A mixture of full hookups, water + electric, and rustic sites. Most are very generous spaces with vegetation surrounding for privacy. The bath houses are well equipped and maintained. There are some walking trails and the campground is close to Brookings (only 15 min walk to town). Will definitely come back here when we are next on the Oregon coast!

The plentiful rocks in the water add to the dramatic mood at sunset. The beach itself is ok, seemed a little messy. There's a lot of driftwood and sea detritus on the beach (stinky kelp and seaweed) and it can get flooded with large ponds due to the profile of the beach. There's also a creek that drains across the sand which you have to cross, and while I'm hoping most of the runoff in this part of the world is clean, I don't know what kind of stuff drains here, from street runoff and so forth. Can get busy, there is a campground here so people will often set up tents and canopies to occupy an area all day.

It truly deserves 5 stars. The location is fantastic, with the beautiful beach just a quick 5-minute walk from the campground – perfect for our morning strolls and watching the sunset together. There are plenty of fantastic, dog-friendly trails right within the park, and even more amazing hiking options just a short 20-minute drive away. We wwere absolutely blown away by the nearby redwood forests – truly unbelievable and a must-see! We stayed in Loop B, space 11, and found it to be wonderfully large and comfortable. While backing our 39ft rig in took a little maneuvering, the space itself was great once we were settled. For whoever looking for those truly premium spots with jaw-dropping ocean views, definitely try to book sites 20, 24, or 25 – on Loop A, they looked incredible! A huge plus for us, especially since I was working remotely, was the T-Mobile 5G coverage – it was surprisingly strong and reliable throughout our stay. It made handling work tasks seamless while being surrounded by such beauty. While we love using our Starlink, the excellent 5G meant we didn't need to set it up this time. For fellow Starlink users, it's worth noting that Loop B might be challenging due to potential obstructions from the gorgeous, super-tall redwood trees. Loop A, particularly spots along the main road with clearer sky views, might be a better bet if Starlink is your primary internet source. SIDE NOTE: We noticed a family nearby, clearly new to RVing, really struggling to back their trailer into their spot. After watching them try for about an hour with dozens of attempts, we decided to offer a hand, even though you sometimes hear it's best not to interfere. They were incredibly grateful, and it felt good to help them get parked up so they could finally start relaxing. We really believe there's nothing offensive about offering help, especially when someone is visibly having a tough time. I don't recommend that unless you're very comfortable parking in the dark. It's very dark here at night. Staff is remarkably helpful. We didn't use the restrooms so I can't speak to that. Our site was practically level; took very little tinkering. Utilities in great shape, well maintained. Plenty of sky for our starlink. I think t mobile worked fine here, too. Very spacious and private sites. Plenty of space for chairs, etc. Not far from Crescent City but a much better campground than you will find there. The two nights we were here, we only heard the ocean. No loud neighbors or traffic whatsoever. The picture attached was taken from the edge of our site. We really can't wait to come back!!

I wished I had brought my walking stick to help with balance though. The beach is very loose small gravel mostly and moves a lot when you walk on it, so expect a good workout. Enjoyed seeing the massive stump near here as well as the rocky shoreline. Spotted some cute little fish in the tide pools and some sea lions on the rocks a bit farther out. The disc golf area and dog park looked nice too. Saw a few other people here but it was not crowded. There is a enough parking for a dozen or more vehicles. The views are wonderful even if you just stick to the area around the parking lot and don't hike down to the beach.

Waves were very high when we first arrived and were a little concerned about walking down the beach. Got lucky and was able to walk around the corner and a large beach area presented itself to us!!!
