There is a decent size car park near the children's play area. Lovely little cafe that has two entrances, one for people with dogs. Dog friendly so you can get out of the bad weather and warm up after your walk.
There is a red deer enclosure and the deer come right up to the fence.
There's a wild flower area, a lake and it is a nature reserve.
It will probably be very popular if it snows as there are some great slopes for tabboganing.
Family friendly, definitely worth a visit

We arrived about midday for our first visit to this Essex Wildlife Trust site. The car park was fairly full but we found a space easily. There is a small walk from the carpark to the cafe, passing the Red deer enclosure, a number of deer were close to the fence, being fed by families. The weather was still a bit chilly but the sun was out. We started at the café that serves hot food, teas and cakes. After a coffee to warm us up we wandered down hill to the cow pond where there was a verity of geese and ducks and a couple of bench seats. We then walked back up the rear side of the deer enclosure back to the car. In all we spent a good couple of hours here but will return later in the year.

Spent an afternoon here and I can say this place is amazing ,only had to drive like 20 minutes from where I live but it was totally worth it. The staff in the cafe also amazing , always smiling and kind . One of my favourite places so far and can't wait to go again.

Great park. Probably the best in the area to be honest. Long walks, great views and a real sense of being away from it all... even though it’s only 5 minutes away from the outskirts of Romford.

This is a fantastic place to bring your child! My little one is under 2 years old, so the free admission is a big plus. Everything is well organized, and there's the convenience of being able to eat inside. As expected from places like this, the food is more on the quick side, but it's surprisingly tasty. I've visited twice already and will definitely be coming back. One of the standout attractions is the circus – it’s a wonderful source of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. I recommend this place !

We visited Old MacDonald’s Farm with our two children (aged 4 and 2), and it was such a fantastic day out! The last time we came was just before my son turned one, and he was a little too young to appreciate the full experience, so I can honestly say the experience this time was so much better.
Both kids absolutely loved the rides – which I think is one of the best things about this farm. You don’t just get to see and interact with the animals (which they also enjoyed), but there are so many rides (some of which are even suitable for babies) and outdoor play areas that kept them fully engaged. It really does offer something for everyone.
There were plenty of opportunities to meet the animals (we did the rabbit encounter), and we were lucky to catch the summer circus too – my children really enjoyed that. The staff stood out as well; everyone we met was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer.
On top of that, there are indoor soft play areas for rainy days, but we had sunny, warm weather so the kids made the most of the outdoor climbing frames and slides. We visited from 10am until 3pm, but honestly, you could easily spend the whole day here until closing. My tip would be to arrive early: start with the animals and then move on to the rides once they open at 11am.
A brilliant family day out – we’ll definitely be back!

Got there at 10:30am and received an informative welcome from reception
I was happily surprised that it was not very busy .
I was apprehensive about how many rides my daughter who is nearly two could go on
and yet out of everything available she only missed out on 5 attractions.
I love how detailed the park was and that there was just so many things to keep kids entertained for hours .
Cafe was really good with large portions of food that was not salty but full of flavour.
Staff loved interacting with the kids ,were really polite ,enthusiastic and took pride in their jobs.
Overall
Very very good value for the money and 100% worth it
Will be definitely visiting again hopefully with a party of family members.

A complete package of thrill, fun and exploration for the little explorers. The farm themed park has a lot to offer starting with family friendly yet thrill rides that little ones can’t simply resist. My little one enjoyed doing the happy horses, train ride and crazy barnyard ride - of of them couple of times. It has got a decent softplay area too right at the entrance, along side the cafe and icecream bars. The animated shows run throughout the day at the show barns and the adventure playgrounds are quite massive and located at the centre of the park. There’s one little explorers playground as well with lots or animal sheds nearby offering seating areas. My little daughter couldn’t only do the doggy roller coaster as the ride closed at 4pm only strictly, but for next time sure. We had an unmissable and unforgettable adventure time her in this park in Brentwood, for sure.

Returned for our annual.years Halloween visit.
Bit disappointed to find the Halloween walk through bit was closed off however realised upon checking that we were a day early. Decided to make the most of it and enjoy the rides.
Took some really lovely Halloween photos of my girls lots of perfect back drops and props available throughout the park
Staff were lovely especially the man on the train ride. Staff on both coffee stations were friendly and my daughter's both enjoyed a delicious custom made hot chocolates in after eight and unicorn.
Animals looked happy and with plenty of space to roam around. It was lovely to see the pig foraging for plants and eating on the grass.
Two lovely carousels, a rollercoaster and several other rides plus the staff make this place a really fun day out for all the family

Myself and my husband had our 50th birthday here on Thursday in the Manhattan suite. We had a meeting with Piyush last year and we felt confident that he would deliver a fantastic party . We can honestly say that everything was absolutely perfect , the food was amazing and they catered for those with allergies .all catering supervisors were accommodating . All our guests loved every dish served on the night . Piyush popped into the party throughout the night to ensure all was well Bar had all the drinks required . Security at the doors too which made it feel safer . Bathrooms were very clean . We are so pleased we had the party here in the end. We will now be having other events here in the future . Very rare to have a truly World Class experience.
From the start, Piyush and his team took great care of us. We had a “Ameen” Quran completion party for 85 people in the manhattan suite. Beautiful seats, great views, staff were friendly and accommodating.
The food- oh lord - absolutely delicious halal food, excellent choice of starters and mains.

We were recently invited to a wedding at The City Pavilion and made the journey there by car – my wife and I were both quite curious about what the venue would be like. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior was really lovely – clean, elegant, and well-suited to the occasion. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was nicely set up for the celebration.
The food was just right – perfectly matched to the event. It was well-prepared, served efficiently, and there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Came with my daughter for lunch. It's been many years since I had been. It was ver quiet. The lady served us our drinks was very nice. We got the menus and took them outside to read. I visited for the first time with my family recently, and it's okay. The shows are affordable, and the drinks and snacks aren't too overpriced here. It is great to have something like this in the area.
However, there were some cons for us. The sound quality wasn't great. We saw School of Rock so being a musical, it was heavily reliant on the sound being good. The acoustics aren't great, which is forgivable for a small theatre, but the whole show, the vocals were quieter than the music, so it made it hard to hear most of the lyrics which was a shame.
And the worst con of them all was the chairs. My goodness, they are one of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. All of us were complaining of back ache and numb bottoms even just by the intermission. I personally found myself distracted by the discomfort I was experiencing and not being able to pay attention some of the time. It is a shame, and unfortunately for me, it has probably turned me off of the idea of returning unless there is something I desperately want to see that's worth the pain because it spoils the experience.
Other than that, all the staff were really lovely, it's clearly well looked after and it is a very sweet theatre, but it seems like it's going to be a one off for us. I will update if I ever go again and they've got new chairs 🤣

This theatre truly is a gem in the middle of Romford. I have been to a few shows here over the past few years including Elf, Peter Rabbit, Frozen, Disney School of Rock, Beauty and the Beast and I have just come back from The Twits. The quality of the shows are just amazing and I always leave with a big smile on my face and I can't wait to return. The theatre itself is lovely and very clean and has all you need with a car park right next door. This theatre holds a special place in my heart.

I went to see the windmill with a group of local Cub Scouts. The volunteers from the windmill were so accommodating and friendly. They gave us a tour of the windmill and explained to us how it worked. We went around the windmill in small groups and each group had at least two guides. The guides were safety conscious and advised us all of the hazards, especially the children.
The windmill is not accessible to disabled people, mainly due to its age and design.
I thoroughly recommend visiting the windmill, see their website for open days.

This is our second diving experience with Bespoke. We did our specialty dry suit training. The whole Bespoke team is superb. Paul and Jan are kind and organised, always checking in with a smile and a joke. For our pool session, we were trained by both Cerys and Matt. Cerys worked especially hard helping us to get set up with the correct suits and making sure that we were comfortable. Matt was knowledgeable and considerate, with Rory being a fantastic help too. We did our in-water dive today at Vobster Quay, and were again blown away by how the whole team was hands-on-deck and happy to help. Zac was our instructor, with Matt and Anirban assisting. We felt safe and supported. Zac was patient, encouraging, and his experience shines through his teaching. Matt showed us some cute crayfish he had seen the day before which was a lovely treat. Anirban made sure that my partner was safe by helping him through a low-vis silt cloud. I cannot recommend Bespoke more, go diving with them!

Booked the Open water & dry suit course in anticipation for an upcoming trip. Pace of the course was great and each tutor was as valuable as the last as each taught us different techniques.

I decided to treat my son to a Discover Scuba Diving experience which he absolutely loved and is now embarking on his PADI Open Water qualification.
The team are just brilliant! So welcoming and friendly with a wealth of very experienced and PADI qualified instructors, carefully coaching students of all levels through their various courses. All under the watchful eye of Paul as Course Director and founder of the club.
All equipment is provided for beginners and the enthusiasm is infectious.

I treated my son to a Discover Scuba session for his 10th birthday, and it was an incredible experience! The course included approximately one hour of theory and another hour in the pool, which was the perfect balance.
We were lucky to have Mark as our instructor. He was absolutely wonderful, he was full of energy, excitement, and fun. His bubbly personality immediately put us at ease, and he was fantastic with my son I think he is a natural with kids, He encouraged and praised my son throughout the session, making it such a positive experience.
The session began with some theory, a short video, and a quick quiz to ensure everything was understood. Then, my son got to practice essential PADI scuba skills and spent nearly an hour underwater, doing several laps at the bottom of the pool. He loved every minute of it!
I would highly recommend Bespoke Scuba for anyone considering an introduction to scuba diving. It was an amazing experience, and I would definitely recommend Bespoke Scuba to anyone considering it.

Love Romford, it's people and this shopping centre, situated just in the centre of Romford. It is 5 minutes walk from Romford railway station and many buses run nearby. Though at the moment there is no wheelchair accessible entrance, but that might be improved by the soon coming modernisation. All shops, coffees and resting places are on the Ground floor. No playground for children, but now there is exhibition of extinct prehistoric animals in their full-size and moving several parts of their bodies. Quite impressive for grown-ups, too!
There are also toilets and adjoining big car park.

There was enough space for bowling, arcade games, and other activities. However, the pins or cones for a few lanes, especially lanes 26 and 27, kept falling down without the ball being thrown at them. One of the staff members, who wore glasses, was unprofessional. Though there was ramp at the extreme but I suggested implementing more movable ramps for easy accessibility for people with disabilities, but she took it negatively.

Booked for birthday party for my child. The party booking was awful. No music in separated bowling alley,horrible birthday room which needs painting. Bare minimum service. Food was ok. Came with a few work friends for a bowling sesh in the evening its a nice ambiance here, entrance around the side of the City Pavilion with a range of arcade games inside. All went smoothly apart from random glitches with the lane where the pins stopped setting that took time to fix each time it happened, and the worn down seating could be improved. Tried the kinder shake at the bar which tasted great & staff were helpful. There is parking up front but can be very busy so come early, and local bus routes (e.g. 247,66) stop around the corner. I visited Kids Space Romford today with my 6-year-old daughter. We arrived shortly before 5 PM, only to be told that they were closing in 50 minutes. While we were still welcome to come in, we had to pay the full price of £20 — £14.50 for my daughter and £5.50 for an accompanying adult.
What was especially disappointing was that, due to a private birthday party happening somewhere on the premises, the climbing walls — one of the main attractions and the reason my daughter wanted to come — were unavailable. I found it really unfair to be charged the full price when a key feature was out of service, and especially for such a short amount of time. Their website says they’re open until 6 PM, but we were told they’d actually be closing around 10 minutes to 5.
It also wasn’t particularly busy, which made me wonder why there wasn’t at least one staff member available to supervise the climbing area. That felt like a missed opportunity to make things work, even with a party going on.
The tables in the café area were quite messy, which I understand at the end of the day, but it still made it hard to find a clean place to sit. A quick clean-up would’ve made a big difference.
As always at Kids Space, it’s a very loud environment — which is to be expected — but the kids definitely enjoy themselves. While it turned out to be an expensive and slightly frustrating visit today, the most important thing is that my daughter still had some fun.
That said, I’m honestly a bit disappointed. Given how limited the experience was, I think a bit of flexibility on the pricing would have been the fair thing to do.

Officially a member. My son loves it here and we go at least 2/3 times a week. Baby changing stations are always clean, staff are friendly and food area is reasonably priced.
Only downside is that the 0-4 play area ALWAYS has older children, not their fault, its the parents however there should be a staff member monitoring regularly. I do not feel safe to have my 1 year old being pushed by big 7 year old kids when they have their own separate area there.

There are plenty of comfortable seating areas with great sightlines, allowing adults to relax with a coffee while still keeping a easy eye on their adventurers. The staff we interacted with were friendly and clearly dedicated to maintaining a happy atmosphere. We left with three exhausted, smiling children who haven’t stopped talking about it since. It’s worth every penny for a full day of fantastic, energy-burning fun!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Kidspace Romford! It’s the perfect place for kids to burn off energy while parents can relax knowing they’re in a safe and fun environment. A relatively decent number of arcade games for the kids. The games are £1 so you can rack up costs very quickly. Would advise you to get your kids to pace themselves.
Most of the games give you reward tickets after playing (better score = greater number of tickets). You can then exchange tickets for gifts at the gift shop. You would need to have spent a fortune on games to get any worthwhile gift though. However, kids love the idea of winning tickets and my fatigued for example is only interested in playing games where she has a chance of getting more tickets, no matter how many times I tell her to select games she will enjoy and not worry about tickets.

Staff was very rude and dismissive, me and my friend wanted to to take photobooth pictures but the machine was faulty and took in the money and even the extra, it didnt even give out the picture that was taken. We asked the front desk, very dismissive attitude and they told us to go to this guy that could help us. We had our party on the 28th of July 2018.

The place is unhygenic. I was there for 2 hours and the staff were too busy chatting to eachother the entire time rather than clear all the mess on the floor that looked like it had been there for days... food scattered through the entire floor. The tables were digusting with crockery needing to be cleared. The toilet was filthy and smelt. The nappy bin was overflowing. The actual soft play areas were grubby and black.. dont think they have been cleaned for awhile, if you wanted anything to eat, (which the state I wouldn't of) the fridge had 1 can of coke in it and a few fruit shoots.. practically empty. This is a really neglected place. Staff there ignored the customers and what environment they were in... very unfriendly. There are 2 small areas of soft play and the kids run around all the tables to get to the other area and then run out right near where they serve hot drinks... an accident waiting to happen here I feel! This with better Management could be a good place to visit but at the moment is awful.

An amazing library, attentive staff with a child friendly calming environment. The library holds a safe space for independent learning, fantastic reads and days dedicated to children's activities, that adults can partake in too! Great park to go relax and have a walk around with a combination of water, woodland and open field space to break up your day.
Perfect place for a nice day out with the family or some quiet time alone.
There is free parking available across the road (but you have to register your stay via Ringo or the machine available or you will get a ticket)
The walk around the exterior of the park would take roughly 30 minutes. The children’s park is located in the opposite corner to the lake. There are also tennis courts available for free booking with information available in and around the courts on how to book them out.
There is a large green area for anyone looking to have a picnic or do outdoor sports. If you forgot your picnic or don’t want to bring your own food there is a lovely cafe located near the lake which you can visit with indoor and outdoor seating. From what I remember they are dog friendly also.
Overall a great park for use by all and well maintained by the grounds team.
