Highly recommend getting the annual National park pass if you’re in the area as there is so much to see. Even if you’re not staying there you can use the lodges that have restaurants for bathroom and water bottle refill (water station). I was here in April 2023 which they consider the end of off peak about to ramp up into peak season. The park had people but was not packed at all. It was however COLD. At night time in the teens. During the day in the sun was in the 40s but at soon as the sun started to go down or if you were in a shaded area it was more in the 20-30s. Dress warm depending on time of year!!
