One of my favorite public courses in Seattle. The staff are welcoming, the food is tasty (I always get the tots at the 9th) and the course is in good condition. The city views on some of the holes are fantastic. I had a cart break down during one round but the team at the pro shop quickly came to the rescue so no issues there. It can be hard to find a tee time on short notice (they’re popular) so book in advance if you’re looking to play a round over the weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about this course. I’ll start with condition - the course has been in fantastic condition all summer. Every time I get paired with people it’s always a comment from everyone every single round “hey this place is well maintained and looks great”. I agree!
The staff is super nice and very helpful. The course is a really fun challenge, not a super easy flat course, you really have to think and take care throughout the course which makes it so fun. It’s a great course to walk, despite plenty of hills.
I keep going back because it’s hands down the best public course in the entire Seattle area. Love west Seattle golf course!!!

Course is well designed but the staff and maintenance are simply awful. Paid over $90 for a weekend with cart and when the carts check engine light was on and it wouldn’t work, they told us at the pro shop that “all carts were the same”. Played this course 10+ times. Uniquely bad customer service experience every time. The people at the front desk do not enjoy their jobs and project that onto the players. Our cart was not functioning properly (after paying $36 for it between the two of us). We went into the pro shop at the 9th and they refused to give us a new one, instead saying “it’ll work” and ignoring our request. We went back in and requested to change again, only for them to give us a cart number that didn’t exist. We paid $92 each today and left very disappointed. Won’t be back. Suggest bellevue golf course as a better alternative where players are appreciated and respected. The starter today (7/20 was very nice though).

Such a great spot to work on your short game, hit up mini golf or go to a driving range. It’s a well balanced set up in a nice facility, great options for food/drink and helpful staff. You can go to Bellevue Crossroads golf for $21 or get a better course for $3 which is a much better deal.

I had their Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was great. Nothing fancy or special but just a good tasty sandwich for a good price. I would definitely get it again.

Driving range in the city is so amazing! It’s just south of the Ballard bridge. This golf center is part of Seattle Parks so its fees are very reasonable. This golf center has a covered driving range with heat for the cold winters. Also has the top tracer which is great for tracking distance and a friendly competition with friends. This golf center also had a putt putt and a 9 hole course and a putting green. Also has a cafe for some good eats and a little shop for some gear.

Decent place but need to be careful at the driving range. My driver couldn't clear the toptracer screen at one of the bays. I've never thought to check for this before. I went at it with a full swing and banged right into the screen. Need a new driver now. What should've been a fairly inexpensive driving range experience turned quite expensive due to a poor setup.
I talked to one of the guys in the pro shop and it seems like people sometimes move the mats around. I understand this is unexpected behavior on the part of the patrons, but maybe some sort of signage to warn people of this possibility would be good.
Was excited to spend more time at this place since I moved nearby recently, but not sure I'll be coming back, as this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve had an outstanding experience at Interbay. The course conditions are consistently impressive, especially considering how busy it is. The grass is well maintained, and even on rainy days the course drains really well. For beginners like me, the 9-hole course has been a perfect place to build confidence. It’s flat, open, fun for all experience levels, and usually only takes about 90 minutes—ideal for getting in extra practice during the week.
The driving range is great - it opens early and stays open late.
The food is great too. I love the Warbird chicken sandwich (it sounds spicy but isn’t) and the breakfast sandwich is good after morning games.
The lessons have been the highlight of my golf journey. I started playing for the first time at the end of August, beginning with a 60-minute private lesson with Ron, who helped me get my swing started on the right track. I’ve also taken group classes with Johnny, and he’s been outstanding. He genuinely cares about his students, gives thoughtful feedback, and often stays past the allotted time to make sure everyone understands the material. Thanks to their help, my driving distance is now around 230 yards, and I’m having a blast learning and improving.
I did have one 30-min private lesson that was only about 15min of time with the teacher. Interbay promptly comped it with no hassle at all. Excellent customer service.
Highly recommend Interbay whether you’re new to golf or looking to level up your game.

Fabulous course in the heart of the city. Well maintained, lively, quick without pesky marshals (despite a busy eve finished in an 1hr.50m with delay only at hole 7). 9 holes, well maintained fairways and greens. If you play here please remember to heal the holes you make on the green. No carts, but doesnt matter its an easy stroll. if you want to go light carry only your hybrid, 7, pitching wedge and putter. That's all you need. The two story driving range looked nice and popular. My new go to quick golf venue on a week day evening.

this is a pretty fun place and budget friendly. Unlike top golf, this place you pay for balls and not a time slot. You can play for as long as you like at your bay.
NOTE: The second floor does not have heat! Go early if you want to get a bay with heat on the first floor. It does get cold therefore dress lots of layers and bring hand warmers. Bring gloves and a hat! This was my first time at this driving range so wish I knew how cold it got.
The hot chocolate at the cafe is fairly price (2.50). The cafe has a variety of items ( alcohol too).
PARKING
Parking was very easy as the lot had plenty of spaces. No parallel parking unless you want to.

Jackson park is a local Seattle course that is relatively near the city and is in pretty good shape, despite the wet climate. The course is surrounded by tall foresty trees, and has lots of interesting opportunities to challenge yourself.
From the tips, the course plays a bit longer than its 6100 yards total distance because it has several holes that are uphill and into the wind.
The grass coverage and upkeep is pretty good and the greens are usually in excellent shape. There are a few greens that are relatively steep and breaking, so you will get a great opportunity to practice your lag putting.
In terms of shape and shot selection, Jackson offers all sorts of interesting situations and blind shots. Of course, every round of golf is a conversation between the player and course. So with that said, depending on how you’re playing, your strategic thinking, and your imagination, you can really have a fun round out here.
Overall, this facility has good practice greens, a good double decker driving range, and a reasonably challenging course to up level your game.

Despite the name, this is effectively an open access private course. Unlike the other public golf courses in the city, there is no provision of any sort for the public to use the course. The residents of the area get to deal with the pollution and the inconvenience of having a golf course, but not have any sort of access to the course.
The only thing the neighbors get is a partially completed trail around the outside that regularly floods so that we can see what we don't get to use. Other public golf courses in the city are at least located next to other parks that the public can use. Elitist waste of space. They were able to rearrange the course a bit for the driving range, but there's nothing for the locals that get to choke on the smoke from the extra cars on 15th.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Foster Golf Links. The service was unprofessional and rude from start to finish.
After checking in at the clubhouse, nothing was mentioned about spectators or needing to pay for the entire cart. However, after we we got our cart and were about to head to the course, a staff member followed us out and started yelling that no spectators were allowed and that we should have paid for the whole cart, even though this was never communicated beforehand when we checked in together. Later, when returning the cart, another worker yelled at us insisting we return rentals in order to get our ID back — but we never rented any clubs or gave our ids anywhere, we had our own clubs and did not rent. We were just trying to ask this person where to return the cart but before we can say anything he began yelling about rentals.
The way staff spoke to us was unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful, and the experience felt discriminatory. Instead of calmly clarifying policies, they chose to raise their voices and make assumptions. This created a hostile and unwelcoming atmosphere. I expected much better treatment and professionalism. Clear communication of policies upfront and respectful customer service should be the bare minimum. Sadly, this experience has made me not want to return.

We went here around noon on Sunday during summertime when the sun was out. We didn't reserve any bay but were immediately seated. It was on the first floor but all the way near the edge of the lot.
You rent a bay by the hour. One bay can accommodate 6 active player on the computer. If your group is like 8+ I would recommend more than 1 Bay.
Our server was attentive and food came out very quick. Food was decent for what it is. Standard flavor, not mind-blowing but not bad. If you are hungry, it will hit the spot. We ordered the nachos with queso, chicken wings trio, the nachos with meat, Patty melt, smokehouse burger, tacos. Generally, the tacos are pretty good. The burgers was mid to me, not as flavorful.
Golf game was fun. Even if you don't know how to play, you'll still have fun just hitting stuff. Costco gift card can definitely save you some money!

It was my first time at a Topgolf and our group had a lot of fun. It was $65/hr and we bought the $100 gift cards at Costco for $80.

We had my daughter's 18th birthday at Topgolf and used the first floor patio. It was the most beautiful atmosphere for an evening party. Beautiful patio globe lights , the fireplaces were on, there were TVs, tons of outdoor games. It was so beautiful! We also reserved two bays close to the patio for a few hours and everyone had a blast from the grandpa's to the kids! The food was amazing, excellent, menu options and good prices. The Bay host Josh was very kind and attentive. The manager Bartly checked in with us many times and was so welcoming and made us feel absolutely taken care! After a morning of walking we headed into this watering hole and were pleasantly surprised at how long we stayed! We did the mini-golf, which was a pretty good course, a bit more challenging than the usual ones you find in bars - but my no means difficult. Then we moved onto the darts board which we ended up staying for about 2hrs - Christ my arm was sore! We had several drinks and some bar snack food while we were chucking the arrows. Plenty of games on the dart board to play and the photo's and videos were a great touch whilst playing (camera above the dart board, catches team photo before and videos the winning shot!)

Another thing that is interesting about these sims is that they also have fun kids games and can use a variety of balls like soccer balls, etc. - so this is a family friendly place as well.
The most valuable deal 5i offers is their monthly membership which gets you discounted food and drink, a free swing eval with a pro, and also lots of opportunities to walk in and play whenever bays are available. I’ve been a member for over a year now and it’s been worth every penny.
After being a member for a while I started getting involved in their quarterly competitive golf leagues where you can get paired up with other local golfers and go team vs team for 8-10 weeks. It’s a blast and you will make friends - even if you’re not yet good at golf.

I came to him with zero golf experience, literally never picked up a club, and in just a year I’ve improved to a 13 handicap. I just started playing golf for real instead if just hitting the range and Green Lake Pitch & Putt is a great place to start. This laid-back par 3 course is right by the lake with a nice view, beginner-friendly holes, and yes, beer. Real beer. On-site. No need to sneak a Rainier in!
Before you even tee off, you can warm up on the putt-putt practice area, and if you’re waiting for your turn or just vibing with the scenery, there are plenty of spots to kick back, soak up the sun, and chat it up with your fellow players.

1st thank you to the club and members for allowing our tournament to be here. Built in 1919, feels like your in time machine when in the mens locker room. The golf course is just a pleasure to play, not really long but tree lined fairways and undulating greens keep it a good test. The 15th is a great short par 3 that requires a precise wedge and the pond that fronts the par 5 16th reminds me of Augusta's 15th with a shaved bank waiting to punish any approach shots that come up short. Only downside was the constant aircrafts landing at nearby SeaTac, but you get used to it.

Just wanted to leave a quick review for public, non-UW folks. Cost to park for an hour is $5. Bucket of large balls (80 or so) is $9 and the balls are extremely old and dirty. Heater didn't work in my bay. Good selection of flags to hit at with clearly marked distances, which was nice.

Honestly this place should be a museum, I talked with an employee (who is actually a volunteer who just loves the company) and found out that The Good Coffee Company started at the same time as Starbucks, so it is really a part of Seattle coffee history! Decent instruction and tech, and they were able to upsell me. However, after taking my money they declined to actually offer the lessons and club fitting I paid for. I went for a fitting. All this lady did was change the shafts and heads. Nothing past what any other golf store does for you at a free simulator.
After I was "fitted", I was given a price of 1500$. I had done some research and that seemed high, so I didn't buy them on the spot. Mind you, it cost 95$ for the "fitting", and they don't waive that fee if you buy through them (most do).
I took my specs to puetz, pro golf discount, and online to make sure I was getting the right price and both places quoted me 1200$.
