I stop here with friends for a drink every once in a while. The bar is always busy but there is a quick turnover. Some people go to this bar for a quick drink. There is only one bartender behind the bar and he is good with his service for everyone. He is fast serving people and mixing drinks. He remembers always what people are drinking and knows what people want. The pub has all kinds of drinks but I like that they serve Guinness, Murphy's and Beamish stout on tap. I enjoy Beamish because it is smoother than the others but it is great that I can choose. With hard drinks, they serve almost everything you crave. It will be nice to have cider on tap but they only have bottles. Overall this is a nice small pub to enjoy a drink a nice time with friends. And I like that there are no phones allowed to be used in the pub.

This is a place that markets itself as an alternative bar and I was only showing my shoulders, yet was removed. They followed me into the bathroom and there was not an issue before this. Yet after I left the restroom two security guards followed and escorted me out. If you are truly a part of the alternative community, do not come here as you will not be welcome.

I went with the Classic burger that comes with nice chunky chips. The Classic burger it's self was a 6oz monster it felt moe like a very tasty double quarter pounder. One of the most messiest and tastiest burgers I had in long time. Glad I could just about finish it. Be prepared, this is a delicious juicy messy burger! Fast service great chef, great bar staff. The inside of the pub the decor and vibe is decorated very interestingly and very cozy. Grabs your attention where ever you look.  The DJ box made of a little camper van is a great centre piece. It also has  a football table machine for a bit of fun.

I was part of a group of 6, we were seated at the rear which was great as it was less noisy and away from the foot fall. Food has limited choices but the quality was excellent and prices were average for the area. At the end of a 7 week adventure from New Zealand we spent our last two nights falling in love with Irish Countryside and people. The most fantastic gardens and walks through exquisite oak and Rowan tree forests, with Mulberries, blue bells, ivy and fairy doors. It felt like the magic of the Irish legends surrounded us. The front door covered in flowering wisteria kept the magic alive and the entry hall with the grandeur of the sweeping halls and old oak wood made us feel welcome and safe. The food was fresh, local and seasonal with a hint of herbs that excited the pallet. The food was good, but definitely not good enough to warrant the 3 hours of mostly waiting around and watching other tables be attended to. It’s such a disappointment as I had read such good things about this beautiful location.

The menu is highly original and adventurous and the taste and presentation more than match it's ambition.
