Main reason for not coming earlier was the lack of booking options and as they are quite popular there’s always waiting list. Important to arrive early or without wanting to eat just as you arrive. But other than that the evening was really enjoyable, to start we ordered the small portion of calamari, that were deliciously cooked without over frying them. Rucula salad is always our favourite , and with this one we were greatly surprised with the parmesan, very thinly sliced but deep in flavour. And of course we were trying the pizzas. My favourite is always the prosciutto with cheese and it really met the standards. Specially the dough and the tomato sauce! Really delicious. The other pizza was mortadella with burrata and pistachio, and the combination was absolutely lovely. This time there was no more room for desserts, however they all sounded epic. Staff were super nice and on top of everything. We won’t delay our next visit.

The friendly person who greeted us very quickly had a table sorted for us. And boy are we glad he did. Where to start. The atmosphere whilst frenetic and a touch noisy also made the experience that much better. The team that took care of us were there when you needed and kept out of the way when you didn’t. The food definitely made up for the patchy service. Was amazing food slightly let down by the service. The young girl who was looking after the area I was seated in could not answer basic questions about the menu and was hard to flag down. The staff were attentive and lovely and were able to accommodate gluten free food for me easily. I believe they said there gluten free pasta was handmade by them (don't quote me). It is a small space, so depending on how many people are there it can get noisy, but it was still easy to talk and focus on our experience.

If they still have the pistachio panzerotti when you visit, absolutely do not miss out. A large traditional Italian menu but with enough twists to make it interesting - plus specials. The rabbit pasta was excellent. Light and beautifully balanced, so all the flavours shone through. The small serve of Risotto was served in a flat plate and spread thin flat in about an 6 or 7 inch circle on the plate. this results in the risotto getting cold very quickly even before the plate comes to the table. The serve of risotto or pasta is more of a starter size. We ordered a vegetarian pizza where hardly had any cheese. Had nuts added to the pizza to give it a bit of a crunch. topping only covered about 2 thirds of the pizza and a large portion of the pizza hardly had any topping for a $30+ pizza. there were two different choices of deserts from the menu that were not available. First of all the restaurant itself is beautiful but one small detail that might be petty is the entry. Its very small and whilst waiting to be sat, it can be awkward squeezing past people exiting. We were seated outside which was delightful as we got a beautiful view of the river and city. Our server made us feel welcome and was very attentive. We ordered the arancini to start, ravioli and Ragu and a side of zucchini. I also ordered the Lychee spritz - this was absolutely delicious! The food was ok, arancini tasted great and like you would expect for an arancini to taste. My friend said her ravioli was a bit bland and to be honest, the pappardelle tasted like the one you buy from the fresh section at woolies or coles 😢 the ragu itself was flavourful but I felt like it was also a bit dry maybe because of the pappardelle. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Between the two of us we had some complex allergies and they were very understanding and accommodating. She made our night with her attentiveness and help getting not only a last minute table but finding the last bottle of wine we requested. Personne is in the W Hotel precinct and is really beautiful. Unfortunately (not under their control) there is a lot of roadworks and construction right outside their balcony which would be quite noisy during lunch hour. The set menu was plentiful and spaced appropriately to allow you to enjoy your food without being rushed. The food for us was OK. The salmon was bland and needed more citrus, the Arancini was good as were the meatballs but they were a little dry if you didn't smother in the sauce. Mains were rib eye, gnocchi and fries. The rib eye was good, fries weren't necessary and the gnocchi was actually really flavoursome. My husband is Italian and we have tiramisu regularly so I wasn't a fan on this version. Again it was a large portion but not my taste. Overall, it was good but if we go again and can try foods we can choose it may change my mind.

Awesome venue, very fancy vibes and decor. Appreciated the layout and the general acoustics of the room as it dampened the sound well and having conversations around the table was very easy. The food was delicious. We had an assortment of entrees and for the main I got the pork and beef ragu which was wonderful. Generous portion of protein and overall serving size with beautiful flavours. Solid wine list too. We paired an Italian wine with lunch and it was a great drop. Service was friendly and catered to us well. Meal delivery times was well spaced and gave a good amount of time between appetisers and mains. Someone had a very similar experience 3 weeks ago, and their review was met with similar defensiveness. My ratings regard to service and the food remain justified. We had no idea who our wait person was - regardless of whether they were training or not, that makes for a poor customer experience. Regarding the wine, we were told that the wine, which was $31 per glass was “fruit forward”. It tasted slightly acidic and a bit musty. We were not asked how our meal was when we were paying. We would have happily provided feedback if we’d been asked. Original review: Very affable greeting turned into a prolonged, unorganised ill service. After 15min, we had to wave someone over to place our drink and meal order. Majority of wines are all Italian. The premium wine was corked and upon detailing that, they gave us a replacement which was “put through the strainer a few times”! How about, replace the bottle without elements or cork. In addition, don’t charge me for a wine that was corked (upon noting this they did remove it from the bill). Icing on the cake was when the first waiter asked if we were finished and did the obligatory offerings and then fetched our bill. Less then a minute later their colleague asked us the same exact questions. Suggestion is to have designated waiters for set tables. Foodwise, the pizza is a distant fourth to what you can get in Paddington and the ragu beef cheek pasta was insipid with a raw egg nested on top of the meal. The salad and greens were a stand out. Shame about the disorganised staff and corked Italian wine going for $31 a glass.

Had a booking at 745pm and the place was pumping which was nice to see in the area. The entrees were nice however wasn’t a fan of the lamb skewers as they were a bit smelly but everything else was nice. For the mains everything was okay, nothing stood out but dessert on the other hand was sooo yummy. Highly recommend tiramisu and crème brûlée. Celebrated a birthday and they bought it out with a sparkler which was nice. The wait time between food was quite a while but it looked like there was only a couple chefs for a full house. Our waiter was lovely however, overall service of the restaurant could be improved. No changes of plate/wipe down of table after entrees. Overall would recommend :)

We didn't try any pizza or pasta and I understand Ramona is known for their dough but not sure we'd make the trek across town.

Tucked away but so elegant, warm and welcoming inside. The variety is honestly incredible you can get anything here lots of cheeses and all sorts. I loved that there was both indoor and outdoor seating and it felt both lush and homely at the same time. My friend got the focaccia, which was apparently which she has enjoyed many a time and raves on about often and she devoured it of course. It was confirmed it went through but there was a delay and still on the way so we opted to cancel as it had taken some time and we were already full. Even though we dined early (6pm) on a Sunday night, every table was occupied so I’m glad we booked. Settimo is inside the Westin hotel on Mary Street it would keep us nice and dry. We were pleased with the food and service. My friend ordered eggplant and I had tagliatelle with beef shins. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does feel like a restaurant inside a hotel. A tip re the tip: Australian credit card machines don't have tip option when paying. You have to write down an amount on the receipt and that's what the server enters into the machine for you to then pay. We didn't realize this, being from Canada, so ended up paying and not leading a receipt (no cash either). The tipping culture is very different in AU. I prefer it as service is consistently good and they don't feel entitled to get 20% tip.

I visited Attimi for dinner last Thursday and everything about the restaurant was fantastic. The restaurant, the service, the food and staff are all exceptional. The waiter ran us through the menu, explaining the dishes and what they recommend. My sister came home with raving reviews of this restaurant and was keen to come back with us despite having just gone a month ago, if that doesn’t speak for itself.
