Muszę przyznać, że eclerka z marakują była absolutnie przepyszna — kwaskowata marakuja świetnie komponowała się ze słodką budyniową masą, a lekki karmelowy posmak uzupełniał całość. Klasyczna wersja także zasługuje na pochwałę — idealna konsystencja, delikatne ciasto, nieprzesłodzona masa.
Espresso — tanie, ale zaskakująco dobre. Często kawa w budżetowych miejscach bywa rozcieńczona lub gorzka, ale tutaj każdy łyk był przyjemnością.

光临之前看了好多评论，评价很一般。所以我们也就怀着只是为了打卡而已的心态。没想到，还不错，环境稍微有点挤，食物味道不错，服务人员态度还可以吧，只是没有笑脸。
确实名不虚传，环境超美，很多人都在拍照。点心也很有特色。咖啡店在我们的点餐中最惊艳的竟然是红酒，在点咖啡之外推荐尝一下。
来Majestic cafe打卡只叫了杯 cappocino, 只能说咖啡馆很美，可惜咖啡不好喝，连普通水准都没有。这里消费偏高，其它食物没吃不予置评。
周二早上8点50去吃早餐，不需要等位，有几桌空位，牛奶4欧，芝士火腿牛角包croissant with cheese and ham 12欧，16欧的早餐确实贵但也很好吃，环境优美，氛围十足，值得一去!

Les serveurs sont assez distants mais contrairement à ce que j’avais lu dans d’autres commentaires, deux d’entre eux parlaient français et même anglais. What an amazing experience! We chose this place because of the great reviews, and it truly lived up to them. We went on our first day in Porto and loved it so much that we returned the next day. Everything was excellent, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the staff.
The prices are very fair for the quality of the food and the wonderful service. The staff are incredibly nice and caring. On our second visit, they even offered us a smoothie as a thank you for coming back, which was such a thoughtful gesture. And of course we returned, the food is fantastic!
We’ll definitely go back the next time we’re in Porto and will happily recommend this place to our friends.

We stayed here for our last night in Portugal- the room was spotless, very aesthetic, had a small kitchen with stove, microwave and a fridge, washroom was clean with a big shower. When we checked in we told the receptionist that we were sad to miss the breakfast the next day as we had an early flight to catch, they told us they would leave a basket for us. Mercador Café has become one of my favourite brunch spots — the perfect place for a wake-up breakfast. Their espresso is excellent, rich and bold, and the eggs are always cooked to absolute perfection. The Greek yoghurt is incredibly fresh and delightful, one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

It came with freshly squeezed orange juice, regular coffee, a warm croissant sandwich with ham and Swiss cheese, and a small bun with butter inside. - Prices are definitely high for the quality and size of the portions. The mushroom sandwich was small, under-seasoned, and almost flavorless. The house iced tea and lemonade glasses were filled about 50% with ice, 25% with water, and 25% with tea/lemonade. Bland and not enough quantity.
- The indoor tables are topped with smooth ceramic tiles. Stylish, sure, but everything you set down on them (plates, glasses, cutlery) slides around ridiculously. It’s impossible to cut something without it moving or nearly falling off. Feels like a prank.
- The “white chocolate” on the white chocolate & berry pancakes tasted only of butter, not sweet, not remotely like white chocolate. Moreover there wasn’t enough to spread over more than half the pancakes. The berries consisted of literally three blueberries thrown on the plate, plus two wilted strawberries that didn’t taste fresh at all.
At an average of over €18 per person, I don’t think it’s worth it. I wouldn’t go back.

Beautifully designed restaurant with lovely details. The restaurant really tells a story with the architecture inside. Many places to be seated, outside patio with sunshade and a beautiful indoor dining room. The Benedict I got was interesting, not my favourite style of Benny as I’d prefer a more solid base rather than the pancake. But regardless, it was very good. Their coffee is excellent. Service was great as well, our host was funny and attentive to our needs, and even moved all our stuff to the outdoor patio when we requested.

Would skip coming here to eat. The food is just aesthetic but the flavors are just not there. We asked for the pancakes which were extremely dry as if they were from two days ago, the acai bowl is really not it, and the same with the red velvet cake very very dry. Plus not even the drinks made the cut.
I have always been a fan of Negra near Casa da Música so I was surprised with the contrast between these two. This one just feels dry.
I came here after the renovations expecting better but it was still the same and I was very disappointed.
This is my review and im clearly not a competitor, and everyone has different tastes of course but I just didn’t enjoy and there was no kindness. My friends felt the same.
P.S: they were very passive aggressive in my review which is just an opinion, and for me that shows lack of consideration towards clients feedbacks. Google reviews are not a place of hatred but to express our considerations. If I had a business like they indicated I was a “competitor” I wouldnt be passive agressive but take the reviews as feedback.

Had an amazing breakfast , the food was not only delicious but was presented beautifully. My husband was very sceptical as he’s never eaten Gluten Free (or vegan) but as I’m coeliac and we were finding anywhere to eat in Porto difficult was prepared to “ give it a go” we had the sharing pancakes he had a latte made with oat milk and said it was delicious I had a berry & banana smoothie which was also delicious.

We ordered the sweet pancakes, but for 12€, they could have added a bit more of chocolate, or (vegan) butter or something to make it better. Returning to Paparoca da Foz after 10 years felt like stepping right back into some of our happiest memories. This was always our special place in Porto – especially for family occasions, like when we celebrated our parents’ (and in-laws’) 83rd birthday here with our children. Every visit was a little feast: the wonderful cakes and rolls, the incredible variety that makes it almost impossible to choose, the bustling atmosphere, and prices that, coming from Germany, we could hardly believe… .

Came here for light brunch and we ordered scrambled eggs with bacon on toast, an apple juice and coffee. The waitress didn’t seem to want to help us then provided us the wrong order. It seems to be a family business. Our bartender was a little girl of maybe 15 years. Her english was very decent as well. She did her job professionally. Highly recommended. 10/10 will come again if given a chance.

Fast alle Zimmer sind um einen schönen, zentral gelegenen Innenhof angeordnet, der Zugang erfolgt direkt von diesem Innenhof, man ist also nur durch eine Tür von diesem Innenhof getrennt. Was ich aber als Frechheit empfinde, ist, dass diese Gastro für alle Bewohner wegen einer externen Feier geschlossen wurde. Wir wurden darüber per Whatsapp Nachricht informiert und es wurde uns geraten, uns möglichst unsichtbar zu machen, um die Feier nicht zu stören. Man hatte also die Möglichkeit, entweder bis in die frühen Morgenstunden in der Stadt unterwegs zu sein oder in seinem Zimmer, vor dessen Glastür direkt eine Feier bis in den Morgen stattfand, keinen Schlaf zu finden.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July in a four bedroom female room. Lovely location, close to many things and easy to walk to whatever we wanted to do. Liked the room layout; beds had curtains and there was tons of lockers and storage. I think there was probably 10 different locker options throughout. The bathroom was massive. Beds had a shelf and charging area as well as a light and a locker. All beds had curtains too. The room does open directly onto a lively bar/restaurant area. Privacy wasn't an issue as there is a giant curtain however most nights it was quite loud from the guests at the bar. Overall really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again!

He suggested a great choice for me and my wife, and for our children too, we had it with a coffee and milk and my son with cold chocolate with milk. When we were siting in the place you could feel how authentic is the place and not just.for tourism, you feel the smell of the fresh bakery with the beautiful welcoming smile of all. When we finished we tried also some almond biscuits whom we liked. Nono is a person who let you love to come back to his bakery to feel the authenticity of his place. We had an AMAZING stay here 11/24/24-12/3/24 at the Porto Grandeur Collection! The location is a 15-min walk to the city center and an easy Uber from the airport and Campanha Train Station. This is a newly renovated older building so it’s fresh and brand new but has old house charm. High ceilings, lots of light, CLEAN, lovely bright and airy new furnishings with comfortable beds and places to lounge and relax. Lots of places to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee or tea. The bedrooms are VERY QUIET and much attention to details such as dehumidifiers for use and the towel warmer which I confess we used to rapidly dry quite a bit of laundry! I liked the convenience of the en suite bathroom in the main level bedroom and the other half bath that we dedicated to our daughter to use who was staying downstairs in the bigger bedroom. The extra room downstairs gave everyone quiet and privacy for a good nights sleep. My favorite thing was the huge window in main level bedroom with black out shades for sleep that easily rolled up in the morning to allow sunshine in from the courtyard and the sound of seagulls in the distance! And the massive glass door that looks out into the courtyard and can be tilted for a breeze. Magical place! There is zero noise from the road or the building which makes for a sanctuary in the city. The kitchen is brand new and perfect for any cooking you may like - we did very little as we enjoyed the wonderful food the city has to offer. But we enjoyed lazy mornings with coffee and pastry at home. The building is easily accessible but very quiet and private and the apartment faces a beautiful courtyard and even has a swimming pool which must be lovely in the summer months. Zé helped us check in with detailed directions that were easy to follow. We felt very safe and comfortable in the building and walking home late in the evening. Porto is such a wonderful place - this is my second visit and we were delighted by the Christmas light displays all over the city. Can’t wait to come back!
