In that time the team at our monkey club have become very much a part of our family. He attended for 3 hour sessions & it was the first time and place that had had full responsibility for our son without us there since he was born. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we were not even allowed in beyond the gates on his first day. Yet the staff & managers were and have always been great. Reassuring us as parents & caring for and nurturing our son from the very start. He has thrived at the setting and has developed in ways we could never have imagined that he would so easily and readily. We do give him some credit for his 'can do' attitude, but his individual mentor member of staff (although this has changed with new staff in & some moving on jobs) have all brought this out of him. He loves going to Monkey Club come rain, snow, wind or sun & we always have the confidence he is looked after and nurtured well. He now attends for 6 hour periods, with healthy nutritious lunch also provided. This is preparing him well for the transition in 13 months time to move up to Primary School & his reports will paint a very detailed picture of who he is and all aspects of his developmental path, all by the Monkey Club staff investment. We are forever indebted to your input in him & he will definitely miss the fun he has and the relationships with staff & children alike that he has developed. We would definitely recommend this Nursery. Outside the setting fencing there is quite a lot of traffic & also school aged children who pass by and sometimes break or steal the doorbell, but we are reassured that Monkey Club is safe and secure and it is more of a policing and PCSO problem to resolve.
