If you're from the West Coast at least their beers are worse than the in house beers at BJs restaurants. And what I though was a safe bet to order fish and chips turned out to be disgusting but I was too hungry and too afraid to send it back to the kitchen. It was paper thin, tasted weeks old frozen and defrosted in the microwave and was definitely "fishy". The chicken tacos were a little better. It was very windy/chilly so they proactively asked us if we wanted to sit inside and it was better temperature but worse view so a mixed bag. People outside had blankets provided by the restaurant. Women had their hair flying around like in a convertible on the highway. The windows inside are so-so, similar to covered ski lift where pics are somewhat obstructed. The jazz bad/singer were both good. The food was also good (cauliflower appetizer and diavolo pizza, ella fitz cocktail, espresso martini). Price was ok. The table we sat at was a high-top for 2 which was a bit awkward, 1 seat was a narrow stool. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We were able to walk down to the Sunset restaurant’s bar for drinks after but it was too cold/windy though weather app said 72 degrees. If we had a do-over we would have probably have preferred the sunset restaurant (also had music) but it was too chilly/windy for any outdoor option really in late June at night. The hostess checked us in so when we arrived upstairs they were ready for us and we're seated immediately. The place itself is designed just like the name, stairs to take you up to a bar that also serves bar food. They had TVs with soccer on and a local rock band. We were sat quickly and met with a great server. Ordered a mojito which was delicious. We didn’t try the food but saw plenty of folks eating and they seemed to enjoy. Would recommend for a pre dinner drink or just a hang to watch soccer or listen to live music.

Since I was quite buzzed off a few Modelo beers as well as tequila tasting, I might as well go all out and give their margaritas a try. I ended up going with a "Classic Margarita" on the rocks with no salt which was $140 Mexican Pesos = $7 US dollars while our friend got a "Mango Margarita" blended which came to $180 Mexican Pesos = $9 US dollars. Not bad considering that these things were huge while these prices in the United States go for at least a few dollars more. After receiving my margarita, I was wowed with how huge this thing was. And I will say this.. if you haven't tried the tequila in Mexico, I highly recommend it because it goes down as smooth as silk. I gulped down every last sip of this while getting even more of a buzz to fulfill my Sunday funday and Cabo San Lucas experience. To those that have more time to visit a place like this, they are open 10am-12am seven days a week. The bar area is relatively small and quaint but there are several tables to enjoy your margarita. All in all, "Monkey Business Bar" is the real deal. With well over a dozen unique types of margaritas as well as a few mojitos, this place has you covered. Great service, amazing colorful atmosphere, good vibes, low prices, and strong drinks that will please many people. My rating, a unanimous five stars!
