Really a beautiful and stunning place in Islamabad. You will get a stunning view of the whole city and it is very exciting to watch from there. Mostly it is smoggy from over this point but it is worth it visiting there. You can see a few international tourists there and you can get a chance to meet and greet them and have some pictures.
There is a small restaurant also available here and a snack shop. Please visit this place at 5 to 8 PM as it is hot and very sunny in afternoon. If you want better pictures with great colors then visit in the morning.

2. No proper Mosque/Masjid for Prayers (BTW Pakistan is a Leading Islamic Country).

Margilla hills national park is one of the more well maintained national parks of Pakistan. It is also probably the most easily accessible one, too. Flaura and fauna of the park are so breathtaking. Wildfires do occur though, almost every year.
The park is as safe as it gets, for a national park, since it is close to the city, data signals do appear from time to time, it is easy to call for help, animal encounters are also common but not dangerous.
The park offers about 7 different trails. All of which are worth trekking through. Trail 5 is the most well maintained with proper markings throughout the trail. I also recommend trail 3 and new one, trail 7. Before travelling, you may need to confirm if they are open or not, as a local I know that trail 6 has been close for quite some time now to protect wildlife whereas trail 5 was also closed for a week in August 2025.
There are different rock climbing spots across the parks, most famous of which is Beetle's nest located behind Saidpur Village.
Then, there's different camping spots in the parks, most common of which is trail 5 camping spot.
Furthermore, there are some historical spots in the Margilla hills as well, such as Shah Allah Dita caves.
Overall, The whole park cannot really be visited in just a day. My recommendation is to stay at least a week in nearby Islamabad and explore it. To be fair, I have been living in Islamabad for 10+ years and I have not really been able to explore all of it so It is justifiable. There are many other spots that I have visited in the park, which are not really mapped on Google Maps, such as the plane crash site in margilla hills

We really enjoyed our visit to Rose & Jasmine Garden. The park was neat, clean, and well maintained, making it a pleasant place to relax. There’s a small swing area for kids, which is a nice touch for families. A canteen is available at the entrance for snacks and drinks, which was convenient.

The museum has some amazing specimens but the maintenance is really disappointing. The whale skeleton is covered in so much dust that it looks dull instead of impressive, and the lighting is far below museum standards. The basement was closed during my visit, which made the experience feel incomplete.
On the positive side, the fiberglass models are beautifully done, and the bee life section is one of the highlights very engaging and well presented. The rock formation gallery is also excellent and worth seeing. Unfortunately, the whale shark preservation is way below standard and takes away from what could have been a spectacular display.

Today, my wife was drinking slush and the guard just said "pee kar ayen ya rakhwa den". That wasn't good part for me as I don't love that. I was going back but my wife said me to let it go and she drank some of it but we had to throw it in dustbin with half of it.

Although, there are 2 games but those machine do malfunction for tickets and grabbing one is totally disaster for money.
3D games are a bit okay as many people uses it. Also, it was very expensive.
The good thing today was when we visited in the morning and we were playing TEKKEN 7 on PS. Electricity went out and we had to stop in middle. In evening, when we visited again and I told him about morning he gave us 15 min extra. That's good part as they do good.

Pretty ordinary place to visit. They take you inside Dino valley for 300. Then to explore any further you need to pay 900 to see dancing dinosaurs. An amazing experience
If you are new, the card is for Rs100 and you have to add a minimum of 1500Rs but if you already own one, then the minimum recharge can be Rs. 500.
Absolutely worth every penny. We started with the soft corner for 900Rs (one and a half hour limit). My niece loved every corner of it especially the section with balls.
You can just leave the kids in for hours without any worry as it is very safe and so much fun!!
For the other swings, they were a bit costly if you compare it with their time duration. Pay 250-300Rs for literally two minutes on it. Still, our overall experience was very good.
The staff is very friendly and cooperative.

Outstanding place for kids, especially the soft play area is a must go. We get our Card loaded with PLR 3,000 getting an extra PKR 600 bonus balance. The rate of soft play area is almost PKR 1,000 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Kids love the place, its so engaging. If i compare it to any play area in Faisalabad (my hometown) its far ahead in terms of safety, ambiance and gentry. Love it, highly recommended. Update after 3 years
A very good place for kids to have fun indoors. The rides used to be economical but not anymore. Most rides are 250 to 300. Something I didn't appreciate was a machine with 50 rupees snacks in it and to play the game you have to spend 250, I mean who came up with it? Similarly there was a machine with 10 or 50 rupee currency notes and to play you have to spend 250. This is just a trap for kids to play and parents to spend more. If you are going there keep a budget of at least 4000 per kid.
The main attraction is probably the trampoline area and slides area where the kids can play for an hour and a half. Good thing is males are not allowed in that area and only females can attend to the kids. Staff is very cooperative as well.
An area where they can really improve is not having good food options at all. For a place where average family spends an hour or two, they should have good food options.
Overall a good place for kids still in Islamabad as there is no other similar place of this level.

It's a good place for enjoying with kids. A decent environment and ambiance will make your stay comfortable. When you check in, you are forced to purchase a new card, and you can top up by 1000 minimum. You can get offers on 3000 and 5000. We got same amount of tickets from basketball game even after scoring difference was quite huge. I belive its just an offer for the candy. The upper floor is not in use, which may be utilized for commissioning of more games. I would strongly recommend adding more games and rationalization of price. They have Coffee Planet and Walls outlets which were under utilized during my stay. The worst thing is that the physical activity area is too costly. I would say that it's an enjoyable place but not for regular visits since it has low variety of games with high prices.

So the experience was one of it's kind tbh! But it was a bit too expensive keeping in mind the kind of adventure and activity offered. Freaking alot of QUAIDS+Tax! That hurts but we still wanted to give it a try.
The other concern was that the hint screen took really long to operate which actually wasted our couple of minutes in such a time bound game!
Lastly, once a group successfully gets out of the room and wins, they should be awarded with something as a token of appreciation and REMEMBRANCE! A shirt printed with PANIQ Room or a custom photo frame, a custom mug/key chain like could be anything. So if you're charging freaking 4500+/person how much would a top/mug/key chain will cost you?!
And yeah introduce more themes too. Also it would be more fun to add some humanly element in the escape rooms.
But yeah, the staff was super friendly and lively to host us.

Visited Islamabad Museum on a friend’s recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the outside, it looks like a modest place, but once you enter, you’re welcomed into a massive hall with beautifully hand-painted panels narrating the story of the subcontinent.
One wall illustrates events from the Mughal era to the War of 1857, while the other walks you through the Muslim renaissance and struggle for independence, with artwork attributed to Kausar Jahan and her daughter.
Further in, you’ll find a metal bust of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, along with photos of Pakistan’s world heritage sites. Beyond that lies the main museum hall, showcasing eras from the Stone Age, Gandhara period, to the Mughals.
Everything is well-organized, labelled, and supported with QR codes for deeper insight. The caretakers were friendly, informative, and even gave us a guided tour. A highlight was learning about artefacts smuggled abroad and returned by the USA, now proudly displayed.
Surprisingly, we had the entire museum to ourselves on a weekend evening, making the visit feel even more special. Can’t wait to go back once their new gallery is up.

An excellent option especially if you are coming to Multi zoo (which is right in front of the mall) with your family and your children. The pricing system is exactly like Joyland and Sinbad where you charge money in your specialized card and then take rides by swiping the cards on the ticket monitors. The prices are right on par with all other amusement parks rather they are cheaper than Joyland as most kiddie rides are 120Rs average and games where you can earn tickets are around 180Rs average.
They have some big rides as well for group rounds where even 12-15 people can take a ride at a time. Particularly impressed with the 9D Virtual ride (adventure video ride is recommended) which was much better than any other ride I have taken in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
The BEST thing was that they had gifts starting from 30 tickets whereas the gifts at Joyland/Sinbad begin from 100+

I recently visited yoyo Land and it was a fantastic experience! The place is filled with vibrant colors and a cheerful atmosphere. I appreciated the staff patience, especially in the more crowded areas. The play equipment is in excellent condition, and there are plenty of staff members supervising the more active areas.
The pricing is reasonable considering the variety of activities and the quality of the experience. Cheaper as compare to Centaurus, Giga and other fun lands in islamabd and pindi.

Very good and cosy mall, not too many people and you have mostly everything you need. I frequently visit Adidas , Nike or Cambridge for clothes since they are all imported and last a long time but there is no shortage of local brands as well.
There are soo many discounts in this mall and that is another reason to go here.
Parking is a nightmare so bring a driver or park far away, if your lucky you can get parking in the malls areas if not then you have to do some cardio.
