We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in May half-term, and although the aquarium is small, you're treated like an old friend from beginning to end. The owner talked us through the history of the aquarium and showed us how to hand-feed the mullet, which was a fantastic experience for all of us! Our children were then able to hold starfish and take a look at all of the local marine life that the aquarium had to offer. We felt the price was extremely reasonable for the intimacy of the aquarium and to keep such a wonderful treasure open to the public. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

It was such a treat for my nephew who is nearly 8 years old. The adults loved it too - especially when I found two ammonites on the Jurassic Coast. My nephew ended up with quite a haul of fossils - it was a dream come true for him, as he wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up. We are going back again!

We went out to a little wreck to do the fishing and whilst there everyone caught a fish. Absolutely beautiful. The small garden was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting in the surprisingly private little suntrap on the patio table and chairs. Inside it was decorated to an extremely high standard. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The kitchen was also immaculate with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The sitting room come bedroom has a large window to watch the seagulls. Bedding was all of a very high quality too. The real joy of this hidden gem is the location. A 30 second stroll to the cobb. Right in the thick of all that Lyme has to offer. Such lovely hosts too. And a car parking space which is worth its weight in gold. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough. It's a hidden gem as it has so little online presence. (The only way you can view this is to look on google maps! )We took a leap of faith . So should you....you won't regret it.
