The entrance to the bar is via a door which has a phone number written on it (very small size near the door key hole). You have to call the number for someone to come out and open the door. Once inside you are led down to the fantastic speakeasy bar. There are multiple rooms in the bar where you can choose to sit in. Ordered 4 cocktails, and each one of them was absolutely fantastic. My favourite cocktail was the Kuro Dragon and I would strongly recommend trying this. Among the other drinks I ordered, the “Prayer to Mayahuel” was a nice easy cocktail, and the “Velvet Bond” was a fabulous sprit forward cocktail. Service was brilliant. I did not have a reservation but was able to get a bar counter seat immediately as I walked in. But I visited on a weekday where crowds might be low. Maybe it’s best to do a reservation. All in all, this bar is a must visit if you’re in Tallinn. 100% the best cocktail bar in Tallinn.

Other than my few observations regarding the things to be improved, I certainly have nothing to complain about. The overall experience, albeit there should be a few improvements, was so pleasant that I am granting this place five stars instead of four. We visited it during Restaurant Week and ordered the seafood menu which included blue mussels in cream and wine sauce and an octopus dish. The mussels were probably the best I’ve had in Tallinn and the presentation was really good, served with Belgian waffles. The octopus dish also came with baby potatoes and shrimps. Everything was perfectly cooked - this dish was a favorite as well. The menu is quite extensive, so we’re definitely planning to return and try even more. The atmosphere is great, with a nosier area that feels more like a bar, as well as a quieter section where you can enjoy your meal in peace. The service was friendly and fairly quick. I went for dinner here with a friend and we both loved every part of it. The restaurant design is fresh and cozy, but the food is something else. We really enjoyed every bit of our meal. The spicy jalapeno poppers with smoked cheese and sour cream was a hot sensation and so refreshingly presented and went perfectly with the wine selected by our waiter. We both love the ploughman’s board for two – cured meat, cheeses, chicken liver pate, olives, grapes and local jam. The best quality meat was coupled with cheese and jam that complemented it perfectly. For main course, I can’t recommend anything more highly than the roasted duck breast with seasonal vegetables, beets and miso sesame glaze. my freind had the marbled Rib-Eye steak with chimichurri sauce and honey-mustard salad; both were sensational. Then there were the desserts. These look great and taste even better. We went for lemongrass mousse, exotic fruit salad, and hazelnut crumble and then the chocolate and goats cheese cake, made with cheese from Kalamatsi farm and sea salt. Once again, we just shared and ate some of both. It really is the only way to get around this amazing menu!

We had goat tacos (14€) and beef sandwich (15€), and it was true for both dishes. Quite overpriced for the foodcourt too. Service should also pay a bit more attention to customers requests. We asked for Guaraná and as it was a regular 330ml we said we’ll share. Non the less they served the whole can in one huge glass (did they truly suppose sharing means drinking from the same glass??) On a brighter side, the place has its own tabes, which are cleaner and cosier. The food cooks very fast too, no need to wait for 20-30min like in other places.
