The picture of the grilled squid drew me in, however, when we ordered they were out. My second choice was the cod and let me tell you….WOW!! SCAMMERS!!! AVOID!!! - If I could give 0 starts I would! From the very beginning Maria and Jason were very rude and unprofessional. You have to book via WhatsApp - I messaged them months prior to our holiday to book onto this boat trip to celebrate mine and my partners anniversary. I attempted to message 3 times, I was ignored for days. In the end I had to get my partner to message them and he then eventually got a very blunt response. They never seemed happy to gain our clientele. We eventually put a deposit down to secure our spot on the boat. Once we arrived in Cala Dor I was highly recommending them to couples we had met from what I had seen from social media and sending out their contact number so others could enquire and enjoy what should be a nice experience. One particular time I accidentally dialled the call button but ended it immediately, it didn't even have time to ring, however it still showed I tried to call them on WhatsApp. I then woke up to a message from Maria and Jason which said "Your reservation is cancelled don't appreciate getting a call at night, come and collect your deposit tonight between 19:30-20:00 from the marina". (May I add this message was sent to me by them both at 4:50am, I can see you both are okay messaging people outside of working and sociable hours when it suits you...) I then went on to explain that it was not intentional to call, I was only giving someone your contact and continuously apologised asking for their forgiveness and understanding. They read my message immediately and ignore it for hours. Hours passed I was still hoping I'd get a response but didn't so I messaged them again and justified myself, it was clear they didn't want to hear what I had to say as I was told I am not a priority to them... nice one guys. I explained we had a pre-booked and a prepaid taxi to get us to the marina which was €40. That was non refundable as it needed to be cancelled within 24h to get a full refund and they did not see that as their problem. I know from social media people have visited their boat from all over the world, so I'm sure it's very common for people to try call, message and enquiry their contact number due to many different times zones. When I finally got a response they were very blunt, petty and rude. They never accepted my accidental call was a genuine mistake. I asked for them to bank transfer our deposit on 18/7 back as I was not going to travel half an hour each way and spend €80 round trip to get a deposit back when they was the ones to cancel the tour. This was finally accepted after multiple requests, when I sent my details over I was told they was not correct, when I was certain they was as they were copied and pasted directly from my online banking account!... very clear they was trying to get out of transferring the deposit back to us.... they did not send the deposit back after 5/6 days and after alerting my bank they had not done so, all of a sudden it miraculously appeared... After reading other reviews I can see we are not the only ones who have been made to feel disappointed by Maria and Jason - ignored, sporadically dismissed, spoken down to and cancelled on. I can see that they have even blocked some paying customers before. Since this happened we have bumped into people who have experienced this tour and they were not impressed with the hospitality and hosts. Rude, up tight and made people not to feel welcomed and comfortable. I was even told that the boat was very dated and could do with a make over. The videos on social media did not always reveal the truth. I would highly consider you take your money elsewhere and give it to a business that appreciates and invites you openly to their boat and doesn't cancel over the most ridiculous and outrageous reasons, especially when it's an accidental event. Maria and Jason - some advice, maybe just turn your phone off at night. People will be keen for your services in and out of working hours, especially as you work within hospitality for tourists from all areas of the world. Do better!
