The wine was good, the dry ones were anyway, and the facility worked out great for an event. The ceremony was down a short path in a little meadow surrounded by tall cypress trees and was beautiful. It was 90+ degrees and looking into the setting sun but it was pretty. Dinner was upstairs on the patio and was good and fun to see the kids dance and have fun. Jim has a slight accent from Denmark that is endearing but he was so attentive, informative and helpful. We've done ALOT of wine tasting but this was a rare experience of having such a knowledgeable person helping us. My husband and I spent our 1st time here on our honeymoon, and they gave us a free upgrade as wine club members. It was a breath taking room. We tell all of our friends about it❣️ The other thing that make this a lovely place to stay is that it's far enough from the main part of town to get away from the busy sections of town and in the center of Temecula Wineries 🍷, but not too far from Old town or even Pechanga if you want to shop or gamble. They do have a restaurant on the property that is good also, and of course wine tasting. The rooms vineyard views from most of the rooms they have, some better than others. They've also got a relaxing spa and pool area. It's a special place for sure.

To be fair, it was a crowded weekend outdoor event on a miserably hot day. I had been totally underwhelmed by warm white wine in a plastic cup and didn't visit again until recently...but am glad I gave it another shot! This recent visit was with a women's wine group on a Friday as soon as they opened. I had never been inside the tasting room which is beautiful with a warm wood decor and western ambiance. Our servers were friendly and my Cab Franc was good. We all tried their famous Ponderosa Port shots in chocolate cowboy boots which was such a fun and yummy combo! Breezy pleasant temps after a heat wave meant we were able to sit outside. Although not pet-friendly, it is a kid-friendly winery, with a playground area and some farm animals. They have Saturday night bonfires, music and food trucks. There was a taco truck the day we were there and those who ordered said it was great. While I probably wouldn't visit on a regular basis, this was a unique winery that I'd especially recommend to anyone with kids.

They make sure they have good bands that play a variety of music and it’s a place that you simply enjoy. The wine is good, the staff makes you feel so very welcomed, they have a vendor who cooks great BBQ (get ready for some good BBQ) and REALLY you will want to just kickback and spend your day there! I was just there with 137 guest who I invited for a day in the wine country at Bel Vino. THE WINERY OF CHOICE and let me tell you that’s where we all stayed no question and had a ball. Isn’t it something when all your guest love a particularly winery so much they all said, “we are staying right here”. I know you have choices but if you are reading this it’s a MUST to stop there. As I stated before the location and setting are the only 2 things this place has got going for it. No reason to return unless major renovations and pleasant front desk staff changes are made.

My daughter and I came here after I googled "healthy food near me" and this popped up. I wouldn't necessarily categorize it as such but we gave it a shot anyways. He was a delight to talk to and he even took the time to share his vineyard story and took a moment to give us a tidbit of vineyard and grape growing & harvesting education. We rent e-bikes throughout all of our travels and this by far was our best experience. The rental cost was beyond reasonable in my opinion. You won't be disappointed and after spending just a few minutes in conversation with the owner you will be glad you made your selection.
