I’ve ever experienced. It’s one thing to not be skilled at a service but it’s another thing to incorrectly do a service knowing you are not skilled or certified to do so. The worst part is the customer service, I was not apologized to by the technician or the owner. Instead I was yelled and blamed as if I asked for it. Please do better because I have never be so dissatisfied and disappointed. I wear open toed shoes in Los Angeles on my day off of work but now have a toe that might get infected if I don’t pay extra money at a better salon to fix immediately.

I booked a Rose Quartz facial, but did not receive a Rose Quartz facial or any of the services that are listed on the website. When I checked out, my facial was changed to a Clarify and Calm facial, but I also did not receive any of these services. My esthetician did not speak to me at all beyond one suggestion prior to the facial. When I contacted the store via email, it took them 5 days to respond. The response was a total gaslight. They said my facial was changed because that was what the skin trainer felt was best for my skin. The reason I didn’t receive any of the listed services is because I got the “off menu” clarify and calm facial which has different services. They couldn’t replace the microdermabrasion included in the facial I booked for dermaplaning because “microderm only takes 5 minutes whereas dermaplaning takes 15-30 minutes.” And the skin trainer went through all of these thought processes and changes silently, not discussing them with me once. Maybe if I was some facial novice, I would have bought some of this explanation. However, I know how insulting it was to receive this. The store is very beautiful. I’m sure it costs a lot. I think you’re paying for the location and the look. $260 for dermaplaning, mask, LED, massage and serums?? That’s ridiculous. The float session I was hesitant at first about it — and even at one point sat up in the egg like tank I was in because the darkness and heat just got to me — but once I just relaxed and let go I was floating away. It is such a different and surreal feeling, you have to just experience for yourself. A 90 min session is equivalent to 6 hours of sleep! They had to literally pound on the door to snap me out of the floating world I was in, it was that relaxing. My facial was a great way to follow up the float session and I left looking and feeling great. This is a great spa that is exceptionally clean and the staff were professional, knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable right when you walk in. I highly recommend this spa, so be sure to check it out right in the heart of downtown New Orleans!

The technique of my therapist was very good, however she was texting several times during my massage. I heard her phone vibrate at least 3 times and she would just stop to reply back. Her technique was the only good thing about the appointment. The facility was extremely lacking in decor and comfort. It was not at all a pampering spa experience. The massage table was not heated and was barely padded. The massage rooms were basic without candles or aromatherapy. It actually smelled musty. The rooms were cold. The bathroom was rundown and the light didn't turn on. It looked like a cheap express massage place in a rundown strip mall versus a spa in a luxury hotel. It is definitely not worth the price. I was embarrassed to give this experience to my cousin as a birthday gift.

I have gone to different Spa's over New Orleans and never experienced a bill for gratitude of $46.00 The Public Health Service should close Serenity Spa for impersonating a Spa. I would never recommend Serenity Spa to my worst enemy. I will never forget this experience at Serenity Spa.
