We came on a Sunday night around 6pm. Parking was available in the metered lot and completely validated by the restaurant. We could not have been more impressed. The witch feels were strong in here. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The food was fantastic, honestly equal to or better than a lot of fine dining French restaurants. a little bit tapas-like, so try a bunch of different things. This place looked like it hit all the marks but looks can be deceiving. The pros: the decor and drink names follow along with the name. A "Spooky" vibe was well thought out and maintained. The fact that they are using the same pots and pans and spoons to cook the vegetarian stuff is wrong. We called the server and told them to just return it and give us the check. We arrived at opening, so the bar wasn't fully stocked with their hot items, but the veggies and seafood options were pretty full. Brisket and beef belly were a little too fatty, but the beef belly was more tender. Our fave ended up being Chuck Eye as it had decent marbling, so we stuck with this option for the meal. Overall, it was just alright. The shabu feels a bit more geared toward the Korean palate and had a larger variety of seafood choices, but it just wasn't our vibe.

It was warm and comforting on a cold rainy day - just like how I remembered it. Food is served a la carte here with different tiers of dinner combos available as well. The staff grill the meat for you. Our server was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. We opted for the non-marinated premium combo. We also got the naengmyeon combo and an order of beef tongue a la carte. Our combos came with banchan, which our server generously offered to refill. A standout for me was the jeon. Even if you hadn’t told me it was made to order, the freshness and crispiness of the shell would’ve given it away. The insides were still piping hot and the accompanying sauce was delicious. Then came the meat. We started with brisket. Since we opted for the premium combo, I was hoping that the meat would be better than what I remembered. However, I thought the brisket was ordinary and, if anything, a little dry. The beef tongue, however, was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. The texture was not rubbery at all and had a springy bite to it. And it was so juicy. Paired with kimchi and the sweet soy, it was heavenly. Compared to the beef tongue, everything that came in the premium non-marinated meat combo felt lackluster. I was disappointed especially because these items were labeled as premium, and I didn’t think they were worth the higher price point. I will give Mo Ran Gak credit for their cold noodles, which are as delicious as I remember. Just 6 minutes from Knott's Berry Farm, you'll find a luxury premium grilled wagyu experience that is 100% worth the price tag. The pork brisket is a pass for us. Not bad by any means, but I’d get something else if we come back The marinated short rib was probably my favorite dish. The perfect amount of marbling and marinaded well. Juicy and tender. It was a nice meal overall. While I wouldn’t consider this place a must-try, especially with so many options at the Source, it’s a good place for a quality meal.

I love egg sandwiches! This place came up close to our hotel. It's in the Source mall on the first floor. The place was small and only had two tables. They do have photo booths for fun with friends for $5 but the place was empty. We ordered their Bulgogi Egg Sandwich and Bacon Egg Sandwich. The bread was bigger then the inside but the egg was moist. The sauce for the Bulgogi was kinda sweet with a tiny kick to it. The Bulgogi meat was kinda chewy on some parts. The bread was nice and buttery. We also ordered their Dalgona Frappuccino and Dalgona Coffee. I really like them especially, Dalgona coffee as I can taste the coffee. I love coffee drinks. I just didn't like the cookie they put in it but that's my preference. They have many other sandwiches and drinks to try. If I'm in the area, I would come back. I would recommend to give this place a try but my rating is more 3.5 stars for now.
