The route on Google maps is wrong (the correct route is about 200m before the final left turn as shown on Google; just after a small bridge over the stream). You have to walk through a forest trail which can be hard to find, but if you do there is about 1.5km. The final 600m climb is quite difficult especially if rainy. But once you reach the destination it feels like door to heaven. Water as anyone can imagine was chilly but on a sunny day is perfect for a dip with full freedom. There are a few more paths from there to explore and since the waterfall is quite high you can reach at various heights from breathtaking views. Don't take a tumble on your way down 😬!

Loads of parking - we’d spent hours at the 3 lochs drive before coming here and still managed to find a space. The ladies who were working in the visitor centre were so friendly and knowledgeable. We brought our own packed lunch and sat on the grass near the centre to eat. Keep a look out for the mirrored silhouettes in the forest (white coloured trail), these are cool and a little eery.

Nursing staff asked if I had money for a taxi when I arrived in nothing but my underwear after my dress was cut off.
