Sadly our experience was not. The cocktail menu had nothing that interested us, but that’s ok, we were here for the food. We got an appetizer that was very good, the lamb and eggplant napoleon. The dish was good but the pita it came with was not fresh at all, and that was pretty disappointing. When we ordered entrees, we decided on the bhabha lamb shank and the seafood paella. We both love paella and lamb, this is going to be great we thought! Well, the lamb was great for sure, full of flavor and tender. We both enjoyed it and thats what we ended up sharing for our meal. The seafood paella was however one of the worst dishes we have ever been served! Rarely is there a dish so bad that we have it removed from the table, but this was 100% not going to be eaten by us. The seafood paella was really just a bland rice dish, with overcooked seafood. The mussels were dry and not edible, the shrimp overcooked, the chicken was dry, the sausage was also just overcooked tiny slices, and the fish was an abomination! It was a hunk of snapper i think, without the bloodline removed, and just terrible. I am a fisherman, badly prepared seafood offends me, respect our hard work and the beautiful and delicious bounty of our seas, we live in a waterfront community, you can and should do better here especially for the prices! To start, we had the Greek salad, watermelon strawberry salad and octopus - all were well prepared and tasty. For main course, my wife had the lamb meatballs, which were great. However, my daughter and I ordered the branzino (which was like $50 per order) and which was terrible and very dry. When the dishes first came out, my branzino was bone dry and completely inedible. I had a great date night here recently. Parking was easy. There is a free parking garage behind the restaurant and it was a very short walk. When we got to the doors, we checked in and there were a few people waiting in this small area for their table. There are no seats so it became crowded. The bar was also full at this time (7PM on a Friday). We got called to our table within 5 minutes and the magic began. I loved everything I ordered. The wagyu and salmon belly nigiri. If I had to choose between the 2, I would choose the salmon belly. I also really liked the Ribeye I ordered. It was cooked to perfection! There are sauce accompaniments on the menu but I had a free house au ju sauce to pair with the 16oz ribeye. My date and I split the twin lobster tails, miso broccoli, and the whipped mashed potatoes. I highly recommend this location of Ocean Prime as a top steakhouse in the area.

We had the Grouper in Key Lime sauce, and the Chilean Sea Bass. It may have been an off night where they were maybe short staffed including possibly a food runner since it was a Monday, yet it was still busy.
