Whenever I've gone I've always done the full loop, which is about 13 miles. A small part of the walk leaves the reservoir edge and diverts through some country lanes. I attended with my daughter and we were extremely lucky with the weather and the numbers so we had really good access to the experience. Liam was very knowledgeable, amiable, fun and an excellent host for the afternoon. We experienced four birds of varying sizes and weights(!). This was a wonderful way to spend time and those birds are so impressive that you are forced to live in the moment, be present and forget everything else - Ella and I just loved it and look forward to an Owl day next. Zoe and Bradley were very patient with my boys, very knowledgeable and overall great instructors. We had an informative tour of the birds they housed and then walked to the field to fly some. Both of my boys were a bit nervous at first to fly the owls and hawk but then tried it and had huge smiles. The birds are magnificent, beautiful creatures and it was great for me to learn more about them. It was a hugely successful special activity for us and we all had a great time.
